I cannot say enough about Marie, the wedding coordinator at the Sons of Italy. I was married on October 1, 2016 and what a success it was!!! I don't think the evening could have ...
been any better!!!!!! The whole entire planning process was painless also. Marie knows her stuff, provides great suggestions and guidance, and truly cares about her clients. Everything is communicated clearly regarding costs, planning, can and cannot's, etc. I was blown away at how beautiful the Bella Room looked when I first laid eyes on it the day of our wedding. Between the beautiful table settings, the Mr. & Mrs. table, the placement of the flower arrangements and the food display. It was so gorgeous and much much more than I ever expected!! The food, a vendor provided by Marie, was fantastic, so much so that people are STILL raving about it!!!! The cake, again, a vendor provided by Marie, was incredibly delicious and beautifully done. I honestly felt that Marie was treating us as if we were her own family, in that she wanted our wedding day to be the best it could be!! We are so happy we chose the Sons of Italy for our wedding. The night went so smoothly, Marie was on point for everything. She prompted us when we were needed, and kept us "on schedule" -- because there are things that need to be done at certain times to make the night go smoothly, and Marie did that perfectly!!! She is a professional and is confident in that. It was one of the best days of our lives. Be totally confident in considering Sons of Italy as your venue and Marie as your coordinator -- you will be happy you did!
We wanted a big wedding without spending a fortune. We were able to bring our own vendors in if we wanted but chose to go with theirs and they were all wonderful. Marie is the coor...
dinator and boy does she know her stuff. She was wonderful to work with and I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a wedding in the area with a big family and doesn't want to go into debt for a wedding. Our final number was 176
Everything went great for our 10/27 wedding. Director/planner was responisve and respectful of my wishes and very accomodating. Beaitiful venue, handicapped accessible
We chose the Sons of Italy in Quincy because we were a bit short on time and they offered a package deal which, for one price per head, included pretty much everything - catering, ...
hall rental, wedding cake, invitations, photographer, DJ, limo, flowers. It made things so much less complicated. The coordinator, Marie, has been there for many years and has carefully picked the vendors she works with. All of the vendors have been working with her for a while and the whole process from start to finish is very smooth. A lot of things, like picking out a cake and invitations, we could take care of by just meeting with Marie. There were only a few vendors we even had to meet ourselves, but Marie was always there to help coordinate and answer questions. Of course not everything we wanted was included in the standard package so we did buy some extras, but overall the cost is very transparent and there were very few hidden costs. The overall cost of the wedding was reasonable and met our very low budget, but was still beautiful. The only thing that really disappointed me was the lack of options for providing guests with alcohol while controlling the cost in advance, but we ended up with a very reasonable bar tab even doing open bar for the whole wedding. Finally, Marie is a great coordinator. Especially as the wedding got closer, she was great at explaining everything that would happen and making us feel more relaxed and less worried about things. On the wedding day she was there every step of the way letting us know what was going on and keeping things moving along. The Sons of Italy in Quincy is not a fancy venue, but we had a great time at our wedding and it was remarkably low-stress due to the one-stop shopping package they offer. For couples on a budget or who are short on time, etc. I would definitely recommend the Quincy Sons of Italy.
