The Squibb House

The Squibb House is a historic wedding venue nestled along the Atlantic Ocean in Cambria, CA. This home has been fully restored in order to capture the tranquility and charm of the late 1800s. It is situated adjacent to the Black Barn B&B and within walking distance to numerous galleries, restaurants, and shops. With its exquisite design and thoughtful details, this venue lets guests step back in time to experience a slower, and more serene, way of life. Couples who rent The Squibb House for their special day will find a beautiful setting both inside and out. During their celebration they can relax in the main parlor, enjoy cocktails out in the garden, or sit on the porch in a rocker. Each room is outfitted with antique furnishings that add to the retro and romantic ambiance. The garden is set with a brick and stone patio where ceremonies can be held surrounded by manicured hedges and a tall fence. The Squibb House has several tastefully equipped rooms for overnight accommodations, and more are available at The Black Barn. This bed and breakfast was built in the 1870s and has been renovated by the original owner’s great-great-grandson. It now features exposed wood beams, wide plank floors, custom-built Amish furniture, and large windows that let in plenty of natural light. Weddings at this unique venue come with an in-house planner who will work closely with couples to create their dream days. A local vendor crew will also be available to assist with catering, decorations, photography, entertainment, and more. The venue can host rehearsal dinners, ceremonies, receptions, and day-after brunches, or make recommendations for places in town where these events can take place.
