The Studio I Do

I wish I could give Gene & Sam a 10.0/5.0 for overall rating! They were incredible!! Book them now. We hired Gene as photographer as well as DJ for our wedding day. First off, we had engagement pictures. Gene asked me to send him ideas that I wanted to be sure we got. I sent him a lot of ideas and when we showed up for our session, Gene had them memorized! He coordinated our session and told us how to pose and where. Then we got all the edits within a week! There wasn't a single one (of 600) we didn't like. After that we could not wait for our wedding day because we knew he'd be just as efficient then too. Gene and Sam were fantastic. We got all the images that I wanted for our wedding day and some that we never would have thought of!! We've had numerous compliments on our reception as well. Gene and Sam kept the crowd entertained and caught some great pictures of the crowd! I HIGHLY recommend them to everyone. Why get a separate DJ and photographer when you can get both in the same package with the best photographer in the Sioux Falls area! :) The best part for me was that he doesn't put his name across the whole photo and you get full printing rights. I didn't want a photographer that ruins my photo by putting their name across the whole image or an entire corner. Gene is personable, funny, organized, professional, and a great photographer. Hire The Studio I DO, you won't be disappointed!

Gene is wonderful! I am not comfortable in front of a camera, but Gene made it easy. The pictures are gorgeous and he caters to the bride. If I suddenly said I wanted a certain photo, he was on board immediately. He was so professional and fun! And his assistant Sam was also great! He worked with the bridal party a lot throughout the day and they all said they had a blast. Sam was so kind to me and made sure that I was happy. Gene really caters to his bride and delivers a beautiful end product.

Gene was really easy to work with and our pictures came out great! We got a nice variety of pictures and were very happy with his work.

Gene and his assistant had great attitudes on wedding day and were willing to try many different types of pictures asked of him. The projected turn around/editing time post wedding was supposes to be 4-6 weeks. However, by week 9 they. Upon reviewing the pictures, I noticed he focused most of his editing on background contrast which showed NO detail of the dress, flowers and tuxes. There were many pictures with very unusual poses, he was not directing us or giving ideas of areas to take pictures. We kind of walked around and took a few, walked a little more and snapped a couple along the way. Also, as stated in my photography contract, I was to get a free canvas of my choosing included in the booking price. I have emailed Gene directly multiple times and there has been no response. Overall, he had a good attitude day of, I wished I would have spent my money with someone else.

We had a great day with Gene! He was very easy to work with, and he was willing to try our ideas from Pinterest! We are excited to see our pictures soon! We will be passing your name on to our family and friends!

Gene was great! We had a lot of fun doing engagement photos and wedding photos with him! We had a great time with our pictures!

Gene was an amazing photographer! He made pictures fun and he was there for every little candid moment too! I know our pictures are going to be amazing and I can't wait to see them!
