The Soundside Club

Hurlburt Sound Side club is a great all in one place for a wedding and reception. The back side of the club is on the water and has a beautiful tree to get married in front of overlooking the water. The staff at Hurlburt is awesome to work with. Savannah Allen in the front office was very easy to work with. She took the time to show my daughter and I around and how the tables could be arranged for the reception and drew everything out for us; outside set up and inside set up. The large hallway outside the ball room with all the windows is a great place to hold a cocktail hour while pictures are being taken and the reception halls (3 total) can easily hold well over a hundred guests. There is a dock and gazebo where pictures can be taken and a small beach area. The wait staff, bartenders and club manager were AMAZING at my daughter’s wedding. Unfortunately it started raining a little before her wedding time but the duty manager went outside 3 different times and wiped the outside chairs down and when we had a 15/20 minute break in the weather he made sure the seats were dry and we were able to hold the wedding outside as planned. They were very attentive to our needs and we felt went way above to ensure her day was beautiful. The food was very good, large cheese and fruit trays during happy hour and a buffet style reception. It is a very affordable, beautiful venue for a wedding.
