The Somerley

e for a 50 person wedding and then restrictions shifted just a few weeks out from our date. Hilary answers all of my emails within hours, Matt was within earshot throughout the entire wedding, and we received a to-go bag for our hotel stay full of the amazing food served at our wedding. COVID: Everyone tested prior to coming to the reception and I was happy that they enforced mask-wearing and checked every test. We danced the night away with masks on, and we fit in every formality in the reception without a hitch. GROUNDS: Everything was clean and we felt like royalty for a day! I loved the bridal suite and outdoor grounds, where we took lots of pictures. The Somerley has a private entrance and private bathrooms so we felt like the only ones there! FOOD: absolutely incredible!! We had a choice of 10 entrees for dinner and they threw in an exit station with hot pretzels, cookies, and cider. Everyone we spoke to loved their meal! As a vegetarian, I also had a full tummy by the end of the night.

It was almost as if we were thinking about them and then they would magically appear to ask if we needed anything! You are in excellent hands!! The decorations were GORGEOUS and the food was DELICIOUS. Our guests were raving about both! I have to say Fox Hollow’s slogan “Fall in love with the Fox” is an understatement about how we felt about our venue, food, and the staff who made our wedding day spectacular! I’m so happy that I am a Fox Hollow bride!

Matt but, I know he did a lot behind the scenes. Everything ran smooth and we had no hiccups. The room was decorated just the way I wanted it. The Somerley was absolutely exquisite! Everything was absolutely perfect. Me and my husband had the best time. Our Bridal Attendant Kirstin was our absolute favorite. She was friendly and sweet and was always there with a drink. She was attentive and helped bring everything at the end of the night to our car and hotel room. She was wonderful and I’m so glad we had her because she made the whole night just so worry free. They absolutely made my fairytale wedding a reality! Highly recommended!!

He could definitely tell I was crazy and literally said to me, “anything you tell me what you want to happen will happen.” He wasn’t lying. He was so on the ball. If there were any issues during the night I had absolutely no idea. My bridal attendant, Kirsten, was great too. She was helpful all night and always there when I needed her. I’d 100% recommend Fox Hollow.

detail is well thought out- from the layout of the rooms (stunning rustic pink brick wall, glass ceilings, chandeliers, and artistic decor; multiple areas for guests to hang out in, very spacious feel), to the plethora of menu choices, to the decorations and add ons, they supply ever option you could possibly need to make sure your guests are having an amazing time. Our Maitre D Arthur was spectacular. He always made sure everything was running smoothly. He gave us advice when we needed it and listened to all of our concerns and requests with sincerity. Victoria the Bridal Attendant was my hero- always there to help me- from teaching me how to walk without stepping on my skirt to helping safety pin one of my guests back into her dress. The best part is the operations staff, who was literally available for advice every step of the way. The venue provides info sessions and vendor showcases to educate you on your options. I could not have planned this wedding without their help. Also, the Inn at Fox Hollow, their boutique hotel, was perfect for our many out of town guests. Combined with the central location, this truly was the most perfect wedding venue. The best part was that our guests RAVED about how much fun they had. Many people said it was one of the best weddings that they had ever attended!

Both were wonderful people to work with who took care of us and made sure everything ran smoothly all day. They always made sure we had everything we needed and they completely took care of making sure the vendors were all ready to go and our decor was displayed nicely. I never could have imagined it was possible for a wedding to run so smoothly. All my guests were raving about how this was one of the best weddings they have ever been to.

ittle disorganized. My bridal attendant always seemed to have a guilty conscious because her time with my was very divided between something else. (I thought they’re really only supposed to be with you?) the matre d I didn’t see the whole night except for when he was trying to get my new husband out of the cocktail hour and then at the end of the night when he probably wanted his tip. I hate to feel this way. We are typically really laid back people but something didn’t sit right here with me about a few unorganized events. One especially being that when my husband and I walked back down the aisle no one told some of our younger bridal party members when to follow out after us and he followed pretty much right behind us stepping on my veil so much the whole time that eventually my whole head was being pulled back. It really killed the moment. I felt like my matre d dropped the ball on that amongst other things organization wise that could’ve improved my day. Regardless, I’d still choose this venue. I loved the room. I loved the food. My guests had a great time. I just would’ve done more research on who to request to run the show and have my back.

