I purchased the full-service package, which included cleaning, setup, and teardown. In May, I learned that my wedding coordinator had been let go. I was not informed by the venue and only found out after reaching out myself. At that point, the flooring project still had not been completed. I was then assigned a new coordinator, who had previously worked with my original coordinator at her former venue. The following month, he was also let go. Again, I was not notified, and the floors remained unfinished. By this point, I was extremely concerned. Both coordinators understood my vision and had assured me they could make it happen. It was already June, and with my wedding scheduled for August, finding another venue was no longer a realistic option. The owner reassured me that the flooring and venue would be completed in time, emphasizing that there were still nearly three months until the wedding. Two weeks before the wedding, I was informed that the floors would not be completed in time. We visited the venue on the Wednesday before the wedding after being told everything would be ready and the tables would be set up. While the tables were in place, little else had been done. There was moldy food left in the refrigerator, the venue had not been cleaned, and the overall condition was unacceptable. As a result, my family and I spent Thursday, Friday, and early Saturday cleaning the kitchen and bathrooms and helping with setup tasks that were supposed to be included in the package we paid for. To their credit, they did provide alcohol at cost and supplied some decorations. However, I still wish I had chosen a different venue. They had eight months to prepare the facility and fulfill their commitments, but ultimately fell far short of the expectations that were promised.
