The Surf Club on The Sound

I will begin by saying this place is a dream! We had our wedding here in July. We worked with Jaime and he helped us out. At times it was hard to get in touch with him. When we had his full attention, he was great! He was very accommodating and made all of our requests happen! We had Rick as our maître d and Brianna as my bridal attendant and they are a true dream team! Everything ran like a well oiled machine! Brianna helped me feel so calm throughout the day. She was so sweet and made sure we were drinking water and eating throughout the day! She also got my dress bustled quick! The food was amazing, from cocktail hour, to dinner and then to dessert- the food was consistently delicious and plentiful! Our guests raved about the view, the food and the drinks! All in all it was an absolutely perfect day!

We recently had our wedding at The Surf Club and wish we could give more stars! From the beginning of the planning process, Rick Dileo, the banquet manager was so helpful and flexible. He accommodated us with every request we inquired on. Our guests RAVED about the overabundance of the food, especially during cocktail hour and how amazing it all was. The views of the sound were a big plus! We had our ceremony in the upstairs indoor chapel and it was the most beautiful space for 180 guests. The staff and service during the reception was top notch. The Surf Club also worked so well in accommodating our vendors. We would not have changed one single thing from our wedding. Look no further!

o One of the easiest decisions we made when planning our wedding was picking Surf Club on the Sound as our venue. Ricky was incredibly knowledgeable in helping us plan our perfect day and willing to give us everything we wanted and more. The venue is beautiful, the food was plentiful and delicious, and the staff was attentive and efficient. We also added the Viennese hour which I would recommend to anyone. There was an abundance of dessert that our guests enjoyed and were even given containers to go home with.

The Surf Club is an amazing wedding reception venue! The food and drinks are all amazing and there are so many options. My guests were raving about the cocktail hour. We were able to do delicious espresso martinis and mojitos as signature drinks. The Viennese hour was also amazing and has almost every dessert you can think of. The penthouse ballroom and cocktail hour space are beautiful and allow for such a great flow of the evening in terms of how they are situated. There are many beautiful indoor and outdoor spots for photos, we did our first look and all of our photos there. They are so accommodating for whatever you need. Unfortunately, we needed to knock off one star because on the night of the wedding, our maitre'd Paul was surprisingly rude and unhelpful to multiple guests. Everyone else at the Surf Club provided amazing service, so this was very out of the ordinary. Special shoutout to our bridal attendant Andrea and our banquet manager Rick for being amazing!

All I can say is WOW! The venue was everything I ever dreamed of. After our wedding, my husband and I always say it "we wish we could've experienced our wedding as guests". The food was incredible. SO. DAMN GOOD. We received so many compliments from guests about the cocktail hour, main courses, and Venetian hours. I still dream about the food tbh. The venue itself is gorgeous. Perfect for photos and creating such an aura of grandeur. The team who helped us was organized and supportive, Knowing exactly when to call us and when to pull as away. Everything was timed well. We had an issue with seating (my fault) but they handled it while I was signing my marriage license (thank you!!). I got married in June 2023 and chose the indoor ceremony room - beautiful and ideal for any type of weather. Jamie was so kind in answering my thousands of questions and I wouldn't have wanted to get married anywhere else.

First off the venue is beautiful and the food was top notch. But unfortunately there were a few issues with our service. First off despite everything going relatively well there wasn't too much organization. Our guest were not guided to the cocktail hour after the ceremony had concluded and we were not told ahead of time that the mens changing room would be unavailible (because they needed to use it for the wedding after ours) and that all of our belongings would be crammed into the bridal room and make things very tight and inconvenient. The bathroom in the bridal room was broken so everyone from the bridal party had to walk out to the guest restrooms. But perhaps the most irritating part of all was during the ceremony there was a member of the staff on the second floor near the cocktail area just laughing loudly and nonstop during the very important moment of vow exchange. I think its pretty straightforward to have your staff be respectful to your clients, especially at such a critical moment. Everyone that served us was at least very friendly and the location is stunning, but it was those few but crucial things that put a sour taste into our mouths.

We hosted our wedding at the Surf Club last weekend and cannot rave about this venue more. It was so amazing!!! From day 1, communication has been great with Jaimie. The venue is beautiful, the food was delicious with tons of variety. Our guests LOVED it. Breann, my bridal attendant was AWESOME. Didn't have to worry about a thing. Everyone had a great time ❤️. We’re so happy we chose the Surf Club and highly recommend it if you're looking for a wedding venue.

