Excellent food, staff, and experience! I can’t recommend them enough. Alan was so attentive to all my questions and requests. The food was incredible. My guests are still talking to me about how good it was. Highly recommend.

We used The Smoke Pit to cater our wedding rehearsal dinner in May 2022 and the food was PHENOMENAL! We served a group of about 35 and had burnt ends, pulled chicken, Mac and cheese, green bean casserole, and potato salad and every single thing...

I had my wedding at Sky Retreat in Purlear, NC on May 16th,2021. Working with Alan was seamless and I highly recommend working with this caterer. From our catering tasting to countless emails to our wedding day, I never doubted our decision to ...
use them. Alan made sure to coordinate all of our wants and needs extremely well (I’m sure he also did this in spite of a very busy schedule.) You can tell he works very hard and manages his time well to be as efficient as he is.
We had a gas shortage this particular weekend in NC and they made it work! All of the staff who worked my wedding event from the Smoke Pit were awesome! They were prompt, kind and accommodating. Everyone at my wedding was very impressed with the food & the service. The food was basically all gone at the end of the night- which makes me very happy! I could not have asked for a better situation! Thank you guys so much!

There was even enough food to serve members of the Renaissance Festival staff. The Queen herself even grabbed a plate! I'd highly recommend the Smoke Pit to those looking to cater their next event.
