Marielly and Janelle made me feel so comfortable and confident at my trial and were open and responsive to feedback and follow-up questions I had about my own look as well as questions my girls wanted to ask. On my wedding day, my bridesmaids, mom, and I got ready at the pink salon. The space is bright, airy, and full of cute spots for photos. Marielly and Janelle gave each of my girls the same VIP treatment they gave me at my trial and they kept us on time to ensure the rest of the day went smoothly. My group ranged widely in terms of needs (we had hair that was curly, straight, thick, and thin and girls who ranged from wearing little to no makeup regularly to girls who regularly go full glam and wanted bright and colorful looks), and each girl ended up with a look that was perfect for them! Our hair and makeup lasted all night long! While the final product was impressive, what stands out the most to me about working with The Stately Rose was how they made me feel. Every question or concern I had was treated as important (no matter how small) in the lead-up to the day. In the salon, Marielly and Janelle created a positive, fun, relaxed, and empowering environment. They were the ultimate hype-women all morning and they really set the tone for the day moving forward. It was especially meaningful to me how much care our team took in accommodating health and safety concerns among my party; requests we made to keep those with compromised immune systems or allergies comfortable and safe were made without hesitation. We all left the salon to start the rest of the busy and stressful day feeling like our best selves. I could not have asked for a better glam team and I’d recommend The Stately Rose to any bride-to-be without hesitation!

Johanna listened carefully to my vision and executed it perfectly. The makeup was flawless, and the hairstyle stayed in place all day without feeling heavy or uncomfortable. and somehow managed to stumble upon The Stately Rose's Facebook and sent them a message seeing if there was anyway they would make the trip from CT to VT for our September 2024 wedding. I was shocked when they said that was no problem and had them booked within a day or two of my original inquiry and conversation with Johanna. I had a lot on my plate this summer between wedding planning and building a house that I emailed them quite a bit with different questions I was nervous about and trying to ensure the right team for my girls and I. They never once were short with me or didn't respond to anything. Now, I have no idea why I was nervous about hiring an out of state vendor because it was PERFECT. I even drove down to CT to get my makeup trial done and the salon is so welcoming and decorated so cute. I ended up having Mari and Lada for our MUAs that day and they were perfect and a HUGE part of what made our wedding day so successful. It truly felt like just hanging out with your friends getting your makeup done. They chatted with everyone, listened to music with us and were just a huge part in making the day what it was. Everyone loved their makeup and it looked SO good and lasted all day. I even changed my look up a little bit from my trial and Mari nailed the look I was going for. I would hire The Stately Rose again and again and wish they weren't so far away from my house so I could get glammed by them for all future events! My girls and I had the absolute best time with them!

ll the assistants they brought for my larger-than-average bridal party. My makeup was exactly what I envisioned, and I am about as picky as it gets. The trial was so helpful, as I could tweak as we went and made sure it was what I wanted. Day of, Jo made little adjustments as I needed, and the result was perfect. Janelle, my queen, gave me the curls of my dreams and kept me calm all morning. My bridal party looked stunning. My MOM looked stunning, and that made me SO happy. In a shocking turn events, after I had bawled my eyes out several times over the course of the evening, my makeup stayed put until I took it off after the AFTER PARTY at 2 am. h word of mouth. From the initial booking through the wedding trial and coordinating on the day of my wedding, the team at Stately Rose were wonderful to work with. They reserved the whole studio for myself and my bridesmaids the morning of my wedding, from 8:30 to 1:00pm, did the most beautiful hair and make up for all TEN of us, gave each of us the most beautiful and natural looks, that lasted literally all day through tears and still looked amazing - and the cost was very competitive. I'd recommend following their social media for inspiration before your day - it's where we got all of our ideas from! 10000000/10, would highly recommend!
