l suite, this made it difficult to get ready. I was not impressed with the “service” provided by the venue in regards to staff and their efforts to refill waters etc for guests. this is the place for you. It was so beautiful just in its natural state. We did have draping done by Roxanne Roberson of Randy Ro Entertainment and it was lovely. It's a great place for an outside or inside wedding. Our wedding ceremony was performed outside, and the grounds were perfectly groomed and so beautiful. The staff was great and were always quick to respond to any and all of our questions. Just a wonderful venue all around.

new exactly what was happening from start to finish with zero issues! It truly was a phenomenal venue and everything was gorgeous! Montana was a big help laying out all of the details before we selected everything as well.

ously situated and what a grand entrance for the bride they make. Two generously sized spaces for bride and groom and their parties to get ready and socialize were perfect. Great views of the property from the windows both upstairs and downstairs. Bridal secret staircase was extremely useful for bridesmaids entrance as well as coordinator to go to bridal party with no undue attention. The grazing table was perfect for our 10' grazing board from the Grazing Dallas folks who were fabulously professional and above expectations. Great parking with easy access for our disabled and older guests. We were able to take advantage of the newly instigated additional options when they introduced them in late October. We were so very grateful for the "Day of Coordinator" option who turned out to be Ashley! What an amazing woman. Ashley worked with the bride and groom via personal meeting and then texts/emails to give them exactly the setup and program they desired. With over 900 weddings under her belt, she was a confident and hands on professional the entire day. Ashley helped us understand how to do the ceremony indoors (so much rain and unknown weather) and then quickly and efficiently flip the venue by tweaking a few tables and moving chairs while photographers did their job. I cannot possibly say enough how grateful we were for Ashley's expertise that day. Way more than we ever anticipated. The only disappointment that day was the other "bonus" we chose with the October deal -- the DJ. He had his times mixed up and arrived late. He did not do a sound check and there was a massive 30 second long squeal as he began the music. He did not run the music in the order requested by the couple and really confused the procession because of that. The groom asked him to stay with the program at one point and not talk and ad-lib. He did not change at all. Coordinator asked him to stop talking during music and then FOB did as well. All to no avail. Apparently he might be best suited to a club and not a wedding venue. The only issue we had with any of the vendors and the venue was him. Hoping they get another option there soon. Fabulous venue, fabulous vendor options as well as choosing all our own and we could not be more happy with The Springs Alvarado. Blessed!

y questions we had about just about anything. I could not have asked for a smoother process than the one we had there!

we had regarding the venue. definitely recommend reading the contract- we didn't read ours fully which I'd recommend in general. You have to go through the bartenders they want you to which was a pain because we had one. You also can't drink in the bride and groom's sweet which can be annoying when you're getting ready for your big day.

nd so breath taking. Inside the venue was just as beautiful. The bride and groom suites were perfect for getting ready and jamming out to music before hand. The details in the bride suite include, plenty of seating, extra mirrors for getting ready, cubbies for personal items, private restroom and they have a secret exit for the bride so no one sees you until the very last second. The staff was so friendly and always made us feel like someone was always there to help. This was truly my dream venue!

slice of heaven truly gives you the gorgeous and private space you need to have a perfect wedding! My guests’ jaws all literally dropped at this location when they walked in. It requires almost no decoration to make an impressive appearance (which you will appreciate as you’re planning your wedding décor, trust me)! On top of that, the venue has some amazing furniture rental items. There is plenty of space for parking and for the wedding party and vendors to spread out and work efficiently! I am sincerely grateful that I got to spend the most incredible day of my life here. If I could do it all over again, I would choose The Springs Alvarado EVERY single time.

and they were very helpful and reasonable about telling me what I needed to do and that it was okay and not to be stressed. Very sweet girls.

with. We were able to move a few tables with no problem the morning of the wedding to make it more workable for what we wanted. They have a complete website that answered most of our size/length questions without us having to go measure. The entire experience was top-notch and we would be happy to work with this staff and venue again!

drainage in the bridal suite but my handy brother had that flowing in no time. Other than that I would highly recommend.

I had planned on having my ceremony outside, but I last minute moved it indoors because of the summer heat. The staff was very helpful at making this happen, and it wasn’t complicated at all to flip the room during cocktail hour. The outdoor area was still beautiful for all my pictures that day. I loved having my wedding here!

I would definitely recommend this wonderful and beautiful establishment to any newly engaged couple! Worth every penny! Seriously y’all! The service and the atmosphere is unbeatable and I honestly don’t think you’ll find it anywhere else! It’s the definition on Texas Hospitality!

to mask its beauty. I also loved that we could have the ceremony in the same spot as the reception. And that they allowed dogs and 95% of your vendors you could choose yourself (just had to use their ice guy, security, and bartenders). But getting to choose your own vendors is a huge relief as you can budget easier this way. They included furniture setup and take down which was a huge relief for us too because I was worried with the timeframe of 9am-11pm on the day of...but it was perfect! Also all the ladies there are SUPER helpful and very responsive. I appreciated that they didn't mind my constant questions. My ONLY complaint was that the reception hall did get pretty warm and we were told we couldn't go below 70 degrees in the building. This is understandable but also being a sweating bride wasn't the most fun. I found myself outside cooling off quite a bit since it was nice out (about 50 degrees)..we asked to leave the doors open too but unfortunately that wasn't allowed. I would totally have my wedding again here if I had to! I would just choose winter again for the AC reason :)

as still incredible! The lodge was warm and spacious and had all you needed for caterers and seating! Our guests could not stop talking about how beautiful the venue was! Also the grooms and bridal suites were very spacious and incredible for us to get ready in! Would definitely recommend giving this venue a look!
