Julia and Matt are AMAZING. They are so much fun to work with and made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. Their vision is amazing and it shows with such incredible photos. We would choose to work with them 100 times over. They made our wedding day run so smoothly and somehow managed to capture every single moment - big and small and we've only seen the sneak peek so far. They are such genuinely good and fun people to have around on your wedding day.

Even with lots of moving pieces, they were a calming and reassuring presence during the chaos of our wedding day—the stunning gallery we received a few weeks later was just the icing on the cake when it came to working with them! I love film photography, which is the reason I reached out to The Simmons in the first place, and they did not disappoint! I also gave Julia a mood board for photo inspiration, and she was able to capture the exact vibe I was hoping for by incorporating my style into our final gallery while staying true to their own brand. We received our photos very quickly and they were quick to respond to my many questions. Enough said—The Simmons are THE best in the Columbus area so book them now!

I don't even know where to begin because Julia and Matt are literal superheros! I'm so happy we found them because they made our wedding day. They worked with us to provide a custom package based on our budget and specific needs, which included an engagement shoot. Our engagement pics turned out so beautiful, so I knew our wedding photos would be just as magical. That was our first time in front of cameras, so we were a little nervous and awkward, but Julia made it such a fun and enjoyable experience. It was nice having that time for us to get to know her before the big day too. I must have had 1,000+ questions that I asked Julia throughout the process and she was always super responsive and friendly. I leaned on Julia's expertise for several different things (ex: getting ready PJs, ceremony exit, sparkler photo, etc.). She always had great advice and input! Julia also created a detailed timeline for our wedding day that we used as the master timeline for all our vendors and venue. We spent the majority of our wedding day with Julia and Matt, which is why it's SO important that you have a connection with your photographers! We were so thankful to have them by our side. Not to mention, they are such a sweet husband and wife duo. They would demonstrate some of the poses they asked us to do, which was a really helpful visual. Not only were they committed to getting the best shots, they went ABOVE and BEYOND to ensure everything was perfect. For example, there was a bug stain on my husband's shirt while we were doing formal portraits and Matt sprinted to the bridal suite to get a Tide to Go pen. They were supposed to leave at 9pm, but my dress bustle broke (and I was beside myself) and Julia stayed late and safety pinned it for me. These are just 2 examples of the many instances where they were looking out for us and supporting us, going beyond the role of photographers. We've seen a couple of sneak peek photos from our wedding day on Instagram and they brought tears of joy to our eyes! They did an outstanding job capturing our love. We can't wait to receive the full gallery and photo album. We're very grateful to have these special photos to cherish and relive our big day over and over again.
