After graduating from culinary school in 2013, this dedicated chef began working her way up the cooking ladder before becoming head chef of a restaurant aged 23. Along with her theoretical and practical knowledge, this chef was ready to kickstart her own venture in the culinary world. 1408 soulfood CHEF CMG is inspired by cuisines from around the world. On their menus, you will find a selection of African, American, Southern dishes, and much more. All of these meals are made from scratch, using the finest ingredients possible. This allows these caterers to accommodate those with specific dietary requirements including gluten-free, vegetarian, and nut-free. For your convenience, your personalized menu is delivered to your venue and set up ready for service. Your meals can be presented in a variety of ways to best suit your wedding plans. This includes chef stations, casual buffets, passed hors d'oeuvres, servers, and more. All plates and cutlery are cleaned up at the end of service, allowing you to focus on more meaningful matters.

I cannot speak highly enough about Chef V and Sweet Fusion Experience. After coming across their profile on Bark, I decided to reach out and have Chef V cook my (then) fiance and I dinner. We enjoyed her dishes and presence so much, that we immediately knew there was no other caterer that we'd want to have at our wedding. Chef V was communicative throughout the entire process and even made a SECOND trip to my house after the sampling dinner, just because she wanted us to try the carrots (which were incredible by the way!!!). The Sweet Fusion Experience Team arrived to the event with all of the food ready to go and were personable and professional throughout the entire evening. My guests LOVED the team and could not get over how GOOD the food was. Fully hearts, full bellies, and empty plates all around! We did the Salmon, Mashed Potatoes, Cajun Pasta, Red Wine Braised Short Rib, and Green Beans, with Chicken Lolli Pops, Spinach Dip, and Stuffed Mushrooms. It was INCREDIBLE. I was also able to try her Whipped Blue Cheese..I dream about this stuff. I will be using Sweet Fusion Experience for ALL catering needs moving forward and will sing their praises from the roof tops for as long as my voice will allow! Do yourself a favor and book Chef V!!

When our previous catering vendor fell through, The Sweet Fusion Experience came through and exceeded all expectations. All of our guests loved the food and appreciated the portion sizes. They also provided plated services and were very nice and professional during the reception. Thank you all again for being so willing to be our caterer at the last minute and still providing an excellent experience.

Out of everything that I enjoyed about the wedding one of the best parts was the food, and its still talked about to this day. Not only was the food good but we were also treated very fairly, respect is a big part of my book and I felt like it was literally the foundation of our relationship. we look forward to hiring her again in the future thanks again for aiding in one of our most memorable moments in our life.

I had the pleasure of attending a very small intimate Covid approved wedding and Chef CMG catered. The food was very good and the professionalism was even better! Large or small Chef CMG will provide you with a menu to satisfy all of your needs! Very pleased!

Omg! Chef CMG is one amazing chef. She catered an event for me a few weeks ago and the food was “slap yo mama” good lol. But overall, she was prompt, clean, and very professional. Look forward to booking with her in the future!
