The Suyat Band

My husband and i were extremely picky and nervous about choosing a band for our wedding. We knew that a good band means a good party, and we like to party. After checking out our options, we went with The Suyat Band, and we’re so glad we did. Kyle was awesome from the start—super friendly, responsive, and really patient with all our questions. He worked with us to make sure everything was perfect. We had a pianist for our wedding ceremony, which was absolutely beautiful. He was able to cover a few songs we had picked and they sounded perfect, and the jazzy quartet for cocktail hour added a classy touch that everyone loved. For our reception, we did a 10 piece band and they absolutely KILLED IT! Matt is a great MC and definitely got the party going. The band was lively and full of energy. They covered a Rufus du Sol song for our first dance, as well as some others and we were super impressed. They even did an Indian song and the horah and tarnatella. Everything was incredible. 10/10 would recommend.

We set up a call with Kyle immediately after seeing the band perform live because the music was great and the performance was so fun. What a great decision! The 11-piece band made our reception the most fun night of our lives. What really makes this band great is their skill, professionalism, communication, and variety of music. They worked very well with us, our venue, and coordinator and were always available to jump on the phone anytime we had questions about the night. We had plenty of requests which weren’t listed on their website and they had no problem playing them and playing them phenomenally. The night was engaging and everyone was on the dance floor. We even joined in on the performance as lead singers! So much fun! Thank you all!

Stop any debate you might be having and hire this band. HANDS DOWN THE BEST. They rocked our wedding the entire night start to finish. A perfect blend of modern and old school for everyone in the crowd. We had a T. Swift themed wedding and they unexpectedly delivered a little mini concert and absolutely killed Cruel Summer. Whether or not that's your style, it was beyond what we expected. Kyle was a pleasure to work with, and extremely professional in all aspects. He takes pride in guiding you through an incredibly overwhelming process. After all discussions with him you're left feeling secure that they've mastered the agenda, and they really do. From business to performance they are absolutely an 11/10!!!

Where do we even begin?! First and foremost, if you’re considering a band for your wedding…do it. Like yesterday. And hire these guys immediately. It will be the best decision you will make in your wedding planning, aside from choosing your partner. From the first night we met Kyle and Matt at one of their shows, we instantly felt like nothing other than our upcoming wedding mattered to them…and we hadn’t even booked them yet. After that night and hearing their set list, we knew that our guests would enjoy the mix of genres they played and how seamlessly they transitioned from one genre to the next. What transpired after that first night is something you always hope for in dealing with vendors, although it’s never a guarantee. Kyle made us feel like family. He let us ask 1 million questions every time we talked and offered his personal guidance every step of the way. He was responsive and professional, yet made us feel like we were talking to a friend every time we chatted. We felt well prepared going into our wedding. What happened the afternoon and night of our wedding though, was more than we could have ever dreamed of. Matt orchestrated our ceremony music with ease, even making a rendition of “First Date” by Blink 182 happen for my processional. It was amazing! The cocktail hour consisted of a guitar and saxophone duo which our guests couldn’t get enough of! Imagine your favorite pop song played on a saxophone and Kyle made it happen. Once the reception began, Matt led the band in a first dance set before dinner that made every one of our 120 guests rush the dance floor. Aside from a pause for our guests to eat, those 120 guests truly never ever left the dance floor. Kyle, Matt and their team played song after song, favorite after favorite, causing even our quietest of guests who we never imagined would dance, jump up and down with the crowd as they also sang every lyric at the top of their lungs. My husband and I didn’t think it could get any better..until it did. We are huge 90s music fans, and in particular, slight Blink 182 groupies (well the bride at least). Matt and Kyle started off with a 90s set that was incredible, even inviting my husband and I onto the stage to sing “All the Small Things” to an overcrowded dance floor of family and friends. It was a rockstar moment…one we’ll truly never forget. And while that may seem small or silly, to us, it meant that Kyle and Matt would have done just about anything to make us smile and our night memorable. They’re the professional musicians and they let us have the spotlight! Our wedding was two weeks ago and our family, friends and guests are still sending us videos of the band and the dance floor, sharing their stories and talking about the band. Everyone has asked us “what was that bands name again?!” And we have proudly shared, The Suyat Band. BOOK THEM. A 100% guarantee that they will be the highlight of your wedding and be the most fun to work with every step of the way.

Wonderful band and AMAZING service. The Suyat Band made our wedding a winner. From day 1, Kyle treated us like family—helping us understand the different packages and what would be a good fit for our wedding of almost 400 guests. Responses were prompt and thorough, and his demeanor was a Bride’s dream. I could feel confident knowing that Kyle and Matt had everything under control. They were, of course, also VERY flexible…in the few weeks leading up to the wedding, I must have texted Kyle with a dozen or more changes (to the timeline, our first dance, the number of guests, adding on an after party, etc). Each time, I was met with warmth and understanding, and each time they made it happen. My guests had a BLAST—and so did we. The Suyat Band was worth every penny. Can’t recommend them enough!!!!