x Hollow has been spectacular. The staff are very accommodating and answer all questions. They reply back to my e-mails promptly and are very friendly and accommodating. We visited the venue 3 times with Bruce. He spend lots of time with us and our families going through all the details we wanted. We never felt rushed or pressured and we always felt welcome (There were 7 of us in his office!). My fiance and I met with Jessica for our menu finalization and she was super accommodating also. She answered all our questions, gave suggestions and even accommodated things quickly over e-mail after the visit. The crew at Volpe restaurant also treated us like family and the food was delicious too. I can't wait for our September wedding because Fox Hollow has the nicest staff and we know we are in good hands.

utely incredible. You MUST ask for him!!! I cannot say enough about how amazing he made our night. He decorated the room so beautifully with the decor that we had given him. He made sure that we were extremely happy the entire night by getting us drinks, food and checking in to see if we needed anything at all. The food was so so delicious! All of our guests said it was the BEST wedding they have ever been to!!

modating, and we met later in the day with Ken. The two rooms he showed us were beautiful, but the size of our guest list fell in an odd count that was too big for one room but too small for another. We felt discouraged, but two co-workers had mentioned that Fox Hollow had a second room that was partially separated from the central area. That room was The Somerley, and after going for a second visit and viewing the room, we were sold. The room was just sooooo beautiful, and it has a lounge area which is optional. The fireplace, mantel, sky windows, and hardwood floors were just so breathtaking. And the best part of The Somerley was that it was a private area. We had our area for outdoor photos, valet parking, and the cocktail room, reception room, and bridal suite were all in their own separate building. The bridal suite was humongous, and that was great for our bridal party of 9 groomsmen, four bridesmaids, and of course the bride and groom. Our maitre’d was Donny, and our bridal attendant was Claudia; both very amazing people. Donny is a stickler for detail and timing, and I appreciate that because I am the same. Even I wanted to adjust some timing here and there, but we had a schedule, and he kept us on it! And the items I wanted he modified it to fit in another part of the schedule which was fine by us because we were running around and tried to make sure everyone had a good time. Claudia was also spectacular and so attentive to details. Anytime I needed her she was right there! She kept us on schedule for photos and outfit changes and she could tell when I needed to change into my flats. I wanted photos in my heels, but she knew, despite me being stubborn in 30-40 degrees at night that my feet could not take that 4.5-inch heels anymore. She went up to the bridal suite and got my flats and even assisted me out of my heels and it was great! My fiancé also changed into more relaxed clothing, and he just discarded his clothing around the bridal suite. By the end of the night Claudia had our things packed and ready to go, and I was amazed and so thankful. We stayed at The Fox Hollow Inn, and they brought our items directly to our room. The assistance and attention were spectacular. Many of our guests raved about the food and wanted a longer cocktail hour. Donny suggested that my fiancé and I eat privately in the bridal suite during cocktail hour and we are so thankful for that. We had a sampling, and it was delicious! The drinks throughout the night were nice and strong which was also great! And just as Donny said we had plenty of food to take home; even yummy cookies and pretzels from our exit station. We are so happy with booking with Fox Hollow, especially The Somerley. I wish I could go back just to look at that beautiful room, enjoy the food and atmosphere, and just party again and longer. I miss it already!

