The Spohn Ballroom was an absolutely magical place for our wedding. Our guests still talk about how beautiful the large windows were and how they felt like they were in a snow glob...
e! We had 160 guests, and it didn’t feel cramped at all. The suites were stocked with water and drinks for the groomsmen and bridesmaids, and they were very clean and comfortable. The whole venue is a beautiful historic ballroom that was a perfect backdrop for our special day. We’ll never forget it, thank you Wendy Ott!! You did amazing as our venue manager!

oo. I’m from the area and already knew how amazing Nelson’s chicken is, but so many of my out of town guests said it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had. We loved everything about this venue and Nelson’s team!

ons on other venders. We were allowed to do everything we wanted there and they even let us wait until Monday to clean up after our Saturday wedding. I wouldn't have changed a thing!

y only issues came in dealing with the lady that managed the venue. She was never quite sure who you were; could not recall conversations/promises whether made verbally or via email; and on the day before my wedding she did not show up, as promised, to let us in to decorate. Other than her role in this, everything else about this venue is great!
