The Steam Plant team was incredible! From the original tour to several family tours and day of help, could not have had a better experience. The location is beautiful, the staff is...
great & the setup is truly unmatched. I cannot say enough good things about this place. Between the ballroom, the side garden, and the getting ready suites, you cannot go wrong with this beautiful place!
WOW! Truly the best wedding day ever. The Steam Plant had the kindest, most accommodating team to work with. They partner with Elite catering who we would also highly recommend. My...
wife and I only used the bridal suite to get ready together, which was perfect and plenty of room for all of us to fit. Highly recommend this venue!
The venue was absolutely beautiful but very disappointed with our experience at this venue. While the owner or head of the company did reach out afterward to try and make things ri...
ght, it doesn’t change the fact that the day-of experience was stressful and disappointing. Many promises made during planning weren’t followed through, key setup details were missed, staff support was lacking, and communication was poor. We ended up doing much of the work ourselves. Some staff were kind, but the overall lack of coordination made the day far more difficult than it should have been. Would not recommend based on our experience.
The Steam Plant is gorgeous and was such a wonderful venue for our wedding. We have nothing but great things to say about them. Wish I could get married here again, it was amazing
There are so many good things to say about the Steam Plant. First of all, the venue itself is STUNNING. They did an amazing job restoring this property. There are so many photo opp...
ortunities and having a gigantic bridal suite made the morning so easy. Not to mention the boys were able to shower 30min before photos so they were all clean and ready to go. It is truly the little details throughout this property that make it so special. You can have an entirely indoor wedding or a mixture of both. It’s less than a mile away from two hotels allowing for guests to access the property very easily. There is parking ***just make sure to not leave your car in the gated section overnight*** the spots behind are fine for overnight parking, just not the gated. They are partnered/owned with/by Elite Catering which is another amazing company to work with. Their food options are above and beyond, so many to pick from, and the food itself received SO MANY compliments from our guests. We had a few snafus (due to mistakes on our end) and everyone we dealt with at the steam plant were extremely nice and accommodating. We interacted with Lisa, Molly, and Rachel and they were all lovely. Again, I could talk about this venue for hours. It’s one of a kind and played a major part in the wedding memories we will have forever. Thank you all so much.
We had our wedding at The Steam Plant in September 2023. Everything about planning and the day of were spectacular!

tions for a ceremony + reception at this venue. We got married outside and had our cocktail hour downstairs. There's so many options!
Brides - the bridal suite is spacious and has everything you need for yourself and bridesmaids.
Grooms - the locker-room downstairs is an ideal place for the gents to relax before go-time!
Lisa and her team were a dream - they were very responsive to questions and helped us A TON with finding all our vendors. LOVE THIS VENUE!

Our daughter had her dream wedding at The Steam Plant. She searched venues in Dayton and Columbus and couldn’t be happier with the beautiful Steam Plant. The design and details in...
decor were first class. We were welcomed when we arrived in the morning by the owner and he was very helpful. The bridal sweet was a dream and even had working salon chairs. Iced champagne was waiting for us. The men’s locker room is amazing with beautiful wood lockers and a large screen TV. Two of our vendors shared that her wedding was the most beautiful wedding they ever worked. Our family has been in the Dayton area for five generations and the groom’s family traveled from Pittsburg. The venue is close to two nice Marriott hotels and great dining and night life for rehearsal dinner and welcome reception. Thank you to the Riazzi family and the Steam Plant for making our daughter’s day perfect and reminding us that “it’s great in Dayton”.

tails to make the event seemingly effortless. We deliberately chose to have minimal decorations to not take away from the rustic beauty of the hall. There was even a chance for rain on the day of the event, but the team made it work last minute keeping our vision to utilize their outdoor space for cocktails! We were so happy with the overall event and would highly recommend this team and event space for any of your needs!
This venue had my heart the moment I walked in for our tour. Lisa and her team at the Steam Plant are a bunch of sweethearts that have made it their mission to solve any hassle on ...
your wedding day. We opted in for the suite and the locker room, which were a dream. There was so much space to have hair and makeup and food – with space to still relax. My bridal party still jokes that it’s crazy we had a wedding after getting ready because that part of the process was so much fun. The venue is gorgeous everywhere you look and I had so much fun peering over the balcony from the suite to watch everything come together. I had so many people tell me how gorgeous the venue was throughout the day and I couldn’t have been happier with this decision. It was an honor to get married at the Steam Plant, and I would recommend it a million times over!
The Steam Plant is one of the most beautiful venues in Ohio! It is both industrial and modern, yet feels very warm at the same time. Lisa, who runs the Steam Plant, is phenomenal, ...
as is her whole team. She responds quickly, kept us on schedule, and made sure that I didn't have to worry about a single thing on the wedding day. Additionally, the bridal and groom suites are well worth the cost. The bridal suite is bright and provided great light for getting ready while the groom's locker room gave my husband and his groomsmen a fun place for them to relax and get ready. All of our guests loved the venue as well.
My wife and I knew exactly where we wanted to have our wedding when we became engaged in March 2020 and had our wedding date booked at The Steam Plant less than a week later. Lisa ...
Beam and her team were nothing short of incredible from Day One and were truly a guiding light for us through our wedding planning journey. Lisa worked so well with all of our vendors and assisted in bringing it all together when our big day finally arrived. The end result was unlike anything we could have imagined and The Steam Plant became such an amazingly special space to host our wedding we had been waiting two years for. Lisa was so kind and professional and we cannot thank her and The Steam Plant family enough for everything that made our wedding unforgettable.
The Steam Plant is a gorgeous venue! So many of our guest marveled at the space. They have seriously thought of everything. The bridal suite and grooms locker rooms are amazing. My...
husband and I had large bridal parties and they were perfect spaces for us to get ready.
However there are many beautiful venues in and around Dayton--what really sets The Steam Plant apart are the people that work there. During the planning process all of our questions were promptly answered and they helped us countless times figuring out details of our wedding. They are seriously some of the most helpful people that we worked with during our wedding planning process. Even on or wedding day they made sure everything was perfect. You cannot not go wrong with having your wedding or event at The Steam Plant.
We fell in love with the Steam Plant the second we toured the venue. It was the first and last tour in our search. It has such a natural beauty, that I felt that I didn’t have to g...
o over the top to decorate the space. The on-site getting ready spaces offers everything you could need, and truly makes it a one stop shop.
Our guests are still raving about how beautiful and functional the Steam plant was. My dream wedding became a reality here.
The venue is a bit more costly than others, but is 100% worth it if you can afford it. Pictures do not do this space justice.