ough our memories of the day. When I say that these two did a phenomenal job, that is simply scratching the surface. Through our every turn and every minute, they were there. From pinning my train to making sure we had enough food, to never having our drinks empty, to the extreme amount of professionalism and friendliness they showed both me and my husband, I truly believe if it was not for them, the night wouldn’t have been as memorable as it was. I recall two specific times where each of them really went above and beyond for Jesse and I. The first being when I was over come with emotion because of a surprise gift from my late grandmother. I went up the the bridal suite and Anna approached me, calmly and so thoughtfully and handed me tissues and spoke to me very softly. The second, when the doors opened for Jesse and I to see the reception hall, Josh walked us in and in that moment of overwhelming gratitude and emotion that Jesse and I shared, I could tell he shared it too by his expression. It was these two very simple yet very human moments that showed how they truly cared for their jobs and for Jesse and I. In the wedding and events business, it is so easy for brides and grooms to become forgotten or a faceless entity, but Josh and Anna made us feel like we were the only two in the world who mattered. I cannot express my overwhelming gratitude towards them and the kindness they showed us. For that, I truly thank the both of them. Beyond just Josh and Anna, the food was REMARKABLE! I have to give the Chef my outstanding compliments because, both Jesse and I having worked in the Food and Beverage industry for some time, as well as attending many weddings in and around the Jericho area, this food was beyond the best that we have had at any event of that size. The Filet was cooked to perfection, the Sea-bass was packed with flavor, and the shrimp were delicious! The Somerely at the Fox Hollow was by far a dream come true, a dream I never knew I had or wanted. I urge anyone who is looking for a venue for their wedding to look into the Fox Hollow and to specifically request Josh as their Matri’d and Anna as their bridal attendant. I highly doubt you will get any two better than this dynamic team. Thank you, Josh, Anna and the team at Fox Hollow! You have made our wedding so much more than we ever thought possible.

concerns with and after meeting with the team we were relieved. I was concerned finding out there were two other wedding going on the same night as mine. Besides only have one valet for us to start (I guess to accommodate the other parties too), I didn’t even know there was anything else going on. Pictures, party goers, there were no interferences. Eventually more people came to assist with our valet. Samir and Meagan were beyond amazing. Meagan took care of everything before we even knew we needed it taken care of. She was extremely attentive, and got anything we needed (including going back to the hotel for things the bridal party left behind). When I was trapped talking to someone for too long, one of them came and whisk me away. She took us to the bridal suite after the ceremony to make sure we had some alone time to eat something, and take it all in. The food was amazing! We had some guests not show due to sickness, and they gave us their food to go. I was calm, relaxed, and comfortable all night. Some guests had severe allergies, and they were accommodating and made sure it was all covered. I highly highly recommended Fox Hollow and both Meagan and Samir, they made a great team!

th. Any time we had a question Jessica Levy responded immediately and thoroughly. Our day of Bridal Attendant was Victoria and we can not praise her enough. She had the challenging task of managing two brides, each in a dress. There were multiple times in the evening that she was carrying two dress trains along with a drink or tray of food at one time. She was patient and on top of her game all night. We are still receiving messages from our guests saying how beautiful everything was.

The day of the wedding my bridal attendant and maitre d were both AWESOME. They couldn't have been kinder or more helpful. Everything was absolutely beautiful and perfect and exactly what I dreamed of. The food was amazing and people literally raved about it. Much much better than your typical wedding food, this food was outstanding. The party went so smoothly, they really know how to put on an event. If I could get married again and again I'd pick Fox Hollow every single time!! Thank you for providing my husband and I with a wedding reception beyond our wildest dreams!!!

Jessica was extremely helpful and responsive in helping us plan our reception and rehearsal dinner and we relied on her so heavily in the weeks leading up to our wedding day. We give the Somerley at Fox Hollow our highest recommendation--we are so thrilled we chose Fox Hollow as the place to host our wedding ceremony and reception!

ce were awesome. We were most pleased that we can make the decision to get married outdoors on a rainy day up to 30 mins prior to ceremony time! All of the guests loved the outdoor ceremony space! It was intimate and elegant which was exactly what we were looking for. Our matre'd Samir was amazing! Since the moment we met him, he made us feel at ease and comfortable. Every time we turned around, whether it be on the dance floor, greeting guests, he was standing there with new drinks in hand! He made wonderful recommendations and made the space even more beautiful than we imagined! The hall worked wonderfully with all of our vendors, one less thing for us to be concerned with. We booked our wedding two years ago and the hall offered menu upgrades free of charge and the event coordinator Jessica was extremely helpful! The guests loved that the hotel was onsite, especially the guests with children. Thanks Fox Hollow for hosting our best day ever!