We had our wedding at the Surf Club a few weeks ago. The venue is absolutely stunning and gorgeous! The process was seamless from the beginning to end. We looked at many other venues however we knew Surf Club was the one even from our first visit. The moment you drive up, you are greeted with beautiful statues and water fountains. You truly feel a European vibe and it is spectacular. Guests were gasping as they entered the venue. The staircase, reception room, LARGE dance floor, and beautiful cocktail area will blow your mind. We couldn’t have had better support, with Jaime Gizzo by our side through every step. Jaime was always available for guidance throughout the entire planning process. He was only a text message or phone call away and he always got back to me in a very timely manner. Jamie gave us great food recommendations and advice and truly went above and beyond to make sure we had the most amazing night. The food was out of this world, we were stuffed the night of our food tasting, but could not stop eating. Our guests are still raving about the food- the cocktail hour stations, upgraded to the raw bar, dinner and the Viennese hour was OUTSTANDING. Surf Club also made our stunning and delicious cake. The Surf Club is a classy, elegant wedding venue and I highly recommend it to any couple searching for their dream wedding location. Thank you, Jaime and staff, for everything!! The staff was amazing especially the bridal attendant Victoria and Maitre D. They were very accommodating and attentive. It was truly a night to remember and our guests are still raving about everything!!!!! A++++++++ I wish i could give 100 stars to this venue! What a fabulous day we had at the surf club!! Jamie is the nicest man you will meet and made everything stress free. Food was amazing, staff were great, could not fault anything. Highly recommeded!

We had our reception at the Surf Club on 5/6/23. Jamie and his staff really are the best! Collectively this is our third family wedding reception over the years and the service remains outstanding. Jamie (who worked with our families on their weddings) was super attentive to detail and promptly responded to all my inquiries. The cocktail hour and dinner are unmatched, our guests are still talking about it. The food service was on point, everything was brought out hot and the presentation was gorgeous. Jamie and his staff really went above and beyond. For our signature cocktails Jamie made sure that all the necessary liquor/juices were ordered. We forgot to label that we brought our own champagne flutes and Jamie and his staff searched through thousands of glasses and found them! My husband and I are looking forward to go back as weddings guests!

The Surf Club gave us our perfect wedding and it exceeded all our expectations! From the beginning, they were easy to work with and they accommodated us with the postponements because of COVID, since my family couldn’t come here from Brazil to our wedding. Jaimie was awesome! Great customer service and we loved working with him. Victoria, my bridal assistant and Paulo, my maître d’ were exceptional! They were on top of everything, attentive to details and making sure everything went smoothly. Some of the guests told me that we had the best cake they have ever had and a lot of people told me that our wedding was the best wedding that have ever been to, so we can’t thank everyone enough for making our dream come true!

My husband and I got married here on Oct 30th and the venue was absolutely stunning in the mid-fall weather. Jaime, the banquet manager, was amazing to work with, since day 1, and answered all of our questions. The food is amazing and many of my guests have told me it was the best wedding they've been to! Not to mention our bridal attendant Merrill, who was there for everything and very helpful the day of. I don't know where I would have been without Merrill :') It was a beautiful day and a great time.

Had the most amazing time at my wedding. Jaimie was my banquet manager and ensured everything went smoothly from day one. The food was outstanding…and the service was unbelievable. Paul (my maitré d) was amazing to my family and I and my brid attendant (Andrea) went above and beyond for me. Staff was overall amazing. Highly recommend. (Venue is beautiful of course)

This place makes dreams come true. We got married on Sunday September 18th. Jaime was our venue contact. He was calm and receptive to all our special requests since the get-go. He made it all happen. Michael is such a pleasure, you can tell he truly loves what he does and will make anything you want happen. He also did my parents and sister's wedding so he was delighted to see us return for a 3rd family wedding! Anthony's food is delicious.. my god. I can't say enough about how amazing the food is. We have a big Italian family and a lot of foodies attended our wedding and they were all blown away. They are still talking about it! Rick, our matradee, and Brianna, our bridal attendant, were fantastic. Request them if you're getting married there. I know everyone who gets married says they had the best day regardless of what happened but we truly had the best day, everything was PERFECT, and it was because of everyone at the Surf Club. Hands down, the most beautiful venue. The entire place is gorgeous, you don’t even need to go anywhere else for pictures. AND THE FOOD…incredible. So many guests have complimented us on the food, and still talk about it. All of the staff are so friendly, our maitre d and bridal attendant were amazing and beyond helpful. Jaime is so kind and always there to help with questions, start to finish our day was so smooth and beyond what I could ever have imagined. I can’t recommend them enough!

