The Swanner House in San Juan Capistrano was the absolute perfect venue for our wedding. From the moment we arrived in the morning to get ready until the last song of the reception, everything flowed seamlessly in one beautiful location. Having the bridal suite for getting ready, the outdoor space for our ceremony, the garden for cocktail hour, and the patio for our reception all in one place made the day stress-free and so enjoyable for both us and our guests. The setting itself is breathtaking. The ceremony had a stunning mountain backdrop, and even in August, the weather was absolutely perfect—comfortable, breezy, and exactly what we hoped for. Guests kept commenting on how gorgeous the venue was and how convenient it felt to have every part of the celebration right there without having to travel. A huge part of what made our experience so special was Natalie. She was extremely helpful, attentive, and genuinely sweet throughout the entire process. From answering our many questions during planning, to keeping things organized on the wedding day, she made us feel completely taken care of. Natalie went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right, and her warmth and professionalism set the tone for the entire day. If you’re looking for a venue that has it all—natural beauty, convenience, and amazing support—The Swanner House is the place. Our day could not have been more perfect, and we are so grateful to Natalie and the team for making it unforgettable.

My fiancee and I visited quite a few venues in our search for our perfect wedding location. We met with Michelle at the Swanner House and immediately fell in love with the property. Standing on a few acres, the newly renovated Swanner House has a ton of charm and space which allowed us to create our perfect wedding. Michelle and the Swanner House team was very responsive, very flexible, and extremely helpful throughout our whole process. Our wedding went smoothly and all details on the venue end were executed perfectly. Michelle also mentioned that the Swanner House team will continue to look into new additions and features of the property to keep it growing and set it apart from other venues. Michelle is our venue manager and has been in the wedding industry for nearly 20 years. With a background in wedding planning and coordination, she brings a wealth of experience and an endless amount of insight to the table. Michelle is an incredible resource throughout the planning process and especially on your wedding day. The Swanner House team understands how momentous this event is in our clients’ lives, and we are truly honored to be a part of it. Our goal is to support you every step of the way and help create a day that is as seamless and special as possible.

r lives! We wanted a place that was completely for our guests and having the Swanner house with it's outdoor spaces and unique features was our place! They have a wonderful built in bar in the barn, the guests can sit and relax in the charm of this beautifully restored farmhouse, getting ready on property was wonderful. Michelle was so friendly and welcoming and always available to answer questions and let us visit the property anytime we wanted as we were planning our perfect day. It was everything we envisioned and more! The freeway noise was not a factor at all because of the fountains and the music playing during the cocktail hour and ceremony. We were so lucky to find this gem in San Juan Capistrano! Our guests loved it!

enue has such charm! The bridal party had the entire house, and the venue does so many complimentary items and makes it feel like a wedding at home! The experience was truly magical. The views, the buildings, the options for rentals and the site for the ceremony was absolutely beautiful. We never heard the sound from the freeway, the train passing by (fast and quiet) was so cute and the views were breathtaking! If you’re looking for a unique, beautiful outdoor wedding with daytime and nighttime charm, this is the place! The customer service, the attention to detail and the vendor recommendations were top notch! As the mother of the bride, I highly recommend this venue! So many options and flexibility to make it fit your Bride and Groom’s personality! We are still talking about how perfect the wedding was and I am going to miss being at the Swanner House! It’s such a special place full of charm, history and beauty!

of everything we wanted for our wedding day and delivered above and beyond our expectations!!! Linda is seriously the nicest person and so warm and caring to making sure everything we want as part of wedding was executed perfectly. Michele is outstanding!! She is the best coordinator and I’m so thankful I had her throughout our planning process and the day of our wedding. Everything went perfectly smooth and she was attentive to all the details we wanted. I could not have gotten through this without her!! I know that venues are very busy every weekend with weddings but I never felt that they weren’t fully there for us and what we wanted leading up to our wedding day. I’m not sure my typed words will give you enough understanding of my excitement and enthusiasm as I write this about our wedding day at AST. We are so blessed we picked the perfect venue with the best people that made our day so magical. Just got back from our honeymoon and 2 weeks later, we are still on a high from our wedding at Hamilton Oaks/A Stone's Throw Winery. THIS WEDDING VENUE IS A DREAM! It is everything...

we had dreamed about, hoped for, AND MORE! For anyone who is considering this venue as a wedding option, we have a few things to share: 1. THE FREEWAY IS NOT AN ISSUE. This was something we were so worried about before the wedding. We were worried about the sound of the cars and if guests would be distracted. It was not an issue. People are talking during the cocktail hour and enjoying themselves so much, they didn't notice. I repeat: It is not an issue. 2. THE TRAIN IS NOT AN ISSUE. If it went by, I never noticed. It definitely did not come during our ceremony and I never noticed it during the reception. 3. The sunset is A DREAM. It's so beautiful while it sets during the reception. We had a 430-5pm ceremony, 5-6 cocktail, and 6-10 reception. It was perfect timing for photos and the sunset. 4. I got ready in the bridal suite and it was so fun to watch the wedding get set up while we got ready. It's close quarters, but we made it work. The staff was so kind and helpful throughout the day. 5. The Staff is amazing. Everyone is so lovely and helpful. Best Security and Staff Ever! Our guests had an amazing time. 6. The wedding coordinators at VIP Events and Weddings are so wonderful and helpful. We could not have asked for a better team than Kaleigh and Sanya. And the vendors they provide in packages are incredible. Obviously, we could not be happier. I could not gush more. Thank you to everyone at Hamilton Oaks/A Stone's Throw and VIP Events and Weddings. We had the perfect day and you were a HUGE reason why!
