The Sweet Peace made an amazing cake, plus some surprise after-wedding cupcakes for us! Alli made us a cake we loved (gorgeous and tasty) and made me feel a lot calmer in the wedding process. She also didn't oversell me - she helped me pick a backup sheet cake for the guests so we could keep the display cake a little smaller. Can't recommend enough.

Ahhh our cake was SO beautiful! Allison nailed my vision! and it was even more beautiful than I could have hoped for. She was very sweet and super accomodating. It was very apparent that all she cares about is ensuring you get exactly what you want. Aside from looks, the cake tasted delicious too. Highly recommend!!

Allison not only did our wedding cake but at the last second, agreed to make a custom cake for our rehearsal dinner. Both cakes were incredibly designed, masterfully decorated and best of all, delicious! Allison is a dream to work with, she is so responsive, friendly and makes you feel like family. Our guests raved that it was too good to be a wedding cake and we said you have to go see Alison, you’ll walk into her shop and know by the smell you made the right decision!

I highly recommend The Sweet Peace! Allison, the owner, is so sweet. I do recommend calling, not emailing her. When we sat down to go over our cake, she was very helpful and drew us a clear visual on what our cake would look like, how big it would be based on our guest count etc. I feel like most bakeries that are included in venues give you a certain amount of options to choose from, but she was very open to making our cake what we wanted. She gave us mini cupcakes of all different cake/icing varieties so that we could do our tasting at home and even gave us some more just to eat on our ride home. We ended up having a white with pink ombre cake and gold flake and choosing a Vanilla cake with Lemon Raspberry filling. It was so good and everyone was raving over it. She allowed us to use a cake stand free of charge, gave us some cake to go home with the next day and also gave us a mini one year anniversary cake!

From our first phone call, I knew Allison was the perfect person to create our wedding cake! Her team is so fiercely talented. We were blown away by her stunning design of a single tiered hat-box cake with fresh flowers ( the flowers were actively designed and sculpted with wire, not just placed on top it was incredibly detailed!). We chose Smores as a custom flavor and our guests absolutely LOVED it. We received so many compliments. They even packed us an anniversary cake separate to take home with us. Would 10/10 recommend this bakery for a unique style, friendly service, and absolute dream of a cake. you will not be disappointed!

The cake was beautiful and delicious, but let’s talk about Alison, the owner. OH MY GOD she is literally the nicest person I’ve ever met. When we went for our cake tasting, she gave us so many extra goodies and was so helpful when it came to designing the cake because we had no idea what we wanted. Our flavors were lemon cake, vanilla buttercream, vanilla cake, cinnamon buttercream, and lemon cake (btw, my husband picked the lemon and he is usually a chocolate lover!). We got so many compliments about how light and delicious the cake was. Can’t wait to eat it again on our 1 year anniversary LOL.

Alison and her team are amazing. From the design meeting to seeing our cake on our wedding day, the whole process was great. Alison understood our vision and the cake flavor was delicious. All of our guests were completing how good the cake was.

Our wedding cake was the most amazing cake we have ever had and its all because of Allison and everyone at Sweet Peace! Not only were the flavors absolutely delicious and unique but it was so beautiful too. It was so easy and fun to work with Allison. She's amazing and really listened to everything we wanted. Allison is the BEST! When we went for our wedding cake tasting, she sat down with us and we nailed down all the details of our cake. She sent us home with 15 cupcakes of all the different flavors, and then gave us an additional dozen of ones that we thought we'd like the most. I loved that we could taste the cakes over the course of the week. We went with a lemon cake with lemon-raspberry filling - it was so unbelievably delicious. We got so many compliments on the cake at the wedding!

The Sweet Peace made our dream wedding cake. We wanted buttercream frosting with intricate sugar flowers cascading on one side of our cake and we got the most beautiful version of this. The cake looked like a piece of art, was the perfect texture, and was totally delicious. We were given a tier wrapped and ready to be eaten on our 1-year anniversary and honestly, I kind of don't want to wait until then cause the cake was so good I want to eat more of it now. I planned my wedding from out of state and traveling to plan things with vendors in person was difficult with COVID. Allison was so helpful and accommodating every step of the way, making it possible for my Maid of Honor to do our tasting safely and with tons of flavors to try (we ended up going with the lemon cake with the raspberry cream filling). She was straightforward with the pricing and helped us find a way to have a positively gorgeous cake within our budget. Also, she is incredibly kind and down-to-earth. I highly, highly recommend The Sweet Peace.