Our daughter Ioanna Gramozis & son-in-law Ronald Rodriguez just got married at the Surf Club on the Sound. We had an amazing experience with this venue from beginning to end. We had our wedding at The Surf Club on The Sound and our guests are still talking about how amazing the food was and how beautiful this venue is. From the cocktail hour to the reception, everything was regal. The food was plentiful and top quality. The service was top notch and the staff was so accommodating. From the very beginning, Jaime was amazing and very helpful. He guided us through the entire planning process and made the wedding planning so much easier. Our wedding was truly magical and rose above all of our expectations. We had our wedding in the large room overlooking the water and it was truly breathtaking. Rick was our Maitre'd and he assisted us through the entire night-no details were left undone. In the bridal suite, Victoria was the bridal attendant and she was the sweetest woman-so resourceful and helpful. My husband and I really felt special and couldn't have asked for a better wedding day. To Jaime and the whole Surf Club staff, thank you for making our wedding unforgettable. We couldn't be happier.

Our son got married at this venue and we can't say enough good things about it. It was a destination wedding for us with guests from all over the country and they were all impressed with the beauty of the venue and the level of service provided. The general manager Michael was flexible, accommodating and answered all of our questions. The bridal attendant Breanne went above and beyond. She was over the top helpful not just to the bride but to everyone involved in the wedding. She had a calming presence and was involved in every detail of the day and was literally responsible for making the day run so smoothly. She stayed late to help us pack up and made sure that we didn't leave anything behind. She was like our own private coordinator for the day and provided old school service. You rarely see that level of service today and it felt so good to walk away from our son's wedding with no complaints and with the bride and groom and both families feeling like it was the perfect day. We cannot comment on the catering because we brought in our own kosher caterer. For catering we used Prestige catering and the food was amazing. It's also worth noting that the bar at this venue is fully stocked and the bartenders are fantastic. We have been to weddings where the parents are paying for open bar and you ask for a tequila sunrise and they say, "We don't have any grenadine." These bartenders know how to mix drinks and were very pleasant as was the rest of the staff.

We are so happy we decided to have our wedding at the Surf Club. The venue is beautiful with both indoor and outdoor spaces and they were able to deliver our dream wedding! Chef Anthony served great food that a lot of our guests truly enjoyed and the cocktail hour was amazing! They were also accommodating during the covid times. Jaimie was our sales manager and he was great about answering questions through text. Overall, we had a such great experience!

Surf Club in the Sound is top notch in every aspect! The venue itself is stunning, regal inside with a beautiful elegance right by the water and sand. Jaime was fantastic and incredibly attentive throughout our planning process and made this easy for us every step of the way. People have been raving about the food, both cocktail hour and main courses. (We chose the steak, chicken and salmon dish, but honestly all their dishes were amazing!) Beautiful set up during cocktail hour and timely service of food courses coming out to ensure we had plenty of time to dance. Breann, our bridal attendant, you’re my girl. She had everything prepared before I even arrived. So attentive and detail oriented and kept tabs on us at all times. Paul, our maitre d, was awesome. He kept us aware of the day’s agenda and kept things moving very smoothly. All the staff here in general are so incredibly kind, patient and super professional. You can’t go wrong with this venue!!!

Our dream wedding was absolutely perfect! From the moment we visited the Surf Club, we knew we wanted to get married here. Jamie and his team made sure each detail was amazing from start to finish. Absolutely amazing from the booking process all the way through to the wedding. Jaimie made my experience stress free and was a pleasure to work with especially while planning a wedding during covid times! Lisa is beyond AMAZING. The staff is excellent, food is exceptional and this venue is gorgeous! I received countless compliments during my wedding and the following days on how much people enjoyed it. 10/10 recommend!

The Surf Club was amazing! I had both my ceremony and reception here and could not have asked for a better location for my wedding! Jamie was so patient and explained everything to my husband and I. Bri, my bridal attendant, was attentive and on top of everything I asked for and even things I forgot about! The food was amazing, as usual, and all of my guests couldn't stop saying how beautiful the venue and room were.

The Surf Club was fantastic! Rick was so helpful during the lead up to the wedding, including accommodating a 1 year delay for Covid. 215 people easily fit in the grand ballroom and the dance floor was rocking. The bridal suite was gorgeous and the groom room was everything we needed. The grounds were incredible and the gazebo in back made for some great pictures for first look even during a winter wedding. The food was the best we've ever had at a wedding. I highly encourage you to add the Mozz man, which our friends are still raving about! Every station was incredible. I don't know how they are able to pull this off on such a large scale. The seated dinner might as well have been at a 5 star restaurant. So good! The staff helped to make the day and night. They were so efficient and kind to our guests. We never saw a line at the bar and our guests were certainly a thirsty bunch. They allowed us to do specialty cocktails and pick out our call liquors. Special shout out to Briana, our bridal attendant. It was like having a super hero by our sides. If the dress's bustle became unhooked, she just appeared. If we were too busy to eat or get a drink, there she was. Every question we had, she was there with her expertise. She even kept the groomsmen happy with a couple buckets of beer! End of the night Briana and the staff somehow had all of our stuff packed up and ready to toss in the car, we didn't even have to ask. She even packed us a ton of leftovers! Seriously, give the Surf Club a call. You barely have to lift a finger for a perfect wedding.