d gents, the venue is beautiful, and you can save $$$ by bringing in your own alcohol. It's a unique building that is great for any kind of event from casual to formal.
I greatly appreciated the guidance and flexibility they provided through the whole process. Last minute questions were addressed right away. Everything was exactly as promised. I've never planned a wedding before. I'm glad I had the Steam Plant crew to help me!
The Steam Plant was everything we dreamed of for our wedding venue, and it was even better in the winter because they decorate for Christmas!

helpful and so welcoming. She offered constant support and provided sample photos, up to date health and safety info and more, sometimes without us even having to ask!
If you’re looking for a venue for both your wedding and reception, this is the perfect spot. They are experts at a room flip! We were so sad to see our wedding day come to an end because this venue made it so beautiful!

s and made the planning for our wedding from across the U.S., stress free. A huge thank you to Lisa and the staff at The Steam Plant!
This venue was exactly what we were looking for in our venue – modern, has its own character so it wouldn’t need much décor besides personal touches, and an open space for our fami...
ly & friends to gather and celebrate. The space is very versatile, and you can really make it how you envision it. The Steam Plant team was understanding in our need to reschedule our 2020 date to 2021 due to the craziness of what was 2020. Lisa made sure to not only work with us but work with our wedding planner as well to make sure things were coordinated and made sense for the big day. The Steam Plant team along with our vendors made sure the transition from an indoors ceremony to an outdoors cocktail then back to an indoors reception went flawlessly. We are happy with how everything turned out at the venue, especially the spaces we got to utilize. We highly recommend checking out the bridal suite and the man cave for use before the celebrations. The Steam Plant was the perfect place for us to celebrate becoming Mr. & Mrs.
We went to tour the venue for our wedding. Unfortunately we felt like we were turned away and that they weren't interested in hosting our event. We talked about some of the things ...
we needed to have a multicultural wedding and the coordinator seemed put off. Overall she was disinterested in our business and actually recommended us to go somewhere else. The venue is gorgeous however the staff running it... not so much.

h and that is where or ceremony was so it was perfect. We definitely had to save up money in order to book this venue, it's extremely expensive. Lisa is AMAZING to work with! She responds so quickly to my 100s of emails and questions I asked during the planning process and met me whenever I requested. Because this place is run by professionals it is a well oiled machine on wedding day. They do this 2-3 times a weekend so I didn't have to worry about a thing come my wedding day. Even through COVID I had the wedding of my dreams and best day of our lives! If you can afford it, The Steam Plant is a dream come true for a wedding venue!!

n different floors of the venue, so your chance to see each other before you intend to is limited. The natural lighting in the venue provides for some incredible pictures, and the space is simple enough that decorations aren't necessary to be the big expense that they normally are. Lisa was absolutely wonderful to work with, and so so helpful in guiding us through rescheduling our big day, and navigating the COVID guidelines! The Steam Plant was the best decision we made for our Wedding Day. I am so glad that was the space we chose!
We came to the Steam Plant a month before when our wedding was scheduled. Our other venue cancelled on us a month before our wedding was supposed to take place. The Steam Plant had...
an opening the same weekend as our original date. They assured us everything was going to happen as normally as possible while still being safe in the midst of the pandemic. We had a lovely wedding! We also had 150 guests. With the precautions taken by the venue and the other vendors we have not had any guests report that they have gotten covid (it's been almost 3 weeks since our wedding). Highly recommend!
The Steam Plant is a beautiful venue! I love that it is part of Dayton's revitalization. However, the management was challenging to work with. Planning a wedding during pandemic is...
challenging in and of it's self but the management at The Steam Plant added additional stress with miscommunication throughout the process and even on the day of the wedding. I am so glad I had my wedding at The Steam Plant but hope that they are able to work with their couples more effectively and efficiently in the future.
great!

e wedding planning process. The venue is unreal and we got so many compliments on what a awesome space it is. It was wonderful have the bridal suit and grooms lounge to get ready in prior to the wedding. There are also so many great spaces/windows to take photos! We loved having a designated space for the cocktail hour and the team quickly and efficiently flipped the room from the ceremony to the reception. From set up, to clean up someone was on site making sure everything went smoothly. Overall, it is a beautiful venue with an outstanding team that made it the best day ever! We highly recommend!

It's spacious with tons of natural lighting and comfortable seating. A great place to relax leading up to the big moment. We absolutely loved everything about The Steam Plant and our guests are still raving about the venue two months later!!
