tographer backed out on me last minute. I was a little stressed about it and wanted to find someone ASAP and I found Kaitlin. She was really flexible and didn't seem worried at all that we only had a month to get all the details worked out.
The thing that I was most worried about was we never got to meet in person due to scheduling issues and we only got to talk on the phone a few times. Everything turned out amazing! She was very good at making me feel confident about the entire day and the way our pictures were going to turn out. Another thing I was worried about was the timing of the whole day and she helped me immensely. She had a whole timeline written our for me that worked perfectly. You could tell that she had done this more then a few times.
One of the things I liked the most was that a 2nd photographer was included in the price/package. It was really nice being able to have different views of the same picture. It was also nice having one with the guys and one with the girls while we were all getting ready. She was also great at listening to what I wanted and didn't want and stuck to it. She truly cares about your wants and needs on your wedding day.
We got all of our pictures about a month after the wedding which was awesome. I expected to wait a lot longer. She put all of our pictures online for us to view, share, or order. She also sent us a flash drive with all of our pictures so we could go wherever we wanted to get them printed. It was a lot easier for our families to get pictures this way as well. All of our pictures were so good! I've only had compliments about them and we've had a really hard time trying to pick which ones to print. She also included white and black and colored copies of every picture.
Kaitlin is extremely professional, kind, easy to work with, and confident in her business. I would highly recommend her to any family or friends and I hope that I'll get the chance to work with her again.

My biggest fear when the time came to hire a photographer was how important photos are. After your wedding day is over, the cake gets eaten and the flowers will die, but the photographs you will always have to remember that day. I was really worried that little moments from that day would be lost and I would eventually forget. I knew I needed to hire someone who knew the little moments I wanted captured. After Kaitlin and I chatted on Skype, I knew I had to use her. She knows there is so much more behind a picture than what you see. The feelings and thoughts are what I wanted captured, and when I received my edited wedding photos, I was far from disappointed. She captured small moments that I didn't even know she was there for.
She was much more than a photographer. She was so helpful at answering other questions about the wedding as well. She was so kind to my wedding party and family and made the day much less stressful.
When it comes time for my best friend to get married, I wouldn't recommend anyone else but Kaitlin. She will give you the gift of memories, and that is something that I can't put a price on.

This was the case with Kaitlin, she's warm, friendly and although very professional and knowledgeable, never made us feel like our opinions or suggestions didn’t' matter. She answered every phone call, every email and was very flexible. Her pricing is extremely reasonable, and when we saw our pictures we knew our investment was a well made one. Her turnaround in delivering the pictures is exactly what she promisses in the contract, and it's very fast and professional. We would absolutely recommend her.
She met with us before the wedding to look at the venue and also ask questions, which then translated into the pictures being exactly what we wanted. I might add we had a great time with her too! We got compliments on our choice of photographer from family and friends who appreciated she wasn't a pushy or bossy photographer like some can be. I believe she's a story teller at heart because her pictures do just that tell the story of the couple and their day in a very unique way.

She did a very thorough job, and took wonderful pictures not only of the main events but of all the small details along the way, including my jewelry, our rings, and our place settings and favors. I'm so glad that she did -- we were so busy running around that day that we didn't even get to see some of those details ourselves! She took pictures from so many different angles and settings that it's hard to believe she works alone! Kaitlin always responded quickly to phone calls and emails, met with us for over an hour before our wedding to make sure we were on the same page (we really hit it off here!), was very open to suggestions about the kinds of pictures we wanted, and sent us thousands of beautiful pictures to choose from, in color and in black and white. We own the rights to all of our photos, so we're free to print and copy them as we choose! We love the flexibility that gives us, and we can't wait to start working on our albums -- so many amazing pictures to choose from! Definitely consider Kaitlin Colston for your wedding photography -- we're so glad we did! :)

for me. I called her and we set up a time to meet and everything fell into place shortly after that. She did our engagement photos as well as our wedding photos- both turned out amazing. Kaitlin truly captured every moment on our special day. She is very professional and super sweet and made my husband and I feel comfortable. I can honestly say that my wedding pictures are phenomenal . . . not just because they are my wedding photos, but because Kaitlin knew how to capture the special moments on camera. The photos are professional and clean and are not "fake" - by fake, I'm talking about the photographers that edit every little detail to where the photo doesn't even look like you anymore.
