ife online and thought they had the most creative cakes from their pictures. Our wedding was a masquerade theme in October and creative was a necessity. The location in Annandale was insane and I couldn't get enough of how wonderful all of the cakes were in the showroom. Norman is very friendly and had excellent suggestions. In the end we literally sent him pictures of details we were incorporating in to our wedding theme including the bride and groom masks and left it up to him for the design. They recreated the masks in perfect detail on the cake. I had also fallen in love with the metallic colors they have used on some of their competition pieces and all over our cake were perfect copper fall leaves. Like they had just floated down from a tree and all around the cake. We had ordered a custom topper that never arrived from a website due to a shipping mishap, but even without a topper, it was the most perfect cake for our wedding. And the taste was phenomenal. We did the tasting and revealed to everyone that our flavors were vanilla and chocolate. We were met with surprised confusion for not choosing raspberry orange or some other crazy flavor combination that seems to be popular nowadays. When the guests tasted the cake at the wedding, no one wondered anymore. Simple flavors with out-of-this-world texture and taste. Beauty AND substance!

mell the sweet cake aroma then you walk into cake heaven!!! There is a slew of cakes before your eyes: big cakes, small cakes, colorful, tradition, leaning to the side, standing upright, themed, simply artistic....and the list goes on and on (no exaggeration)!! We were so amazed at all of his work. We were like kids in a candy store. We feel in love with a very detailed lace cake that had a fondant staircase coming down the middle. It looked very simple, somewhat traditional but most importantly, well done! It was exactly what we wanted (though pictures we compiled from online were quite different). He was great to work with and really know his stuff. I loved that he worked from home and was still very very professional. And can't forget the quality of the cake: FANTASTIC times two!!! Everyone LOVED the cake. My husband and I can't WAIT to eat our cake again on our one year anniversary. I will definitely be using his services for my husband's birthday since he loved the taste so much. He is definitely and two thumbs up, five star bakery and the Food Network didn't make a mistake in choosing him a winner for some of their cake challenges. Thanks Norman!