They were with us and made sure everything went smoothly. Even with little changes they were ready to accommodate and make everything work out well!

the cocktail hour and the dinner. They also just renovated most of the reception rooms, so they are very classy looking- beautiful windows, hardwood floors, and an awesome bridal suite. They were also very affordable for the amount that was included and the look of the place- it was the most affordable option we found in the row of places on Jericho turnpike, and also felt the classiest and the least like a "wedding factory" than the others. If you have a large wedding like I did and need to be aware of your budget, then this is a great place. They also pack up all the extra meals at the end of the night so that you have something to eat later on- and we actually had lunches for the next day! The food was awesome, as well, and we got a lot of compliments on the food and the space. A few things to be aware of: because they do a ton of weddings, it does feel a little impersonal at times. For example, at the end of the night they gave us the top tier of our cake, but wrote my husband's name completely wrong on the lid- Steve instead of John! Also, we were promised an outdoor piece of the cocktail hour and reception, but when everything got going, it was only indoor with no explanation (it wasn't raining or cold). My suggestion is just to be extremely clear about your requests with the staff and maitre d so that they know what to deliver on and what is important for you. I was less specific about my needs and they threw a great wedding, but less personal than I would have wanted. Overall, we got so much included with the price and it was a great time, I would definitely recommend it!

no idea where we needed to be, and everything felt rushed. We had a mini rehearsal 45 minutes before, but only in the bridal suite. This meant we did not see the actual venue where the ceremony would be, and therefore the first bridesmaid didn't go down far enough. The attendant told me (the third bridesmaid) to tell her to move down, after fixing things (such as how I was holding my bouquet) while in view of the ceremony space with all the guests sitting there. The cocktail hour food was A LOT and nothing special; the dinner food was decent, but I've eaten a lot better at other places on Long Island. The most frustrating part for me was at the end of the reception, the bridal attendant came over and told us bridesmaids that we had to get our things out of the suite RIGHT NOW. This meant instead of helping collect things, saying goodbye, and having a relaxing end of the day, we had to rush. Not only that, but it was done in a very rude, short way. She paid a LOT to have her wedding there, there was no need for rudeness from anyone there. Even if there was another wedding right after to be prepared for, that shouldn't mean that HER wedding, party, and guests should be treated rudely since we "had things EVERYWHERE around the room" (which wasn't really true). It left me with a bad taste at the end of the night.

tre D and Claudia, my bridal attendant were amazing. Not once from the moment our limo pulled into the lot to escorting us along with all our gifts and supplies to our hotel suite did we need or want for anything. The Somerley room is stunning and unlike any other wedding venue I have been to. We loved how much room our guests had to roam around and feel comfortable. The sofa/lounge area to the side of the main reception area is such a great addition! We loved that our guests could go off to the side and hang out and still not really be removed from the main event. The food and service were excellent; I still get comments to this day about how good the Viennese Hour was. Our entire reception was perfect and not a single thing went wrong, which people are always surprised to hear! If we were to get married all over again, I would still book the Somerley without a doubt in my mind. Thank you, Fox Hollow for helping me bring my dream wedding to life!

were a pleasure to work with from sales to catering! The catering manager was a pleasure to meet and talk to! The Maitre D' and bridal attendant were also wonderful! They truly made the wedding day perfect. My only hiccup was with my items displayed. I used cardboard to protect paper signs during transportation and they left the cardboard behind the signs. Some of my items didn't make it where they belonged. They also used black table cloths in the entrance room and their flowers in some rooms where i would have preferred they weren't because they did not go with the decor. They also left a Pokemon balloon in the room during the ceremony and reception that I later noticed after guests pointed it out but by then it was too late. Aside from that they were great to work with, maybe you just need to be more specific!

