The Silver Knot

The Silver Knot is a wedding venue located in Ronan, MT. Owners Kurt and Traci Johnson give a warm “Montana Welcome” to couples seeking a scenic and spacious venue in which to host their special day. They are honored to bring friends and families together at their stunning ranch to celebrate momentous occasions of commitment. Nestled on 26 acres, the property offers spectacular views of the Mission Mountains that will make for a dreamy backdrop to each celebration. Receptions at Silver Knot are held in the rustic-chic 2,400-square-foot barn, which accommodates large gatherings for dinner and dancing. This expansive banquet hall features exposed wooden beams, reclaimed dock wood from Flathead Lake, corral-siding walls, glittering chandeliers, and sweeping windows that overlook the mountains. The building also houses a dressing room and get-ready suite that have vanities with mirrors and comfortable seating. Stairs lead up to a loft, where overflow seating, DJ booths, and cocktail hours can be set up. A prep kitchen is also available and comes complete with a standard refrigerator and freezer, open range, and an extra large sink. Ceremonies can be held inside in front of the windows or in a dedicated outdoor spot. A path leads to this breathtaking location, where couples can walk down the aisle while their loved ones look on. The Silver Knot offers comprehensive wedding packages that come with exclusive access to the grounds, an indoor or outdoor dance floor, and setup and cleanup. Round and rectangular tables, resin chairs for outdoor events, Chiavari chairs for indoor celebrations, and assorted decorative tables are also provided. Montana-style barbecue, glassware, flatware, and dishware are available for an additional charge, as are floral arrangements, DJs, event planning, and hair and makeup services. Other extras include an officiant service to preside over the exchange of vows and firewood for the outdoor fire pit.
