up ordering three for our wedding! 2020 did its thing and we actually ended up with 1 on our original wedding date, 3 on our new ceremony date, and we're going to have another 3 at our reception next year. Finally, our tasting experience at her studio was phenomenal and was one of my husband’s favorite part of the entire wedding planning process. We are hoping our friends use Lesly for their wedding cakes so we can have more :) highly recommend the chocolate fudge flavor!!!!

Lesly was very helpful in narrowing down best pairings and also helping us figure out how to split up the tiers so we could have multiple flavors. We had the yellow cake with lemon curd & cream cheese frosting which was amazing, the chocolate poundcake with buttercream, and we also had a gluten free red velvet with cream cheese. Quite a few of the other places we looked at didn’t have GF options so that was a big sell too! As we finalized our guest list Lesly was great in helping us order the right amount of cake, and also in helping to design a delicious & gorgeous cake that incorporated our flowers really beautifully. Lots of guests commented on how great it was. Finally - Lesly makes you a 1st year wedding anniversary cake so now we get to look forward to a cake next year!

ould be such an integral part of our whole wedding experience. Our tasting in her dreamy beautiful studio (looks like it is straight out of a BHLDN catalogue) was probably our favorite pre-wedding activity! She has so many options to choose from and has great ideas and suggestions for combinations of flavors. She made adorable (and delicious) individually wrapped engagement ring shaped cookies for my bridal shower which she packed up safe enough that I could fly them back to Boston for the festivities! We handed them out as favors at the end of the shower and everyone loved them! Lesly then created the most beautiful and best tasting wedding cake that I have ever had for our wedding day. She bought fresh florals to incorporate into the design which perfectly matched the rest of our wedding style. My maid of honor who prides herself on not eating or liking sweets has been harassing me since the wedding saying it was the best thing she has ever eaten and now is requesting that I fly with a cake up to Maine for her wedding next June! Lesly also went above and beyond inviting me to a bridal expo with a free ticket she had and allowed me to change the design on my cake numerous times before our actual day. I am so grateful for all her work and will absolutely be recommending her to everyone I know!

I can't wait for our one year anniversary because part of the package is that Lesly makes an anniversary cake for you - no need to freeze the top tier! We definitely made the right choice in choosing The Sugary for our wedding.

We settled on a three tier wedding cake: vanilla cake with lemon filling, chocolate cake with green tea filling (MY FAVORITE), and chocolate cake with a whipped raspberry filling. Every single layer of cake was beyond delicious. I had guests come up to me and not only compliment me on the wedding cake, but also ask where her bakery was located! One of my bridesmaids even came over to take home the little bit of leftover cake I had in my fridge because we were going to leave on our honeymoon. She couldn't bear to leave any of the cake uneaten. I wish The Knot allowed me to attach a picture of the cake, so everyone could see how Lesly provided the most beautiful and perfect canvas for the floral decorations provided by my florist. By the way, did I mention that Lesly will make you a brand new cake for your one-year anniversary!?!? No need to take up space in your freezer with year old cake. Do not hesitate, request a cake tasting with Lesly right now. You won't regret it!!! I'm already looking forward to our one-year anniversary cake!

Can't wait for our cakes in August! :) UPDATE (8/28/18): Lesly is still awesome! :) We ordered three cakes for our wedding: lemon cake and lemon buttercream with raspberry; almond cake and almond buttercream with cherry compote; and chocolate cake and peanut butter buttercream. Each cake was unique and beautifully decorated with meringues, truffles, and fruit. Of course, each cake was beyond delicious. We were thrilled and can't wait for our 1-year anniversary cake.