We had the best experience ever with this bakery - the cake was included in our venue pricing through this bakery, and I can definitely see why! Working with Alison to schedule and have our tasting, which was just down right fun... to showing her our vision for the cake on the day of, and then actually SEEING and EATING it at our wedding was perfect all the way through. They really incorporated everything we asked for, and it was simply delicious!!! We even asked for an extra birthday cupcake for our nephew to have on the day of the wedding, and they made it sooo cute!

Our venue works with The Sweet Peace so we met with Alison to create our wedding cake. She made it a very fun and personal experience and because of covid we had our cake tasting to go. Literally every flavor was amazing but we went with chocolate cake and Oreo buttercream. This was the BEST CAKE IVE EVER HAD. Our officiant (who has done almost 100 weddings) said it was her favorite cake from any wedding she had been to - for how beautiful it looked and for how delicious it tasted! We’re still getting compliments on it. We’ll definitely be regulars at this bakery from now on!

Sweet Peace was recommended by our venue, but now I am a customer for life! This is a NUT FREE facility and I have a tree nut allergy so double bonus. From the moment we sat down with Allison we knew we were in good hands. I worked at a bakery for 5 years so I know how much hard work goes into running one. She was so patient with us and turned our vision into reality with a beautiful cherry blossom design and her added touch of a gold "sexy edge" in buttercream. She gave us over a dozen flavors to try and asked us what our favorites were. My husbands was the marble/salted caramel and mine was coffee with maple cream. (my husband hates coffee) She convinced us to try the 2 flavors together and WOW, we knew that was it. She even gave us another box of cupcakes to take home so we could share it with our friends and family. Our guests LOVED the cake and were asking for seconds. Please support this wonderful local business. They treat every one of their customers like family.

A cake from Sweet Peace was included when booking with our wedding venue. Allison, the owner, is one of the sweetest people I have ever met! I ended up having to go to the tasting by myself and she made me feel so comfortable. She sent me home with a tray of mini cupcakes to have me and my Fiancé taste together. We used Sweet Peace Bakery for our wedding cake. We were referred to Sweet Peace through our venue, and were so pleased with how everything turned out! Allison was so lovely, and every single cake flavor we tried at our tasting was excellent! The designs she made on the cake were simple but so classic and pretty, exactly like what we wanted.

During wedding planning we dealt with so many vendors. Allison and everyone at Sweet Peace stood out as probably the most genuine and easiest to deal with. If all vendors were as easy to deal with as Sweet Peace wedding planning would be a lot less stressful! Sweet Peace had the most variety in cake and icing flavors. When we went to the tasting we really could have picked any of the countless options. Allison went though all the design options for our cake and in the end it came out exactly how we explained it to her. As for the cake itself, we received so many compliments on the taste and originality of our cake. We can’t wait to eat it again on our 1 year anniversary! I should also mention that we tried some of their other baked goods and they were all amazing. We found our new favorite bakery in the area. Allison (the owner) is simply the BEST! I am a procrastinator and Allison worked with me to get my tastings and dream cake completed only 2 weeks before my wedding! My florist wanted to charge $100 to put a few flowers on my cake, which I thought was absurd. So instead, I bought a few different cake toppers (e.g., flowers and leaves) from Michaels and dropped them off at Sweet Peace. Allison worked her magic and turned my cake into a masterpiece. It was simply GORGEOUS. I got so many compliments on both the beauty AND deliciousness of our wedding cake. THANK YOU SO MUCH, ALLISON AND EVERYONE AT SWEET PEACE!

After attending many weddings at Bridgeview Yacht Club I knew that they always had the best wedding cake ever so when I started planning my own wedding I knew I had to find out who Bridgeview used!! I met with Alison on a Saturday afternoon and had a tasting - every single cake was better than the next! We decided on Confetti Cake with buttercream frosting, no fondant and said we were going with a very earthy feel with lots of greenery. When we got to our wedding we were absolutely floored at how stunning the cake was!! And every single guest commented on how delicious it was. And the best part, they flash froze a second cake topper and dropped it off at the venue for our One year anniversary. And knowing how good the cake was I don’t know how I’ll be able to live with it in my freezer for another 11 months without eating it!

The Sweet Peace was the bakery that our venue uses and I am so thankful for that. The tasting went so smoothly and Alison is such a doll. Our cake...wow! I don’t even like cake and I was obsessed with it and MULTIPLE people asked me where we got it for weeks after our wedding! We live in NJ and would drive to her to get another cake for a special occasion. They also flags freeze and extra layer of your cake for you so you have one for your first anniversary that hasn’t been left out for your whole wedding day which is so thoughtful!