The Fox" we were treated with professionalism by Dave and later by Jessica our wedding planner. Everything went smoothly leading up to the wedding day. Our Bridal Attendant and our Maitre'D Donna were beyond amazing. They kept us relaxed, feed and drinking at all times. The food was fantastic and the ambiance was unbeatable. It was everything we wanted and more. The hotel next door had beautiful rooms and great service. We are so happy that we choose The Fox Hollow as our Wedding Venue and you will be too Guaranteed! Will be back to celebrate our 1 year anniversary in their restaurant called Volpe.

nter garden pavilion and it was beautiful! We didn't miss the outside ceremony one bit! They set up every detail and decoration beautifully. All of my guests loved the food, the gardens, and the ambiance. The cocktail hour, which was done in the Volpe restaurant, was amazing. They threw in a complimentary ice sculpture! My Bridal Attendant Dayana was awesome! She was with me every step of the way and made sure everything was taken care of. The service was incredible! After the wedding, the Inn at the Fox Hollow was equally as great. The bar stayed open until 1 and the room was luxurious. We came back to a rose on our pillows, a bottle of champagne chilling in the refrigerator, and a box of chocolates. The Fox Hollow made our wedding an experience to remember. The only recommendation I have is that they should tell their brides ahead of time that it is recommended to reserve a room for the night before your wedding too, eventhough they give you a comped room for the night of your wedding. It was impossible to get a room after the fact and early check-in was not guaranteed.

Our maitre d and bridal attendant made the entire evening run so smoothly and made it enjoyable, completely stress free. The grounds are beautiful for taking pictures. The service is wonderful and all of our guests have told us how well they were taken care of/how great the service was throughout the entire night. The food was delicious and the seafood boat we had impressed every one of our guests. Every little detail that Fox Hollow puts into making your special day perfect does not go unnoticed. The entire process of booking our wedding, making decisions, and the actual day was made as easy as can be. The day was absolutely perfect and I do not think Fox Hollow could have done anything else to make the day any better than they made it!

, we researched on multiple websites to find the top reviewed maître d’ and bridal attendant. Jessica, the wedding coordinator, was also very friendly and easy to work with. We went over the menu selection and other details with her and supplied our requests for our maître d’ and bridal attendant for our wedding. The Fox Hollow was organized (they were prompt in their responses and provided us with lists and forms), which is essential for a very detail-oriented and organized person like myself. Luckily, we were assigned one of my preferred maître d’s, Josh, and he was also able to request my preferred bridal attendant, Noelia. Josh was easy to work with and very competent. I had taken care of every step and detail of my wedding so it was comforting to know that Josh would be able to take care of the reception without me having to delegate tasks (like coordinating with the vendors). He made us feel very comfortable and was reassuring (a must of an anxious bride!). Noelia was also very easy to work with. She was extremely professional and always knew when I needed her help. The weather forecast called for severe thunderstorms but luckily with the coordination between the Fox Hollow and the vendors, we were able to get our outdoor photos in the garden terrace done before it poured! All the guests said that they were impressed with the cocktail hour, the quality of the food, and the overall reception! We would highly recommend the Fox Hollow as well as Josh and Noelia. They were both very professional and highly competent.

The Somerley is a gorgeous room to begin with, but the history of the Fox Hollow and their expertise in weddings, made this the perfect venue for us. We had peace of mind the day of our wedding as each part of the event was perfectly orchestrated. As Dave, Antonio, and Jessica promised, we were treated like a King and Queen. When we arrived, our placecards and personal touches were all placed exactly as we asked. The tables were set just as I imagined. The cocktail hour room was decorated beautifully as planned. As Victoria fluffed my dress and Samir guided us through the venue, I knew we were in good hands. Our wedding day was seamless and perfect because of the incredible people at the Fox. Our guests are still raving 6 months later about how beautiful the rooms were and how delicious the food was! The space, the service and the food were all spectacular. We would recommend this venue over and over again for weddings and special events. Our guests were also impressed with the accomodations at the Inn at Fox Hollow, just a short walk from the Somerley room. Our honeymoon suite was fabulous too! My husband and I are truly blessed!

que! I was in the Winter Garden Pavilion and my room was breathtaking. Samir (my maitre d) and Noella (my bridal attendant) were there whenever I needed or wanted them! My sister got Samir in the photo booth with us and the attendant said that in eight years that he's been at the Fox Hollow he's never seen Samir get into the photo booth! They treated me like a Queen and my husband like a King and made sure my day ran smoothly! My mom said that she doesn't think anyone there has a mean bone in their body! If I could get married there all over again I would!

t brought us everything we could imagine and made sure we were eating. She came up with me when I needed to use the restroom and even helped make minor alterations to my dress. All of our guests enjoyed themselves and had an amazing evening. The only issue was at 3 am when the fire alarm went off at the hotel and we had to be out of our room for an hour due to an electrical fire in a vacant room. Otherwise the whole night was perfect!