Our wedding was everything we ever imagined it to be. Thank you to the entire Surf Club team for being so hands on and attentive to every single guest. As soon as your driving into the lot you see the beauty, and how grand the venue is. We had our wedding here and everything was beautiful. We had our outdoor wedding, with the beautiful back drop of the water- breathtaking! My bridal attendant Brianna was so helpful she truly is an angel. The hospitality was fantastic and everyone loved the food, cake and the drinks! Outstanding definitely a must to book this venue!

WOW! The venue is gorgeous inside and out! Perfect place for a wedding during these times especially with all the open air spacious options! Jaime was a pleasure to work with. He was very responsive and provided exactly what we wanted a far as food, beverages and space. The bridal attendant was amazing catering to my every need that night. All the staff was amazing and so careful with all our personal decorations. Very quick to serve and clean up! We received many many compliments on how gorgeous this place is and how amazing the dinner and cocktail hour food was! Highly recommend!!!

Words cannot express how appreciative we are for Jaime and the Surf Club for throwing a wedding to remember. My husband and I planned to get married in July 2020 with all our family and friends present; however, our plans were ultimately postponed due to COVID. Throughout the process, Jaime was extremely accommodating and rescheduled our celebration multiple times as our country’s COVID situation evolved. Our plans ultimately came to fruition in July 2021 and what an event it was! Jaime provided fantastic and thoughtful food recommendations, allowing us to receive rave reviews from our guests regarding the food experience throughout the evening. The 90-minute cocktail hour complete with a raw bar, the sit-down dinner, and the Viennese hour were phenomenal. A special thanks to Jaime and the Surf Club for making our wedding dreams into a reality.

We booked with the surf club a year and Vance hoping that things will Covid will get better. Unfortunately things are not so we had to postpone our wedding. Jaime Gizzo, One of the venues coordinator has been amazing. He worked with my fiancé and I all the way. He’s really amazing honesty. Very professional caring with a great sense of humor. Thank you so much Jamie; the surf club is amazing not only do you get the scenery but you get the customer service! this journey is tough with a lot of ups and downs but if you have a venue that is willing to work with you it takes a lot of stress off.

This venue is a dream come true. From the moment you drive up to the venue, it is just breathtaking! The upgrades they made blows all the nearby venues out the water. I had the pleasure of working with Jaimie and he was fantastic. I will always recommend this venue. My guests were blown away from the minute they walked in. The food was delicious as well!

The Surf Club does an amazing job! They make planning easy for the couple, the food is the best you can get, the atmosphere is amazing for pictures, and all of the staff is so helpful with any little question or request. I had my wedding here and it absolutely gorgeous!!! Jamie is the absolute best. The grounds is beautiful and when you meet Jamie he is the icing on the cake. He is very sweet, knowledgeable, witty, great personality, good listener, communication on point. It was nothing I couldn’t ask J to assist me with during my entire process. You can only imagine how stress I was planning a wedding during Covid. Jamie was suppose to be off all of a sudden on my wedding day. I was ready to change the entire venue because I felt he was with me the entire time and for me to hear they changed his schedule and had Thursday off I was about to lose it, someone can’t help you do everything and than on the actual day they are MIA to some they won’t care but we did that’s how much I grew to have love for Jamie. I must say they made it happen and he was there for the beginning of my wedding. I must give props to Andrea as well when I tell you this girl was the best bridal/grooms attendant!!! She was by my side the entire time and a gem!! Suggestion for the surf club mgmt team If it’s a large wedding party you might want to consider having 2 attendants to avoid confusion. That is already a hectic day to avoid issue have separate attendants for the room It’s something else I’m forgetting if I remember I promise to come back and edit my review Just know the grounds are gorgeous, inside looks even better and your wedding will be talked about for years to come....people are literally still calling us about our wedding... From the moment my husband and I walked into the Surf Club we knew we had found our venue. Jamie was nothing but amazing, helping us through the entire planning process. We both come from big Italian families so food was extremely important to us. The food was the best I have ever had at a wedding and our guests are still talking about it 8 months later. Our bridal attendant and maitre d made sure we had everything we needed at all times and made sure everything ran smoothly. I would hands down recommend Surf Club to anyone looking for an amazing wedding venue.

