This talented entrepreneur was interested in music from a young age. Inspired by his mother, a professional pianist, he decided to start lessons. By the time Jerry reached eighth grade, he was booking resorts in the Catskills with his band. Flash forward a number of years and this skilled musician has achieved an impressive amount. His successes include co-writing with Duran Duran and creating drum tracks for the Muppets’ Animal. Jerry soon went on to set up the legendary Sultans of Swing. Over time, the band has grown to include some of the best musicians in the nation. It is now a collection of exceptional entertainers who can accommodate a range of genres. This talented group will raise the roof on your special day. They put maximum effort into each celebration, whether it’s small or large. The team will strive to impress every last guest on the list. Taking the details of your day on board, they will craft a personalized set that fits your needs. The team pays attention to the mood and age of the crowd to make informed song choices. We had the sultans of swing as our wedding band and they were absolutely amazing. They worked very closely with me to understand what type of music we wanted at the wedding and to make it as personalized as possible. I worked with Leslie and she was so responsive- every time I emailed her she responded right away. The band had all of the guests up and dancing all night which is exactly what we wanted. The only two things that I would change are 1. the band drove to the event each in their own cars, so we had to pay for parking for each person - it would have been nice if they tried to carpool. 2. they required a case of cold water to be there for them the day of the event. I did have it for them but it was just one extra thing that I had to do on the day of the wedding and it would have been nice if they could have brought their own waters. I 100% would recommend this band to anyone and I would hire them again if I have another event that needs a band.

We booked the Sultans for our wedding on 10/20 and they were amazing! All of our guests were commenting on how great the band was. The song selection, professionalism and performances were outstanding. In our opinion best on the Cape/Islands! Thanks again Sultans for helping making our night so memorable.

Cannot describe with words how amazing they were. From the beginning Jerry Bennet Entertainment (Sultans of Swing) was a 5 star experience. Leslie from the team really helped to put together the perfect band to have the music and vibe we wanted. The band absolutely killed it - the dance floor was packed all night and they were just such a great source of energy. Trust the team - you will have the best experience imaginable with them.

The Sultans of Swing are the PERFECT wedding band. Our guests are still raving about how talented the vocalists and musicians were, and how wonderful of a party they created for us! We had an 8 piece band for our 5 hour reception, and they kept up the energy the entire time! I can't recommend them enough.

The bar was high for our wedding band as my husband made a living via a live music band in his 20s. We also had the challenge of bringing together young and old from two different continents with hopes that everyone would be on the dance floor. All I can say is The Sultans of Swing delivered an evening well beyond our expectations. It was incredible. Every person at our wedding hit the dance floor and many are still talking about the band and all said the ceremony music was the best they ever heard. Jerry Bennet himself came by our reception to ensure everything was going well, which we really appreciated. So, my ultimate advice, if you want folks to hurry through the meal so they can make it to the dance floor, The Sultans of Swing is the band for you!

Mark, Jillian, and the rest were truly great. Every special request was honored, and the quality of the musicianship was first class. Jillian is really an amazing singer, people kept coming up to us to rave about her. They really made the wedding, and we were very pleased to have them. I would highly recommend them if you having a wedding in the Cape or the Islands, they may charge a bit but they are worth every penny.