Allison at The Sweet Peace made picking out a wedding cake so easy! She was the vendor used at my venue, Bridgeview Yacht Club, and I could not of been happier with the delicious cake, everyone loved it! The entire process was so easy, she listened to exactly what my fiancé and I wanted and made the most perfect cake! Allison is just that, passionate, inspiring, humble, and kind. She gets messy, she's hands on, she gets your vision and then exceeds your expectations with it. She turned my dream wedding cake into a reality and then made it even better by adding your creativity to it. We didn't plan on doing a cake cutting at our wedding because we thought we would be too busy dancing and let me tell you. The second we walked in to the venue I marched in to the room to find my cake. It was something I was soooo excited to see and the moment I saw it I knew we would be doing a cake cutting. This cake needed to be seen and needed attention. I ran and idea for a grooms cake passed her and she took it and ran so far and furiously. It was amazing. Above and beyond all of this is the taste of the cakes was just as amazing. Such a fun overall experience during a process that can be stressful on all other aspects. My vote, my heart and my stomach are with The Sweet Peace over and over and over again!

The Sweet Peace did a great job with our cake. Allison was really helpful and easy to talk to. She accommodated our request for a small, black cake with gold accents for just the two of us to share and did it all within our small budget. They have an account with our venue (The Loft By Bridgeview) and that made it even easier to communicate about delivery and such. Would definitely recommend.

The Sweet Peace made our daughter's FIRST COMMUNION cake this weekend and I just wanted to RAVE every place I could think of to share our joy!!! such a weird experience. We met with Allison in May of 2017 for our July 2018 wedding. We were planning things early because I was about to move out of state and wouldn't be able to go to cake tastings for a long time. We loved her and we loved the cakes. in June of 2017 we told her to give us an official proposal for budgeting purposes and she said she would get back to us within a week. We never got a proposal. We waited until November 2017 to ask again. she said she would give us a proposal within the week. never got one. I contacted her again in January of 2018 and told her that we really need a Proposal otherwise we would start looking somewhere else. she apologized And said she would send it tomorrow. Never got one. We started looking at other places and each place we looked sent us proposals within the week of meeting without us even having to ask. We found a place we loved as much as sweet peace (sweet duchess) and they sent us an official invoice as well as specific visions for the designs of our cake. We are all set with them after having just met a week ago! no matter how good their cakes are, do not trust the most important day of your life with a company this flaky. you never should have to beg a company for a proposal.

We can’t say enough about how great working with Allison has been! Allison recently created our wedding cake. Allison’s work is truly amazing, guests can’t stop raving about how gorgeous our cake looked! Allison worked us to create the look we wanted and came up with the most perfect design. Not only did it look amazing, but it tasted fantastic too. Since my wife and I are vegans, we were excited to have vegan cupcakes for ourselves while our guests enjoyed a typical cake at the end of the night. We highly recommend Allison for an eye-catching, delicious wedding cake!

We feel so lucky to have found The Sweet Peace bakery to make our wedding cake. The owner, Allison, is one of the nicest people we've met during the whole wedding process. We knew from the moment we sat down with her that this was going to be our wedding cake vendor. She gave us a huge amount of samples to try, plus extras to take home to our parents AND extras for us to try again later to help us make our decision (everything is so delicious that deciding on the filling and cake was no easy task). Allison also worked with us to get as close as possible to our budgeted cost for our cake without compromising what we envisioned. On our big day the cake looked absolutely STUNNING - it was exactly what we asked for and tasted amazing. I am still hearing from people how much they loved it. We can't wait to eat our 1 year anniversary cake - which they throw in for free and bake separately from the cake so that it doesn't sit out during the entire event! One last thing to mention is that her bakery is 100% nut free - no need to worry about anyone's allergies here :) Thanks so much Sweet Peace for making our cake selection process a breeze! Our wedding cake was so gorgeous, I cried. It was better than what I had imagined. The artistry and creativity that went into it was such a masterpiece. Our theme was Christian Romance - Faith, Hope, Love using the colors true purple and silver. We chose chocolate cake with a layer of oreo buttercream and a layer of black forest buttercream. So it not only looked great but tasted AMAZING. In fact, my guests liked the cake so much that my husband and I almost didn't get a slice to take home. Even if they did, Allison gave us an anniversary tier as a bonus to take home so we would still be able to enjoy our delicious cake. The cake tasting was very fun and in addition, we got samples to take home, how great is that! Her cake prices are very reasonable and worth every penny. I'm sure glad I booked Allison to make my wedding cake. Oh what Sweet Peace!