Our experience with The Surf Club was phenomenal! A dream, from start to finish. The moment my husband and I walked in, we knew this was going to be the venue for our wedding. It is such a beautiful place with so many photo opportunities for a wedding. We worked with Jamie who is absolutely amazing. He was patient, accommodating, helpful and friendly throughout the entire process. Our wedding reception was in the Penthouse room with the cocktail hour on a balcony overlooking the water. I cannot begin to explain how beautiful everything looked. The food- OUTSTANDING. Food expectations are high to our families and the food did not disappoint! My father's friends were calling him weeks after our wedding still talking about the food. We had several people tell us that our cocktail hour was the best one they have ever been to. The Surf Club also provides the wedding cake. We brought in a picture of what we wanted and they definitely delivered, with such great detailing! We were in awe when we saw our cake the night of. We dropped off all things we needed to be set up for our wedding a few days before with instructions to Jamie and he made sure everything was set up perfectly. My bridal attendant Merrill was absolutely amazing. Paying attention to detail and checking in on me throughout the night. My dress was made of tulle and had many leaves stuck in the bottom due to taking pictures in various locations outdoors, and Merrill made sure to pick them out for me! She is a gem! Our Maitre D, Ruggerio, was outstanding as well. He had everything set up so beautifully for us. The fine details he put in everything were stunning. We are so grateful to the staff at The Surf Club for giving us such a wonderful, stress-free, unforgettable night. We really felt so special on our special night. My husband and I got married at The Surf Club two weeks ago on New Year's Eve. From the moment we booked the venue, we had nothing but amazing encounters with everyone at Surf Club. We worked with Sandro through the entire planning process and he was so attentive, so quick to reply to our emails and calls, and so willing to answer any questions and help us acquire our vision for our wedding. Breanne was our bridal attendant and I cannot say enough good things about her. She was incredibly attentive to my husband and I, as well as our parents. It was as if she predicted what we needed before we even knew it ourselves. As if they hadn't impressed us enough, at the end of the night our shuttle company stopped running earlier than they were supposed to, leaving my husband and I, my parents, and a few other guests stranded. One of the employees from Surf Club so kindly drove my husband and I to the hotel we were staying at. The staff aside, Surf Club is a stunning venue with amazing picture opportunities. If you are getting married around the holidays, the Christmas decorations they put up look gorgeous. We have also continued to hear from our guests about how delicious the food at both the cocktail hour and the dinner were. We knew we made the right choice when we chose Surf Club, and I can't recommend it enough. Now we are just waiting to be invited to someone else's wedding at Surf Club so we can go back!

My husband Brian & I got married on 9/14/19 at the Surf Club and we can’t say enough good things about this venue! Beginning with our Banquet Manager Jamie, Reggiero another Banquet Manager and all the staff we received excellent service from the start of our planning culminating with our wedding. Their facilities are beautiful and there was an abundance of delicious food. Our family and friends had such a great time we continue to get nothing but great feedback on our wedding to this day! Every Bride wants a beautiful venue, great food with excellent service and I received everything I prayed and hoped for through the Surf Club!

The Surf Club on the Sound was amazing! We could not be happier with our venue. It was absolutely beautiful and our wedding vision came to life. The food was amazing from cocktail hour to the reception to the Viennese. Even the to-go treats were fantastic! The staff is professional and kind. They made sure our guests were happy throughout the night. Our bridal attendant, Breanne, was the most perfect person a bride and groom could ask for. She took my hand the second I walked in the door, introduced herself to me and my husband, and was there for us until we walked on the bus that evening. The maitre d' Michael was great as well and helped us and our parents any requests, questions, etc. My husband and I cannot wait until we know someone having a wedding at The Surf Club on the Sound so we can go back and enjoy our venue all over again!

My daughter and son-in-law got married at The Surf Club last Saturday night. AND, it was perfect! I cannot imagine anyone wanting to get married anywhere else! I started planning the Wedding 10 months ago, and Sandro (General Manager) worked hand-in-hand with me to make the kids' dreams come true! Everything was done exactly right - from the timing of the day, to the fabulous food, to the white glove service given to all of our guests. And, the setting is just amazing. It's too early to have the photographer's pictures, but just the ones taken by friends have been outstanding. Views of the water are breathtaking, and the interior of the Surf Club are gorgeous. Bre was our Bridal Assistant and Mike was our Maitre D. Both were fabulous. The cigar bar that was set up outside on the deck was unbelievable. Anytime that I mentioned that I might like something - it was added and then done! So many of our guests have told us that "It was the BEST Wedding Ever!" Thank you Sandro, Mike and Bre - and the entire Staff at The Surf Club!

