From engagement parties to wedding ceremonies and receptions, the Speed offers uniquely stunning spaces to celebrate in a large or an intimate way.
The museum’s spaces range from the elegantly traditional to the strikingly modern. With an open design and surrounding reflecting pool, the new Atrium is well suited to ceremonies and pre-dinner cocktails, while the newly built Grand Hall features state-of-the-art acoustics that make it ideal for wedding receptions and that first dance as a married couple.
The Speed also offers a variety of inviting outdoor spaces, including our new Art Park adjacent to the North Addition, the Grand Lawn in front of the original 1927 building and the intimate South Courtyard with built-in tiered seating.

from Speed, Marigold catering and the entire team involved from Adrienne down were the most polite and respectable staff I have worked with on event. This one was different since it was our special day. They emphasized the definition to “hustle to help” and “treat them like family” better than anyone ever before.
Everyone made us feel supported, taken care of and made our most important day, PERFECT.
The best part of our event was being able to take a picture with all of our vendors who supported. They treated us better than we could ever ask for.

ibits; for instance, during our wedding, there was a wacky Hunter S. Thompson exhibit that we got to explore with our photographers. Moving on to the staff, top notch. The goal for our day was carefree + easy...the team (Jeffrey, Catherine, and Kellie)pulled this off without a hitch. There were a few tiny fires that they helped put out without me even knowing about them. They were nearly always around ready to answer questions, either from me or my various vendors (side note: they've worked with a TON of vendors in town, so they have a relationship with/are familiar with nearly everyone...meaning, no unfamiliar territory). They were always friendly and knowledgeable. Everything was set up and broken down like clockwork. I cannot say enough good things...because of this team, we were able to enjoy our own wedding like a guest, which is the ultimate goal, right?
The Speed was the perfect venue for our wedding. We had the ceremony and reception here. We had 145 guests and there was still plenty of space for double that without looking empty...
. The venue is stunning and staff is helpful and friendly. The only downside is that you have to use onsite catering which can be pricey but it is convenient having them in one location. The upside is the catering is some of the best in the city. If you have the budget to spend a bit on your catering and venue and looking for a modern venue then this is the place for you.

The food was delicious and they were so helpful through the process even when we had some last minute changes. You won’t be disappointed with having your wedding here. The brand new, gorgeous stage meets the standards of high level party bands. Location is perfect with relation to downtown hotels. Having Wiltshire Pantry as the on-site caterer is a dream come true - top notch food, beverage, staff and service.
