The Sugar Cube Bar is a mobile bartending company based in Richmond, VA, that caters to weddings, parties, and special events. Our business operates out of a restored 1974 vintage horse trailer as well as a 1960’s vintage Shasta camper which we have transformed into a chic traveling bar. Our mobile bar business offers a sophisticated and stylish beverage experience that is sure to impress your guests.

Several bar and beverage packages are available at The Sugar Cube Bar. To avail of a specific package, you'll need to provide your own alcohol for the day. The bartenders will take care of the rest, from mixing drinks and adding garnishes to providing ice and mixers. We will even help you order the right quantities of alcohol for your guest list and drinks menu. Non-alcoholic options such as coffee and hot chocolate stations are also available.

nd helpful people running it, and way more affordable than other services we looked at! Being able to buy our own alcohol saved us lot of money as well (Costco!). Throughout the process, Madison was very helpful sending recipes and being flexible. She allowed us to do three signature cocktails instead of their classic two, and use our own frosted cups for one of them! She was also able to revise our purchase list when we thought we would need more alcohol for our guests. I think we ended up buying a little more and we went through most of it! I think the only hiccup - the bar line seemed super long on our wedding day (unsure how fast or slow it was moving). We had 122 guests and 2 bartenders - might just need more bartenders for the day of with a higher guest count. Otherwise, everything was perfect! We couldn’t have asked for more.

re that traditional bar tender before a plain old bar, I'm telling you go this route! Not only are you going to love it, but your guests won't stop posting pictures of it and the handmade cocktails! She also has a curated list of cocktails, but is 100% open to different ones - she worked with me to make sure I was getting the ones that were best for me and my guests. I didn't realize until after talking to other brides, how comforting and convenient (and honestly, just a sigh of relief) it was to literally not have to worry about anything else but buying the alcohol. They took care of the mixers, drinkware, garnishes, EVERYTHING!

ple so I wanted the reception the following year to be amazing- the Sugar Cube definitely delivered! The trailer itself is adorable and the decor fit my vibe perfectly. The trailer became a highlight of our cocktail hour pictures. As far as drinks go, many of the guests said the hot chocolate was the best they've ever had and the cocktails were on point (and I have high standards for Old Fashioneds!) We had people sprinting off the dance floor at last call to get another round of drinks before the Sugar Cube left. Highly recommend (although I almost don't want them to be booked solid for any future parties I may host). Seriously, they're that good.