When my wife and I (fiances at the time) walked through the front door of The Surf Club our breath was taken away. We knew this is where we were going to get married. Our first appointment was with Rick, and right away we felt so comfortable with him. Rick showed us around the venue, explained how The Surf Club operates, and Rick was so organized and service oriented. We booked the Surf Club 20 months before our wedding, so Rick and I spoke a lot. Every time we called, Rick knew exactly who we were, and was able to answer any questions we had. Aside from the planning process being so smooth and stress free, the wedding day was incredible. Rick was on the scene the whole night to make sure everything was going according to plan. The reception room was set up perfectly, the ceremony room was set up perfectly, and so was the cocktail hour room. The food was amazing, and abundant. The drinks were flowing, and the bartenders were so efficient. On our wedding day The Surf Club provided us with a Bridal Attendant named Merril. Merril was INCREDIBLE! She knows how a wedding needs to flow, she catered to every need of the bride, and even anticipated things the bride and groom were going to need before they even had to ask. She was so hands on while being incognito, we cannot thank her enough. We really don’t know what else to say but to say thank you to Rick and the rest of the team at The Surf Club. You all blew us away, exceeded our expectations, and curated an evening for us, our friends, and our family that we will never forget. The Surf Club made our fairy-tale dreams come true! Everything from Cocktail hour to the Venitian hour was amazing! Our family and friends couldn't stop raving about how fantastic the food was! They had so many station options and delicious food to choose from! Jaime was wonderful to work with! He answered any questions or concerns my husband and I had and made this a wonderful experience. He really took the time to walk us through every step of the way and made planning a breeze!Our bridal attendant Merril and Matire'd were so kind and there for us every step of the way. They made sure everyone was having a good time and that the bride and groom were well taken care of! My sister had gotten married at the Surf Club nine years prior to my wedding and from our previous experience it was once again outstanding! I can't recommend the Surf Club enough! We are so happy we were able to start our happily ever after at such a beautiful place!

The surf club is truly THE BEST WEDDING VENUE. My husband and I are beyond happy with how our wedding reception turned out. The cocktail hour was HUGE !!!!! So many stations and options to choose from. My bridal attendant Breann was PHENOMENAL. She was on top of everything, she truly calmed my nerves throughout the entire night. Breann went above and beyond to make sure everything flowed smoothly throughout the night. My husband and I were very happy with all Rick did for us, when we booked our wedding we knew we were in good hands because of him. Rick was truly very accommodating and easy to work with. My family is still talking about how amazing our venue was and how great everything went. We are so happy we booked the Surf club!!!!! You will not regret having your wedding here.

My wife and I cannot say enough about our experience with the Surf Club. From the very first time we met with Jaime, right up through the end of our wedding night - everything was perfect. At our first meeting, Jaime took the time to show us around and walk us through all of the food options. After we booked, he spent the next 14 months helping us plan every last detail. We met with him for a tasting about a month before the wedding and were completely blown away by the food. Jaime also recommended an officiant who turned out to be great! He was dedicated and professional throughout the whole process, and helped us avoid the stress that can come with planning a large wedding. By the end of it all, we really felt like he was part of the family. On our wedding night, the service was nothing short of outstanding. Jaime was right there to greet us when we arrived, and the maître d’ (Antonio) couldn’t have been more helpful getting everything organized for us while our heads were spinning. Most importantly, good luck finding a guest who didn’t say this was the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding. First off, the amount of food at the cocktail hour was overwhelming. Between the sushi station, carving station, raw bar/seafood tower, mashed potato bar, fresh mozzarella chef, and so many other options I can’t even remember – on top of the trays being passed around – there was something for everyone. All 200-plus guests were completely blown away by the cocktail hour. The food at the reception was equally outstanding: from the burrata salad to the steak, and everything in between. The tables were already set up with bottles of white & red wine on each, and the bartenders were always quick and efficient – nobody had to wait for a drink, no matter how many people were crowding the bar. Finally, the Venetian hour was also completely overwhelming: ice cream, waffles, dozens of cakes & pies, fresh fried zeppoles, pastries, espresso & cappuccino, a nice bourbon & scotch selection to pair with our cigars … and everything else I can’t remember. (Every day since the wedding, guests have told me about something I didn’t even realize was there.) The wedding cake was also great (even though nobody had room for it!) … and everything was made in-house by their own pastry chef. Last but not least, the bridal attendant, Breann, was amazing. She was so attentive and helpful from the very moment we arrived at the venue, through the ceremony rehearsal, and right down to the end of the night - when she had all of our stuff (including boxes of left-overs) packed up & ready to go. My wife and I never had to get our own drinks or make ourselves a plate at the cocktail or Venetian hours – Breann appeared out of thin air whenever our glasses or plates were getting empty. She treated us like royalty, and we can’t thank her enough. Simply put – the venue is beautiful, and the food & service are second to none. You’ll be in good hands with Jaime & his crew at the Surf Club.

Breann was absolutely amazing. She was on top of EVERYTHING. Always knew what was going on, kept me in the loop, made sure everything I wanted was taken care of and that all my decorations got set up correctly. At the end of the night, she had all of my stuff packed up ready to be loaded into the car. She made sure my husband and I had food and drinks, she coordinated with all of my vendors, etc. I could go on and on. Thank you so much, you truly made our wedding day perfect and I cannot imagine a better bridal attendant . Thank you to Jamie and the surf club for giving us a perfect wedding.

