The Stables at Windy Point provide a beautiful and versatile space for celebrations of up to 300 guests. The 5,400 square foot main hall, built with hand-cut white maple, provides a spacious and elegant setting for your reception. It includes a 30-foot rustic full-service bar , complete place settings, tables and chairs, unique slab tables, and Jack Daniels barrels for added charm. Enjoy the beautifully maintained grounds, which offer a variety of scenic backdrops for your ceremony and photos. They also include a secluded waterfront, open fields, and wooded areas. The private get-ready suite provides a tranquil space for getting ready, taking photos, and storing belongings. Then, you will find that the main hall and restrooms are ADA-compliant and offer amenities such as changing tables, high chairs, and booster seats.
At The Stables at Windy Point, the dedicated staff will meet with you three weeks prior to your event to finalize the details and create a personalized floor plan. They also welcome insured and Board of Health-certified caterers and provide a well-equipped prep kitchen for their convenience, including an industrial sink, refrigerator, ample workspace, and a private entrance. tself breathtakingly beautiful with its gorgeous chandeliers, high ceilings, wood walls and magnificent bar, it had a well-appointed bridal room right off the ladies’ room that was just perfect for the wedding party to gather and get ready and store their belongings during the event. The wonderful front entrance way and back patio facing the river really add to this already spectacular place. Both of these spots were well utilized during our event. We had numerous comments from our guests about how amazing the place was! Of course, we totally agreed with them!
I could go on and on about the venue itself but in the end, it’s all about the people behind the venue. Jess, Michele, Nick and Jim Sheehan all played a part in making our day very special. They were all easy to work with, accommodated our every wish and communications was great. Jess is a very talented lady with lots of event experience. She had great suggestions regarding layout and decor, all of which we accepted. Her guidance was a big help to us! They are a good team and all worked very hard to make sure everything was covered. We could tell they
wanted our event to be as wonderful as we did! What more could we ask for!
Our daughter’s ceremony was down by the river then flowed to a cocktail party on the patio and from there, dinner inside. They had everything set up perfectly for our 180 guests and Michele was on site for the whole event making sure everything went according to plan, which it did!
In the end, we are so happy that we choose to have our event at The Stables at Windy Point. The Sheehan’s far exceeded our expectations on every aspect of our event and for this, we cannot thank them enough! Our only wish is that we could do it all over again!
