The Social Chair Blowout Bar is a full-service blowout bar in Murfreesboro, TN, offering affordable luxury wedding services such as signature style blowouts, formal updos and makeup application. We are located in the newly constructed Fountains at Gateway off Medical Center Parkway. Featuring a sophisticated design and open layout, the Social Chair will offer individual styling stations along with a community dry bar to accommodate larger groups preparing for weddings or any occasion. The Social Chair was created to allow our clients the ability to socialize while getting pampered.

My bridesmaids and I all got our hair done at the The Social Chair and it was such a fun start to the wedding day! We all loved how our hairstyles turned out! My stylist was Dez and she made me feel so cared for from the trial to the wedding day!

My bridal makeup was PERFECT! Amy Mac did an incredible job making me feel so comfortable on my wedding day as someone who doesn’t wear makeup on the daily, but I understand the importance of it during professional photography. She was so easy and fun to talk to and everyone in my wedding party LOVED their hair and makeup. I would highly recommend Amy Mac to do any of your event makeup, she is amazing!

Krystal did my hair and makeup for my wedding and it was BEAUTIFUL! The hair and makeup also help up very well all day and night despite all the dancing and hugs and kisses from my family! Thank you @krystaldickerson for making me feel so beautiful on my wedding day!!! it was EXACTLY how I wanted it to be!!!

I booked The Social Chair for my wedding for H&MU for myself and my bridesmaids. Angela did an amazing job with everyone's makeup! Not only is she sweet, but she is so talented. Natalie created so many beautiful hair styles for the bridesmaids, and the make up she did was amazing! Thanks to The Social Chair, we had a wonderful time getting ready. They stuck to timelines and got the day off to a wonderful start!

Sadly, I would have to recommend that you do not get you hair done here. I have received two services for different events and both were the most disappointing outcomes. The environment is so enticing, but it was just not worth it. My hair was truly... ugly for my wedding reception. It is so frustrating because it is really expensive and we were looking forward to having nice photos with our families that traveled so far but I just can't get past how bad my hair looks. My brides maids also got their hair done and many of them hated it. None of them looked like the photos and none of them held at all!!! I had a friend of college do some of my brides maids because there were a lot of us and she had to fix all of our hair because it would not stop falling out. It had no volume from the front and was so flat. It fell out countless times, before we even renewed our vows. Very sad experience and there's nothing that can be done now... wedding and photos are done :(

Due to COVID, they were unable to do makeup for me and my bridesmaids, but they did an amazing job with all of our hair! My hairstyle lasted the entire day and night and was just what I wanted! I had both my hair and makeup done by them in the fall for my engagement photos and I loved it! Highly recommend both hair and makeup services from the Social Chair.

Among the COVID pandemic, The Social Chair was super good at communicating with me throughout the entire process! Anytime they had a change or had to notify me of requirements- they did. AND they killed my bridal parties hair and makeup and mine was absolutely beautiful. I couldn’t believe how well they did with it all! I couldn’t of been happier with how it all went!

Amazing experience all the way through! Amy coordinated hair and makeup for my wedding day and transitioned everything so easily when our wedding date changed due to Covid. Krystal, Ryin, and Liz created such beautiful looks for myself, my bridesmaids, and my mother. Not only do they do amazing work, but they were so much fun to be around. Thank you so much to the whole time!

They took my vision and brought it to life better than I could have imagined. Amy and Karie are rockstars and got myself and my bridesmaid ready on time and we’re accommodating to each girls skin/hair and every one of us were so happy with the outcomes!! I used Amy for make up and Krystal for hair twice! Once for my engagement and wedding! They both were beyond amazing. My make up stayed on all night and my hair did too! They both listened to what I wanted and when I didn't have an opinion on a style or color they offered options!

I booked the social chair for make up and hair before my wedding. The girls were all so sweet and I enjoyed my entire experience. Amy was easy to schedule with and she returned my emails promptly. When I arrived they had a sign out front with my name on it and the girl at the desk got us mimosas. I had Liz for hair and Liz (they were different people with the same name lol) for make up. Both my hair and make up lasted all day/night at my wedding! Thank you so much Social Chair!

I had booked Amy to do my makeup for my wedding, and I have to say that she was absolutely fabulous to work with. She did mine, my three bridesmaids, and both my mother and my husband's mother. Everyone looked absolutely stunning. My mom, who is very particular about her makeup, was absolutely in love with the work Amy did. I tell my husband all the time that my makeup will never look as good as it did on our wedding day, thanks to Amy. Highly, highly recommend the Social Chair!

Choosing The Social Chair was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding planning! The salon is so gorgeous and the pictures we took inside are some of my favorite ones from that day. The girls made me look and feel like the most beautiful bride while juggling hair and makeup for my whole bridal party + some family! My hair and makeup turned out exactly how I wanted (and they were so great about helping me figure out what exactly what that was!) and looked great for the entire day! I had Amy for makeup and Liz for hair. These women are incredible. I have NEVER felt more beautiful in my life! Definitely worth every penny. The response time is also great and they stick to the schedule very well. I have absolutely zero complaints and would recommend their services to everyone. I have seen Amy's makeup done on several of my friends as well and every single time they turn out drop dead gorgeous. I would rate them 10 stars if I could!

They are a bit pricy, but I drove out 90 minutes one way to this little boutique because of the amazing reviews for my wedding. These girls treat you like family and are so funny. I had such a wonderful experience with them. So much so that I cried after getting my hair and makeup done. I wear makeup everyday and I have my hair and makeup done before, but this is a whole new level. They really know their stuff! I am so so impressed and will go back at least once a year for blowouts, cuts, and whatever else because they are just so awesome.

Yep. These girls are top notch. 100% would recommend them for anything. They are so friendly, took direction so well from the girls who knew exactly what hairstyle they wanted, and came up with something incredible and flattering for those who didn't have a preference! Highly recommend!

Highly recommend the Social Chair for any bride on her wedding day! Amy and Emily made me feel absolutely beautiful and listened very closely to what I wanted and how I wanted to look. They gave my mom confidence with her makeup and hair, and the whole experience was so relaxed and fun.

I’ve enjoyed two experiences with Social Chair. I absolutely loved my hair and makeup both separate occasions, both of which was serviced by different staff. The atmosphere is visually appealing, and very clean. You are welcomed with charming personalities and a alcoholic/non alcoholic beverage. I plan to return for upcoming social events and even my wedding.

I cannot express enough how disappointed I was with my bridal hair from this salon. Entirely devastating to see my photos and how poorly they did my hair on the most important day of my life. It puts me in tears that they let me walk out of their salon looking like that. Not to mention they took way over time, so I was almost late for my own wedding - talk about stress! I hate my wedding photos because my hair looks so incredibly awful.