My wife and I got married on Sept 20th 2019 and let me just start by saying that the Surf Club was nothing but incredible every step of the way. First off, Jaime Gizzo was awesome. From the first time we went into surf club inquiring about our wedding date, Jaime showed us around. Gave us so many details and was so professional and helpful every step of the way. He always received us with open arms and answered all of our questions. A month before the wedding we went in to meet with Jaime to do the food and cake tasting because surf club has their own chef that does everything in house and let me say, WOW. Surf club’s food was phenomenal. 5 Star quality food and dessert. We didn’t know what to choose. Everything was so delicious. Red Velvet with the strawberry filling is deft the way to go with the wedding cake. So delicious. The day of our wedding everything was perfect. We got married in a church and after the church ceremony and pictures all day my wedding party was tired and sooo hungry. Jaime received us at the door upon our arrival and took my whole wedding party to the Bridal Suite and had food for all of us before cocktail hour started. He was so helpful, polite, professional and made everything run smooth. We were also greeted by our Maitre D Ruggerio and our Bride Attendant Merrill. Ruggerio had everything set up and made sure nothing was missing. He helped us so much the rest of the day and was always smiling and courteous to every question and need we had. He made sure all of our belongings were packed at the end of the night. Merrill treated my wife and I with the upmost respect. I mean everyone did at surf club. Merrill always made sure we had our signature drinks in hand. She was always right next to my wife making sure her dress was fixed properly and everything was going according to plan. I was in love with some steak bites wrapped in bacon and she made sure I had some on my table all night with the ranch sauce lol. Thank you Merrill. You were amazing. All of my guest are still talking about the wedding and the food. My guest tell me the only thing bad about your wedding was TOO MUCH food lmao. I didn’t know what to pick. Everything was delicious. At cocktail hour we had a Mexican station, Chinese station, Seafood station, Pasta station etc etc and everyone loved every single food they tasted. Friends and family are still raving about how good the food and the service was and how full they left Surf club. If you are getting married, deft do it at surf Club. They will treat you like you deserve to be treated, like a King & Queen. I’m hoping someone gets married at surf club because I need to enjoy their food again. It was nothing short of amazing! Delicious is an understatement!

Where do I even begin? As soon as my now husband and I walked into The Surf Club, we fell in love and knew that is where we wanted to have our reception. Jaime is the absolute best! He went above and beyond for us and made our day the absolute most perfect day ever! He was always one phone call away and that meant a lot especially during such a stressful time in our lives! I cannot thank Sandro, Antonio, Brie and the rest of the Surf Club staff enough for making our wedding the best day of our lives. From the first day we looked at the venue to the night of the wedding, Sandro was so accommodating and made every thing we wanted happen. The day of the wedding, my bridal attendant, Brie, kept me updated on everything going on. She did anything I asked of her and made me feel so relaxed the entire day/night. Antonio was wonderful with keeping everything on schedule. He made sure to come find me and my husband if there was anything we needed to be doing or keeping us updated on the night. We really felt like they were part of our family. Not only is the staff fantastic, but the venue is gorgeous. We had our ceremony outside overlooking the Long Island Sound on the most perfect July day. The guests couldn’t get enough of the views inside and outside of the venue. The quality and amount of food was absolutely amazing. They had everything you could possible want and all of it was delicious. There was so much food that the staff packed everything up for us to take home with us! Our guests are still talking about how great the food was! The Surf Club made our wedding the most perfect it could be and we are forever grateful to have worked with this amazing group of people.

The staff at the Surf Club made my wedding the absolute best experience of my life! Sandro booked our wedding and has been with us every step of the way. His professionalism, pride, and excitement for the venue resonates and he really made us feel at home when searching for a venue. We had a lot of add ins and requests that he made happen with no problem. Antonio was our maitre d and he was incredible. So polite and held the night down!! Dayana and Camila, my bridal attendants were my sanity through the entire night! Camila helped bustle my dress, changed my shoes for me, and made sure I had everything I needed the entire night, from holding my bouquet to grabbing things for me from the bridal suite. I asked and they both delivered. All of my guests were blown away at how amazing the food was, the incredible views and beauty of the venue, and cannot stop talking about the incredible Viennese hour! If you are looking for pure elegance, great service, and everything top notch the Surf Club is for you!