I began the morning of my wedding with a bit of anxiety because of not being able to follow the timeline I scheduled for us and our families but as soon as I arrived at Fox Hollow into the beautiful bridal suite, all those anxieties fell away. The food was great, we got lots of compliments on the cake (Francesco's), and the staff set up all my centerpieces perfectly. I'm so grateful to everyone at Fox Hollow for giving us such an amazing wedding day!

Jessica who booked our final menu. We went over everything with both of them and seemed in good shape. When we went for our final drop off and met our matire d is when my issues began. I asked if there were other weddings and he said he was happy he had our and began making what I consider racist remarks and making fun of the other wedding and how 'these people are bad tippers.' Not only should you not talk this way about other people but talking about tipping and money is certainly a no-no. I am sorry to the other wedding that was going on. I hope you had the best time. There were things missing from our cocktail hour that we spoke of with everyone who at the Fox Hollow up until this point. We brought it up after the cocktail hour because I was busy taking some photos, saying hi to guests, and attempting to eat something. He said he would bring it to me while I ate my meal. At that point I was over it and it would not have went with what I had been eating as my main course. He also got snippy with my mother and then myself after we asked him to add chairs to a table that did not have enough and could certainly fit a few more that we needed. I wasn't asking him to move mountains, so to say! Add a few chairs please. For almost the entire night until we walked out of the venue he continued to talk about the other wedding and making a bit fun of it. Sorry but if you are THAT interested in this wedding go to it. I would have rather had a different maitre d than him. One who cared more about my wedding than the other going on. The venue is beautiful and the room was EXACTLY what I wanted. The food I ate was delicious but I would not want James anywhere near my wedding. I wish that he did not have to get any cut of the money that we were guilted into giving (so to say) from our drop off conversation with him. Would I recommend this venue? I am about 50/50 on that. I wrote a nice letter to the venue about our issues (some of which I did not write here) and have yet to hear back. I felt that enough time was given before I would write my online reviews.

f our night went as smooth as possible. They constantly fed us and always made sure we had a drink in hand! The entire Fox Hollow staff was wonderful, the food was delicious and our guests had an amazing time! The first time we went to see the Fox Hollow, we met with Mike. He was great. Very knowledgeable, sweet and helped us plan the perfect wedding day!!

I met with a jerky salesman who talked to my mom and I like we were children, and showed us photo albums of food in his office, not of the reception or flowers but of strictly food. After he came back he tried to talk process without us even being shown the room yet. When we asked to see the room before discussing money he became extremely annoyed and huffy. While walking us, to what I assumed was the Somerly room, he is talking about how they just re-did the room and its beautiful. We walk into a room that is nothing like the room I requested to see, when I asked about the specific room I made an appointment for I was told that there is a wedding in that room and I was unable to see it, and that the room is booked until 2017, something that I should have been told on the phone. I felt like they lured me into coming to the Fox Hollow knowing that the room I wanted to see would be unavailable, hoping I would fall in love with this bland room that looks nothing like the room I wanted. I would not recommend this venue to anyone, I feel like they are a bunch of conniving salesmen who care only about the dollar. I understand that it is there job to sell you the room, but do not waste my time in allowing me to think that I am coming to see a specific room, which I was told was available. and then when I get there show me a different room, I guess hoping I wouldn't notice. Horrible service and nothing special room wise.

