Out of all the wedding planning elements, I found the floral arrangements to be the most intimidating, as I don’t consider myself particularly creative in that area, and I really didn’t have a lot to contribute to the conversation. The only thing I knew I wanted when it came to flowers was for there to be a lot of texture; almost a “messy” look. But I wasn’t sure if I was conveying that thought in the best way. However, Cactus Flower Florists made the process seamless and (as is a trend with the vendors I chose for my wedding) they far exceeded anything I pictured in my head. All I had to do was send Corrina and Dani the mood board created by my wedding planner, and they took it from there, transforming my ideas into a breathtaking reality. Every detail was executed perfectly, and the florals and greenery were absolutely stunning. When the staff got onsite, they were a well-oiled machine. The bud vases dispersed throughout the reception area were the simplest, yet perfect touch. The pocket boutonnières for the groomsmen and fathers were perfect, and the corsages for the mothers were flawless. They even added some special personal touches that meant a lot to me - including making the wristlets out of pearls; a nod to my late grandmother. I was so in love with my bouquet that when I sent it off to be pressed and preserved, I felt a little heartbroken to part with such a beautiful piece. My bouquet was a deep reddish black set of roses along with my maid of honor and bridesmaids, while my groom and his groomsmen were provided white boutonnieres. She put together an invoice to fit my budget and seasonal flowers to offset the cost of the expensive succulents. My MIL picked up the pieces which Corrina’s team had ready before the scheduled pickup time. Corrina was awesome to work with and was always flexible with my changes. Our wedding was at the Sanctuary, Paradise Valley it was on May 6th, flowers stayed out all day, we drove them back to Colorado and they are still fresh in their vase! Today is May 11th. many florists do have minimum orders. Not the case with Cactus Flower, and still exceptional service and attention considering our simple order! My bridal bouquet turned out beautiful--I provided Corrina with a few photos for inspiration, and she helped me nail down which flowers and accompanying greens to include. I was considering adding succulents and Corrina and I worked through a few options, eventually deciding against. It's very easy to upsell every bride and groom and I didn't feel pressured to up the tab or include something that wouldn't look elegant. They also prepared our flower girl basket which turned out beautiful! Unfortunately, it was forgotten in the delivery so my husband had to drive to pick it up the morning of the wedding from their Scottsdale location. It would have been nice to see Lisa + staff make more effort to re-deliver, but they were not able to send the truck back out in a timeframe that worked for us. That is my only gripe and overall I was so pleased with the quality of my bouquet!

hen they were worried about doing a floral crown for my daughter's wedding, I knew it was the wrong choice. I decided on Cactus Flower because it was nearby, and I'd driven past their gorgeous shop for years. As soon as I walked into Cactus Flower, I knew I'd made the right decision. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Corrina Chavez is the events coordinator, and what a gem she is. I took in pictures of bridal bouquets that we saw on Pinterest, and after discussing our Scottish theme, immediately she knew exactly what flowers to put together to make the most beautiful bouquet ever. She was such a pleasure to work with, and we had such a great time. When my daughter flew into town from Scotland and we sat down with Corrina, she was so pleased with the results and thrilled with everything. She absolutely loved the floral crown and wore it for the next 3 days. The flowers were delivered exactly on time in beautiful vases filled with water to keep them fresh. It couldn't have been a better night, and I want to thank Cactus Flower and Corrina for making it a spectacular night.

I think the best part was she contacted me to let me know the week of the wedding that they were starting work on our flowers. Unfortunately, one of the flowers we had selected was not available, but it was so nice to know ahead of time so there were no surprises or disappoints the day of the wedding. Also Corrina texted me pictures of all the bouquets the day before the make sure I was happy with everything.