We had our wedding here in August 2019. The venue was so gorgeous; I fell in love with their ceremony site and the penthouse reception room. The ambiance was very elegant and the vibe was exceedingly classy. Our banquet manager was Michael and he was such a gem! He helped us every step of the way… I had so many questions that were answered from start to finish (btw, I planned my wedding in six months). We were also able to have a ceremony rehearsal the day before the wedding and all the staff were so accommodating of our needs. On the day of our wedding, our maître d’ –Antonio – was splendid! He made sure everything went smoothly and did everything we requested. My bridal assistant – Breann – was truly magnificent! She knew what I needed before I even asked, she had great suggestions for my guestbook and scrapbook, she brought a bridal emergency kit with her (which came in handy), and she helped pack all the things I needed to take home with me. Our guests kept raving about the food and how delicious everything was from the cocktail hour to the dessert cart. They were also very impressed with the venue and their entire service team. I could not ask for a better ceremony site and reception room!! I would get married at Surf Club on the Sound all over again!!!

We had our wedding at Surf Club on the Sound in October 2018 and we would do it all over again. Antonio was amazing to work with. He helped us through each step of the planning process and made sure we didn’t forget anything. They were able to accommodate a few special requests we had and just make our lives easier in general. The food was unbelievable—our guests couldn’t have been happier with the cocktail hour stations and passed hors d’oeuvres. The venue was obviously gorgeous. One of our only qualms was regarding the wedding cake—I am gluten and lactose intolerant, and the baker said that he could accommodate that for our wedding cake. We picked a red velvet cake with cookies and cream frosting. I guess the baker ultimately couldn’t make these flavors conducive to my gluten and lactose intolerance, so my portion of the cake was strawberry, which I don’t like. It would have been nice to be alerted to the change before I received my slice of cake. My bridal attendant Merrill was fantastic—she made sure I had everything I needed throughout the day and that I was comfortable and happy. Overall, we were very pleased to have our wedding here and would definitely recommend it.

I cannot say enough amazing things about this venue! They made our special day absolutely perfect. The cocktail hour was spectacular, amazing food and amazing views. The room was set up so beautifully for us, everything was perfect. The staff was so accommodating and so on top of everything that my husband didn’t have to think about anything. The bridal suite was a great place to keep all our things during the party and get ready in, they laid out an array of food during cocktail hour for the bridal party there as well which was so nice. The bridal attendant was amazing, she was so thoughtful and on top of everything, she was even carrying extra Bobby pins for my veil. The food was great, far beyond what most people expect at a wedding. The venue also made our wedding cake and it was stunning. The baker hand painted sugar flowers for my whole cake to match the inspiration photos I sent them. The views at the venue are beautiful and there are so many gorgeous spots for photos both indoors and outdoors. This venue is the most amazing place to have a wedding. I could not recommend it more!!

Obviously one of the biggest parts of planning a wedding is finding the right space that fits exactly what you envision. I searched and searched online before we spent time going to actually look at venues and the Surf Club on the Sound was literally the only one that fit our every need. The entrance pulling in, the staircase when you walk in, the ceremony space on the water with the gazebo, and the reception banquet halls are all completely breathtaking. What more can you want??  We worked with Jaime the whole way through and he was absolutely fantastic! I could not have felt more confident when working with him. He made everything so easy and the whole staff at the Surf Club was fantastic.  I have to give a special shoutout to my bridal attendant Bri. She was absolutely amazing!! I don't know what I would have done without her. The whole day from when I arrived at the Surf Club to when we left, she was 100% attentive to what I needed. I always knew where I had to be and I always had a drink in my hand! She also made sure we actually ate our cocktail hour food and had our dinner meal. She ran all of the little stuff by me and made sure all of the details were in order. At the end of the night she packed up all of our stuff in the bridal suite and all of our reception items in the big bins I had brought with me the day before. I didn't lose one thing and I was so relieved. She made sure we had all of our gifts and she was the one who walked us out into our limo. I couldn't thank her enough for being so amazing!! The major factor that was super important to us in picking a venue was the food. We had heard such great things before we booked and then when we had our tasting, we fell in love. It was the best part of the whole wedding planning because I got to pig out with my soon to be husband and everything we tasted was fantastic. Ever since the big day, our guests can’t stop raving about the food! The whole experience we had with the Surf Club on the Sound was worth every penny . They truly made our dream wedding come true!

My fiance and I decided to check out surf club on a whim. We had time between venues and figured why not? BEST DECISION EVER!!! The venue is gorgeous and so breath taking from the moment you turn into the driveway. Every time we came to visit the venue, I was always just as speechless as the first time. Jamie was pleasant and so great to work with. Sandro was very kind and helped us out. The wedding was made even better by our Maitre D, Antonio (who made everything run smoothly the day of) and bridal attendant, Merrill, who was there for you at a moments notice and constantly refilling your drink of the night. It was like she was a mind reader. The food was amazing!!!! All of our friends and family are still raving about how amazing our wedding was and we couldn't have pulled it off if it wasn't for Surf Club and their amazing staff!!!!
