l of the samples myself and I may have snarled at my fiancé when he got close to them after his one bite of each. All of the other bakery samples I tried were fine but didn’t come close. Easiest decision I made for the entire wedding was choosing The Sweet Life Bakery. We wanted a light, fruit flavored cake for our wedding — lemon raspberry in some format with Swiss meringue buttercream (SMB) was our hope. You’d think that wouldn’t be a huge ask these days. However, The Sweet Life Bakery was the only bakery that really had the variety of fruit options we wanted (that wasn’t white cake with a fruit jam) AND prepared tasting samples for us to try without any pushback or a crazy high up charge (very reasonable). Cake samples included blueberry, lemon, vanilla and almond. SMB samples included lemon, raspberry, vanilla and blueberry. They make beautiful cake designs but I was on tight budget for a 90 person wedding and wanted to have a surprise groom’s cake, so I went with a plain white wedding cake. It was still gorgeous! The groom’s cake of our Yorkie was hysterically perfect! I emphasized that she has big ears and they nailed it all! The fondant on the groom’s cake was the perfect thickness and not too sweet so it was just as delicious as the wedding cake. covid. I received so many compliments about our wedding cake from guests. However, I think the star of the show was the ooey gooey filled kings cups as our favors. These were a huge hit for our local and many out of town guests.

tiful! I would love a whole tub of that frosting to eat on its own- it was so good!! Our grooms cake really WOWed our guests from the North that are not used to seeing these. Jenny made us an awesome Dunkin donuts cake- colorful and complete with a Dunkin cup and donut on top. The cakes were also reasonably priced compared to others that we explored. We would highly recommend going with Sweet Life for your wedding cakes! Can't wait to go back and have a slice of their cake for a future anniversary.

Loved the chocolate chip cake groom's cake - it looked fabulous and tasted amazing! And they even made a little statue of the bride's and groom's dog riding a surfboard to put on top! We also ordered a lot of their amazing chocolate chip cookies. Highly recommend!

was very easy to work with. I had gotten my wedding cake idea from Pinterest. I told her exactly how I wanted the cake and she did just that. My husband didn’t want a groom’s cake. But when we had a tasting with different flavors of cake and icing. He realized that he wanted a groom’s cake. The groom’s cake he chose was a Reese’s cake that was a two layer cake, with the top layer cake “looked like a bite was taken out of”. The Reese’s cake was more of a hit then the actual wedding cake. We would highly recommend Sweet Life Bakery.

ound out 2 wks before our wedding that drew & I are expecting our first baby! So it’s taken me some time to get around & do reviews, etc) but I was working 3 jobs, he 2, in order for us to pay for our wedding in cash, & meeting with vendors was next near to impossible, however, Jenny & I had probably sent over 130 emails!!! 😂 we had went to Haydels originally, Bc the price was closer to what we wanted to spend, but we had so many ideas for the cake, that they ended up throwing everything on a sheet for a mock run & it was terrible! When Jenny & I met, I had this calm feeling come over me! We told her what we wanted, or what we could start with, & then she just met us half way & said “oh what about doing this!”... & it pieced together perfectly! We def. do not regret spending what we spent on our cake! We were so anxious to see & taste our cake the day of the wedding, & besides me being pregnant, when I walked in the venue & saw it for the first time, I teared up! It was beyond beautiful, & then the taste, to die for! They use the absolute best ingredients, the cakes are always so tasteful, yet fluffy & so light & airy! When she brought out the samples, we thought it was ice cream on the trey! 😂 We were a bit disappointed with our venue Bc we didn’t really get to eat an entire piece, but, we had plenty when we got home! 😋 They also made my husbands grooms cake, which was a crawfish pot with all the fixings, & again, that was a piece of work! The cakes are so beautiful & uniquely made, you don’t even want to eat them! Lol I can’t say enough ab Jenny, Jessica, & the rest of their team for making this brides dream cake a reality! They will def have customers for life from us, I’ve told numerous ppl ab them & hopefully they have gone & got something, you will not be disappointed! They are extremely creative & helpful! We are going to get our baby shower cake done from the sweet life as well.. as long as they can squeeze us in! 😛😍🍰 Thx, Jenny! (It’s a shame you can’t add a picture!!)

nervous about how the cake would turn out but the promptness and professionalism demonstrated by Jenny immediately put me at ease (and though we didn't take her up on the offer, she was willing to ship tasting samples all the way to Arizona!) Our semi-naked, two-tier cake with gold leaf was delivered to our reception venue on time and without issue. It was absolutely stunning, and the traditional almond flavor was perfect. We received so many compliments from our guests, especially the 10-and-under crowd (who are, of course, cake experts), and we will definitely be ordering cupcakes from The Sweet Life for every anniversary!!

We had not one single complaint about any of it. Everything was delicious and fresh. Our wedding cake was a topsy-turvy style cake - which was beautiful and an absolute hit! Everyone loved the shape and look. The taste of the cake was to die for. Even several days after the wedding, it was still fresh and delicious. 100% satisfied with The Sweet Life, and we would highly recommend them!
