We had The Sultans play at our wedding in Spring Lake, NJ, and they were absolutely unbelievable. We'd been to two previous weddings where they performed, and they completely brought the house down both times, so our expectations were high. Somehow, they exceeded them.
From the moment we signed our contract, the entire process was seamless. Leslie, Jade, Megan, and Jerry were all wonderful to work with—responsive, organized, and always happy to answer our questions. Their extensive music library made planning easy, and they were able to accommodate several special song requests while also offering thoughtful guidance whenever we were unsure about a decision.
On the wedding day, they absolutely knocked it out of the park. They emceed the evening beautifully, kept the energy high, and created such a fun, interactive atmosphere. The dance floor was packed all night long, and our guests are still talking about how incredible the band was. One of the highlights of the night was when my husband got on stage to sing his favorite song with the band—it was such a memorable moment that perfectly captured the energy and fun they brought to our celebration.

The Sultans also handled the logistics of our locations extremely well. Getting a full band to an island location comes with no shortage of challenges, but from our end on the day of, there were no issues. They were also very flexible with adding ceremony music, adding PA systems, and generally enabling an amazing night.

Jerry and Leslie and the rest of the sultans team were very organized and efficient and had great initial intake forms and song selection forms To ensure a seamless process. From the moment they hit the stage, their energy was infectious, they even got on the Dance floor with us and I even got behind the microphone with the band to belt out “walking on sunshine” performing during the wedding to all of our guests! The Sultan’s energy, flexibility, and engagement with the crowd was fantastic ! Our guests went out of their way to let us know how amazing the band was ! Their song selection was fantastic, blending classic dance hits with modern favorites and pop throwbacks that catered to all ages. The charisma and stage presence were fantastic but what impressed us most was their professionalism. The lead singers were incredibly charismatic, with amazing range, and the band brought the house down time and again. They took all of our preferences into account, and surprised us with live versions of songs we didn’t expect, which was such a personal touch. They also went above and beyond to include a song at the end of the set that is meaningful to our friend group. JG, Troy, Jillian J, and Leon were absolutely incredible and had everyone so engaged the entire time. Since our wedding last week, we have had so many of our guests reach out to us letting us know how amazing they thought the band was and that they were the best wedding band they have heard. The true surprise of the night was after the MOH speech where she mentioned the groom loved the song Zombie, by the Cranberries, they then decided to surprise us and play that song off the cuff. The songs they played throughout the night were the perfect range of music that no matter the age had people dancing. After all our planning there was nothing better to hear from our guests that “the band was amazing” and that “that band was the best they’ve ever heard”. make it as personalized as possible. I worked with Leslie and she was so responsive- every time I emailed her she responded right away. The band had all of the guests up and dancing all night which is exactly what we wanted. The only two things that I would change are 1. the band drove to the event each in their own cars, so we had to pay for parking for each person - it would have been nice if they tried to carpool. 2. they required a case of cold water to be there for them the day of the event. I did have it for them but it was just one extra thing that I had to do on the day of the wedding and it would have been nice if they could have brought their own waters. I 100% would recommend this band to anyone and I would hire them again if I have another event that needs a band.

e no opportunities to hear the band live before we booked, and we were frustrated at times by the process because we paid extra to reserve particular musicians (Erin and Jake), but were met with resistance and had to follow up several times to feel confident that this would actually happen. However, everything worked out in the end, and they even sent an extra singer who ended up being great at getting people on the dance floor and having a good time. The groom’s 90 year old grandmother even hit the dance floor, and everyone of all ages had a blast! We are still hearing about what a great time everyone had. Erin and Jake were excellent choices and we would definitely recommend them!

We specifically appreciated that the band took our requests and musical taste to heart. The was no point in the evening that they strayed from our vision. We also appreciated their energy. Several members of the band came out into the crowd to interact with our guests. Of course, everyone loved this!
Leslie was also incredibly responsive and supportive throughout the planning process. It has been a pleasure working with the entire team both leading up to the wedding and during the event. The Sultans were sheer perfection and I would recommend them to anyone!