I am so happy we found The Sweet Peace! Not only was our wedding cake beautiful and delicious, but the bakery is nut free. As someone who has had food allergies her whole life, it means a lot to find a place that really understands and cares about accommodating food allergies. Everything they make there is so delicious - our guests couldn’t stop talking about how great the cake was! I would highly recommend The Sweet Peace for occasion cakes - whether you have food allergies or you just want a great, delicious cake!

The Sweet Peace made us the MOST BEAUTIFUL cake! People are still talking about it. The ladies are so creative and true visionaries. They took the time to sit with me during the first appointment and really got a feel for what I wanted. I shared with them that I would be getting married at a rooftop venue in Ling Island City. In an instant, they suggested that I should include some elements of the 59th Street Bridge in my cake. They sketched it on the spot and I fell in love. We added other features as we went and I was so excited about the process. Once the day came and I saw my cake, I was flawed. It was absolutely gorgeous.

If I could rate with half stars I'd rate them 4.5. The cake was absolutely delicious and was exactly what I envisioned and more. Allison is a true artist and was so much fun to talk to at our tasting. My one and only minor note is that it was hard to get in touch with them via e-mail. I was trying to confirm things and it took them quite a while to respond. If you are someone who gets anxious and needs someone to respond quickly, they might not work for you. Otherwise the cake was seriously amazing! Blew everyone away. She listened to all my ideas and morphed the cake into a delicious work of art.

The Sweet Peace made my vision into an edible peace of art. They are so easy to work with and creative. My daughter was so surprised with her cake. It tasted even better than it looked and that is a big accomplishment because it was just stunning.Having a nut free bakery for my guests safety was also a very big relief. I could not be happier with my wedding cake and cupcake favors that I got from Sweet Peace in Lynbrook, NY! The cake was beautiful and tasted amazing- we got marble cake with Oreo buttercream and grandma's cookies buttercream fillings. The cupcakes were amazing too - we got cinnamon and funfetti flavors. Everyone raved about cake and cupcakes! On top of everything being beautiful and delicious, the service was fantastic! Allison and her team are extremely nice, professional and fun to work with! I cannot recommend Sweet Peace enough to any bride or even anyone who needs a fantastic cake!

Best wedding cake ever! We have baker in family and even they were blown away! I hate fondant icing but theirs is so tasty that I was just eating it off the cake. All high quality ingredients. We were eating cake week later and it was still fresh! The flavors were classic or you could go fun(we did a maple pancake and oatmeal cookie frosting with chocolate, yellow, and mocha cake). So many people asked for their info so they could order cakes too!

We met with the Sweet Peace about six months before the wedding and we loved them right away. The tasting was awesome; 24 mini cupcakes of different combos! It was delicious and we chose cinnabon for our wedding cake. The wedding cake was beautiful, however I was slightly bothered because I had a very specific color scheme of cream and blush. I made note of the fact that it said cream and blush on our contract with the Sweet Peace, and some of the sugar flowers on our cake were more bright peach and orange-y. It's really not a big deal, and I'm sure no one noticed but me, but because it was out of our color scheme, it did dampen my love of the wedding cake a little. That being said, Allison (the chef) was great and I would still recommend them.

My name is Margaret. My husband and I were married on January 19th at Bridgeview Yacht Club. We met with Allison about a month before our wedding and she understood what we would like and what we wanted completely. All of my guests keep saying how gorgeous our cake was and how delicious it was as well. It really was gorgeous and was more than I hoped it would be-- thank you Allison!!!

My husband and I were absolutely floored at how great our experience was at Sweet Peace - it was so different than other places! When we went for our consult, we sat down with Allison herself - the baker! Instead of telling us what she does or wanted to do or handing us a book of "templates" to choose from, she asked us questions about ourselves and our wedding - the theme, the experience we wanted it to be, our colors. We knew that we were not just another number! She took the time to really understand our vision for our cake and genuinely wanted it to be reflective of us. Of course, her cakes also happen to be heavenly! When we did our tasting, we couldn't even believe how good everything tasted! Choosing Allison and Sweet Peace for our wedding cake was easy. We could have gotten a cake as part of our package from our vendor at no extra cost, but after sitting down with Allison, there was no question in our minds that it was worth going with her!! We have been to so many weddings where the cake was less than stellar and ours was beyond delicious! We got so many compliments on how yummy it was! Thank you Allison and the team at Sweet Peace! Everyone at the Sweet Peace was so helpful, from the first time we went in there for out cupcake tasting to our visit the day before our wedding. Allyson is such an amazing and down to earth person, she will truly do anything she can to make sure your cake, dessert etc is absolutley perfect and DELICIOUS. Their mini cupcake tower was a huge hit and we offered 7 flavors to our guests and with the images from Sweet Peace we were able to make a menu for our guests to see. If you are looking for a specialty cake or mini cupcakes at a great price and full flavor definetly visit them.

