The Smithfield Center is a multipurpose space, featuring a flexible floor plan and the latest in audio/visual equipment. The center’s floor to ceiling windows take advantage of its premier waterfront location on the Pagan River, offering a naturally beautiful setting that will bring an added dimension to any gathering. Rental of the Center also includes use of the 2,300 square foot outdoor deck.

out amazing. The reception was just inside, super convenient. The staff at the center made it so easy to turn their spacious room into an elegant ocean side venue. There was always someone on site to help if needed. The best part was the price. Very affordable.

d that both looked great and could hold the number of people we wanted to attend. The Smithfield Center was perfect. I'll admit that I wasn't impressed by the pictures I saw of it beforehand, but my fiancé convinced me to go see it in person and I'm so glad I did! I love the open space, beautiful wood floors, neutral color palette, chandeliers, and deck outside. We fit about 225 guests very comfortably using the whole venue, although I know you can rent a smaller portion of the space that can be divided up if you have a smaller wedding. Personally, I think it looks best with the whole space rented. Amy was great to work with. Our caterer gushed about how easy and enjoyable the space was to work in. We didn't look into uplighting, but I've been to some other weddings there that had it and it was a great touch. Awesome venue for the price!

ove that you get a lot of time for your money and if you use one of their vendors they reccommend you get a free hour! Definitley book them way in advance though! I got engaged New Years Even 2011 and called just over a week later to book April 2012 and they only had 2 Saturdays left! And were getting ready to book a 3rd! The only thing I didn't like was you really have to bring EVERYTHING as far as vendors decor everything. I delt a lot with Courtney who was so so so helpful and sweet! But she couldn't be there the entire night and by the end of it we had a different lady Helen who was suppose to be helping us....she did everything but that! She was so extremley rude we couldn't beleive it! It was actually embarrassing how rude she was to us and my guests who were there until the end helping us clean up.

he right place, but it was! The pricing is great, the location is beautiful, and the inclusions in the price make it even better. Unfortunately, it was too hot - but we had planned to have the ceremony out on their deck, the view out there is beautiful! But they quickly changed the plans and set up inside for us. They also went above and beyond for me while I was having a nervous breakdown over my hair and makeup lady not showing up. They helped finish up some things that I would have done. Everyone was simply amazing, and went above and beyond! Definitely recommend this location for any bride!!