ough they could also go up to the bar. Samir was our Maître D' & he was amazing. I specifically requested him for the wedding after meeting him at another wedding. Samir as well as Carmen, really attended to our every need & made sure the wedding ran smoothly & that everything was beautiful. The Venetian Dessert Hour was amazing. Our wedding cake from Francesco's was the best wedding cake I've ever had. The Winter Garden is absolutely magical when the lights are dimmed & there are millions of candles everywhere! I know I'm biased because it was my wedding, but it was the most beautiful wedding I've ever seen! Now to level set. To get things as beautiful & perfect as they were, required a lot of stress, work, communication, etc. Initially the first meeting was great until we told Bruce that we had to think about it. We were given a nasty attitude & practically pushed out the door. This was the first place we looked at. We were obviously being "sold" so I was nervous making a decision without giving myself at least an hour to think about it. We booked but that treatment was not appropriate. When I started the planning, there were additional issues. It turned out that they have back to back parties, which means you only have 15 minutes to set up cocktail hour & 45 minutes to set up the reception in terms of décor, so it limits what you can do. Also, I found out that they do a "minimalistic design" for the cocktail hour display. This means that even though there is technically plenty of food, it looks like an empty table with chips and cheese on it. This was a huge no-no for me. Every cocktail hour I have seen is always this over-the-top presentation & that's what I was expecting. I also, attended a wedding at the Somerley a few months earlier & the table service they supposedly have & charge an arm & a leg for was nonexistent. Additionally, I wanted to use my own florist, but Mike made the process so difficult, that I ended up going with one of their preferred vendors. It all worked out but I was upset that it seemed they don't really want you using other vendors. I had many phone calls with Mike, as well as emails, mini breakdowns, etc. I know I had very high expectations but this was the most expensive experience I was ever going to have. It had to be perfect. On more than one occasion I felt like I wasn't really a priority. I was throwing a pretty expensive wedding on a Saturday, we also extended the event by an hour, did the Venetian Dessert presentation, & added an Oktoberfest station to cocktail hour. I felt like they should be bending over backwards since I was the main event in that room. Instead they made me feel like I was the cheap insignificant wedding & they had more important events to focus on. HOWVER, in the end, Mike & his team really came through. During the wedding, he came up to us on multiple occasions to make sure we were happy with everything. He made sure the staff really served my guests, so their was excellent table service this time. Set up was organized & turned out great. I think ultimately you have to be a pain to make sure they take you seriously but they also know what they are doing so you have to trust them a bit too. The year leading up to the wedding was stressful & difficult but the day was PERFECT & totally worth it!

Another personal favorite of mine was the cocktail hour, which my husband and I managed to attend. The food was awesome, especially the fresh mozzarella. I highly recommend the Fox Hollow, and in particular, the Somerley room to all couples looking for a venue!

hortly before. I moved across country feeling at ease that I had booked a beautiful venue with a great reputation. We got married in the Garden Terrace Room. The ceremony was right outside which looked absolutely breathtaking. There was a three tier waterfall, beautiful landscaping, it was truly an unforgettable experience. Our guests had easy access to the outside from the reception where they enjoyed cocktails and hand rolled cigars. Everyone raved all night long about the food and the venue. How many weddings have you been to where you have a choice of like 9 entrees…and you can decide the night of!? I can say with confidence that no guest left my wedding hungry or having a bad time. Our maître d’ James was spot on. He was pleasant, accommodating, attentive and very efficient. He laughed and joked with us, so he felt like a guest of the wedding but he did his job well too. He kept us up to speed all night long. He received all of our vendors. He took charge in organizing the ceremony. The day/night went without a hitch…completely perfect. I probably should have brought my bridal attendant Claudia a bridesmaid dress because that’s what she was. Right there all night long, I wanted for nothing. I wanted my bridal party to enjoy the night too and because of her they did! She even helped bring all of our stuff next door to the hotel at the end of the night. I also heard from other guests that the bartenders and wait staff were also very efficient and attentive. Elated is the only word I have to descried how I feel after my wedding…I had a wonderful time and my guests did too. I know its’ due to the fact that The Fox Hollow are professionals and are good at what they do. If theres any advice I can offer its to not skimp on your venue, food, booze or music because those are the things that people really remember from weddings. You’re in good hands at the Fox Hollow.