I was completely blown away by our wedding cake! It was EXACTLY what I wanted. Also, by far, going to our cake tasting was probably my favorite part of wedding planning. I had a very stressful day and sitting down talking to Allison about her cakes and designs was so much fun!!!! You can tell she is so entirely passionate about what she does and truly enjoys it!! Can't wait to go back and visit for more cake!!! PS all the guests raved about how delicious the cake was!!

This bakery was a real FIND for us since we wanted a different type of wedding cake from the typical wedding cakes. As soon as we tried the cupcakes it was love at first bite!!!! Allison the owner presented us with a variety of her cupcakes that she can create a wedding cake with and my husband fell in love with her coffee cake and caramel sea salt buttercream frosting!!! ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!! We are still eating it almost 3 weeks later!!!

Allison and her team were so nice and were able to create a truly beautiful wedding cake for us that we were able to design together based on key pieces of our special day. My wedding cake came out exactly how I wanted! It was fun and super delicious! I sat down with Allison and designed the cake from scratch. I knew I wanted a square cake with polka dots and after she drew out both of our ideas it was perfection! I also got my hubby a grooms cake which was a huge hit! Allison created a replica of his boat and boy was it awesome! We had many future grooms request a cake after seeing his. Sorry brides! :-) Thank you again!

We went to The Sweet Peace because it is the house bakery for the reception hall we used for our wedding. We met with Allison and she gave us mini cupcake samples of her cake flavors and buttercreams, we even got to take the extras home. Allison is a very sweet person and easy to work with. Her cake designs are very creative. We chose two different fillings for our wedding cake vanilla cake with oreo buttercream (soo delicious) and canoli buttercream. The wedding cake not only looked beautiful but tasted amazing! We ended up ordering a cake for our rehersal dinner as well, I chose lemon cake with a raspberry preserve filling, it was such a great combination everyone loved it. People told me that the cake was a little too sweet for them, but I prefer it!

We got cupcakes because we wanted to have a variety of flavors for our guests. And we got a LOT of flavors - maybe 10 or 12? Well, they were all delicious! I have friends that now stalk this bakery, because they were so good! Allison made us a big black and white cookie cupcake so that we had something to cut, and that's what's sitting in our freezer waiting for our anniversary! The hundreds of cupcakes we ordered were gone in half an hour, because people couldn't stop trying all the different flavors. It was a great experience and I would work with Sweet Peace again and again! Everything looked beautiful and tasted amazing and we were so happy to have them be a part of our wedding!

The price of the cake was included in our hall rental so I can't be too picky BUT we discussed many many things that just didn't happen. We wanted 2 flavors of cupcakes and only got one and the topper was so poorly done that the venue opted not to put it out for guests. Generally speaking, just not impressed. The people were very nice but the follow through was sorely lacking.

My guests told me it was the best wedding cake they have ever had. Allison is an artist and an unbelievable chef. They were beautiful cakes and tasted just as amazing. I have since done two other cakes with her. They make you feel like family by the end of the experience. I will never get a special occasion cake anywhere else!

Allison @ the sweet peace is a genius. She took my minimal ideas and creative a visually spectacular and amazingly delicious masterpiece. For someone who does not eat that much cake, i COULD not stop eating it. and neither could any of our guests!! people are still talking about our cake!! I cannot wait to go back there for more treats, because everything we tried there was AMAZING.

We did not get what we discussed. I ordered alot of detail and got an amaturer-ish version of what we discussed. I would not recommend. Nice employees, but customer service is not professional. Never returned calls or emails.

We were so lucky to have an amazing wedding cake made by Alli at The Sweet Peace. Working off of only a tiny picture that I provided, Alli was able to create the cake we dreamed of! Not only was it beautifully designed but it tasted fantastic - people were raving for weeks after the wedding about how good the cake was! We had specific and unusual requests for the cake flavor and I feared that we would not be able to find someone who would create this cake. However, as soon as we told Alli our idea she quickly agreed to make it and it came out perfect-exactly what we wanted! Although Alli has mastered the traditional and classic, she seems to be up for any challenge and will work hard to create any design or flavor - no matter how unusual! Alli was a pleasure to work with and made us feel comfortable from the first time we met for the tasting through to the wedding. As a bride it was a huge relief to be working with a wedding vendor who you never had to worry about. We knew from the beginning that Alli would be on-time, professional and deliver as promised - which she did! We were so impressed by Alli that we've actually continued to get cakes from her for events since the wedding - bridal showers, birthdays, baby showers etc etc. I can't recommend her enough - only good things to say!
