ext level professionalism, talent, and of course vibes. We hired The Suyat Band for our ceremony in a small, historic chapel where their pianist played on the chapel’s own piano. They provided a sound system for the chapel as well. At cocktail hour, we hired a duo guitarist and pianist to set the tone for our coastal cocktail house, and we were even surprised with a few songs played by Matt on the ukulele! More band members then joined for the rest of the reception, playing all of our special request songs and bringing all of our crazy ideas to life - including a surprise mother/daughter dance, a hat toss, and “Piano Man” to end the night with guest harmonica features from our fathers.  On our last phone call before the wedding, Kyle said to us, “Tell us to jump, and we say, ‘How high?’.” He was not kidding! Our conversations around planning were thoughtful and thorough. We could not have been happier with the service and performance  The Suyat Band provided us. The band only took one short break the entire night and their DJ briefly took over! Each musician is incredibly talented and kind. They genuinely seem to love their job, which is contagious energy to all wedding guests. Our dance floor was packed all night and our compliments on our band choice have not stopped to this day!  We are so grateful to Kyle, Matt, and The Suyat Band and look forward to seeing them play along the Jersey Shore for years to come.

Leading up to the wedding, we coordinated with Kyle, who really took the time to understand what we wanted and what mattered most to us. They also did a great job coordinating the natural rhythm of the night — eating, dancing, speeches, and transitions all felt smooth and easy. Throughout the whole process, they were communicative, responsive, and gave helpful insight at the right times. I truly couldn’t recommend them more. Our guests were on the dance floor from the moment our first dance finished right up until when the shuttles arrived to take us home. Throughout the entire night there wasn't a single moment where the entire band took a break as Kyle/Matt did everything in their power to make sure our night was one we would remember forever. The service the Suyat Band provides is beyond top tier and we’re forever grateful we crossed paths. It’s been a few weeks since we got married and we’re still receiving texts about how amazing the music was and how we found such a talented band. The band learned a new song to play for our first dance and tweaked the length to make us feel at ease when we were nervous about being stuck out on the dance floor for too long. We were fortunate enough to see the band perform at a bar in NJ prior to the big day and immediately knew we were going with the right people and loved the idea of getting to see them perform in the future after our wedding day. We held an after party and switched to a DJ for one hour and didn't have to engage with another vendor because Matt (lead singer) doubles as a DJ and kept the party going for us. Lastly, we ended our night by taking a picture with Kyle/Matt and got the chance to tell them how thankful we were to have them as a part of our wedding day. The fact that Kyle/Matt are such kind people really just made our day a million times less stressful. Happy to call the band friends and will always be checking their Instagram to see if they get a night off from weddings to play at a bar so we can re-live some of our wedding memories in person!

When I went to see the Acoustic Duo of Kyle and Matt play at the World Trade Center before booking, they treated me like family. Shouting me out during the set and using their break to talk to me about my life and fiancée Julia. And we haven’t even talked about the wedding day! If you’re looking for a band that gets people of all ages out of their seats and dancing, The Suyat Band is the #1 choice! Throughout the night we had multiple couples tell us it was the best band they’ve heard at a wedding. The energy was second to none! Matt is an incredible emcee, commanding control of the room, belting out a wide array of genres, and making your day special. And the same goes for the rest of the band. The two female vocalists shined on both ends of the musical scale. The horns rocked. The guitars jammed. The drums ruled. Top to bottom, the 9 piece band gelled as 1. During dinner, they performed full sets, with some people even getting up to dance to their own first dance songs. The Acoustic Duo even made an appearance with some beautiful background music, including Julia’s favorite John Mayer. Cocktail Hour was lovely with the strings, setting the mood on the patio from the start. And The Suyat Band even stays after hours! A 2 hour after party on-site was DJ’d by Matt, with most of the band staying to hang out and encourage him on. It was great to see how much of a family they really are. o my sister-in-law, who ended up booking them in 2023. When it was our turn to plan, we actually booked our venue around their availability for October 2024—and they only got better with time! From the very start, Kyle made the planning process seamless. His responsiveness and genuine enthusiasm made communication a joy. options, we went with The Suyat Band, and we’re so glad we did. Kyle was awesome from the start—super friendly, responsive, and really patient with all our questions. He worked with us to make sure everything was perfect. We had a pianist for our wedding ceremony, which was absolutely beautiful. He was able to cover a few songs we had picked and they sounded perfect, and the jazzy quartet for cocktail hour added a classy touch that everyone loved. For our reception, we did a 10 piece band and they absolutely KILLED IT! Matt is a great MC and definitely got the party going. The band was lively and full of energy. They covered a Rufus du Sol song for our first dance, as well as some others and we were super impressed. They even did an Indian song and the horah and tarnatella. Everything was incredible. 10/10 would recommend.

our reception the most fun night of our lives. What really makes this band great is their skill, professionalism, communication, and variety of music. They worked very well with us, our venue, and coordinator and were always available to jump on the phone anytime we had questions about the night. We had plenty of requests which weren’t listed on their website and they had no problem playing them and playing them phenomenally. The night was engaging and everyone was on the dance floor. We even joined in on the performance as lead singers! So much fun! Thank you all!

everyone in the crowd. We had a T. Swift themed wedding and they unexpectedly delivered a little mini concert and absolutely killed Cruel Summer. Whether or not that's your style, it was beyond what we expected. Kyle was a pleasure to work with, and extremely professional in all aspects. He takes pride in guiding you through an incredibly overwhelming process. After all discussions with him you're left feeling secure that they've mastered the agenda, and they really do. From business to performance they are absolutely an 11/10!!!
