What an amazing place to stay!! Gorgeous spaces, beautiful rooms, a stellar view from the rooftop terrace and the BEST staff. We were treated like family from the moment we arrived. Sophie and her colleague (I’m so sorry I can’t recall her name...
) checked us in to a fabulous room (not only giving us the best rate they could but also an upgrade). It was absolute heaven after a long day of travel: my husband on his bike and me following in the car. We had so much fun the next morning describing an aerated iced Americano to Jack (who promptly made it) and Mallory (who captured it on her phone). Next time we visit, we hope to see it on the beverage menu! It is an incredible space, but the attention to detail and the warmth of the staff made it a five star experience. Thank you very much!!

p by the beach even more perfect. The rooftop was the highlight for us — beautiful views, relaxing vibes, and we spent so much time up there just soaking it all in. Everything about this hotel felt thoughtful and special. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a charming and relaxing getaway in Malibu!

This recent stay really reminded me why I like it so much. The restaurant was the highlight of the trip — my friend and I genuinely loved every single dish we ordered for dinner,breakfast and lunch! Everything was thoughtful and beautifully prepared. I’m still thinking about my steak sandwich(it was truly unforgettable)
I notice some people leave negative reviews because the restaurant is guest-only, but this is clearly stated on the website. It actually helps keep the space calm and enjoyable instead of overcrowded. At the same time, the chef truly deserves more recognition for the quality of the food.
Service was wonderful throughout, the front desk team and the restaurant staff were all incredibly warm, friendly, and attentive. Always a place I’m happy to return to.

We had been trying to get reservations here for months for dinner. We stopped by once to check it out but were informed you could only visit the rooftop deck or dine for dinner if you were staying at the hotel.
You could believe my excitement ...
when I found a reservation for dinner on the rooftop on RESY and decided to book it for our anniversary dinner celebration.
You could also believe my disappointment and frustration when they called me at noon the day of our anniversary reservation and said they could no longer honor our reservation. Honestly the first time that’s ever happened in my life and I found it to be incredibly unprofessional.
It looks like now the wait to visit this place will continue, this time indefinitely, as who wants to spend their time and money to celebrate at a place with such bad service.
I end with a quote from the ever relevant Jerry Seinfeld, “You know how to take the reservation, you just don't know how to hold the reservation. And that's really the most important part of the reservation, the holding. Anybody can just take them!"
