Daniel is absolutely amazing and SAVED my wedding dress. I had an awful experience at another Alterations place (Sew Beautiful Bridal- do NOT go there) and i was given my dress back a week before my wedding with a hole in it and lots of alterations still needing to be done. A brides nightmare. Daniel took my dress in with no hesitation and said he would have it back to me in 2 days. And sure enough! Fixed and fitted like a glove, my dress was in my hands ready to go 2 days later. Words cannot express how grateful i am to have found someone who does such amazing work, and cares enough to make sure brides are happy. I was so stressed out, and so scared. Thank you Daniel for your wonderful work! Your passion for your business truly shows and that is So important. My husbands suit was also tailored by Daniel! And the results were also amazing. He consistently listened to him to find out what fit he was looking for, and nailed it. He provided Knowledgeable insight on the comfort of different fittings, and always had good suggestions.

Daniel did an amazing job tailoring my wedding dress. The fit was perfect on my wedding day. He is the BEST tailor in Jacksonville. When you are planning a wedding, there are so many things to worry about, but if you bring your dress to Daniel, you will have nothing to worry about as far as your dress goes. 100% would recommend using the Tailor Shop for your wedding. He does an amazing job tailoring suits too!

I had the option of getting my wedding dress altered at the boutique I bought it from, however, I chose the Tailor Shop and I couldn’t have been more pleased. Daniel has a separate room for brides which makes the atmosphere much more comfortable. My dress was several sizes too big and I continued to lose weight up until the last week of my wedding. Daniel was extremely patient with my weight loss and continued to make my dress fit so perfectly. I’ve never experienced any issues throughout my alterations and I am so grateful that Daniel took all the stresses of dealing with the dress away from me. You can trust that he will delivery quality work. Not only will he alter your wedding dress so perfectly but he is a master at making dresses and suits. We sent several of our guests for suits and everyone had a great experience. His selection in materials is outstanding. As picky as I am, I truly can’t imagine anyone else doing a better job. I highly recommend The Tailor Shop!

I first heard about The Tailor Shop last year when I needed to have alterations done on an Armani Suit. Daniel provided me with great customer service and he was extremely professional. I felt like my suit was in expert hands and I was confident that he would take care of my expensive suit. He did not let me down, and his work was spot on! Based on his work from the suit, I had to have him make a custom tuxedo for my wedding this month. It’s awesome! Fits like a glove and the material feels like nothing else! He had it ready ahead of schedule and was even able to accommodate me outside of business hours with an appointment. Thanks!

Daniel is the best tailor in Jacksonville, bar none. If you need a suit or tux made, or any alterations, The Tailor Shop is the best place to go. I'm always afraid that a bigger city will take Daniel away from us one day - Jacksonville is lucky to have him as a local tailor.

I called today & requested for a bridal appointment in February 2018 so my sister could come with me to help me into my dress. Whoever answered the phone proceeded to tell me that the shop would provide help getting into my dress & I needed to come in sooner. I said okay I’d still like my sister there & he kept hounding me about going tomorrow which I couldn’t do. He then asked when my wedding was ( May 2018) & told me that he needs me to come in January (which contradicted the website saying there were 3 fittings & the 3rd fitting needed to be 3 weeks out). I insisted on February & he said that was a high bridal season & there would be a fee. Very rude & money hungry. I would not recommend.

Do not use! I showed up for my final appointment 7 days before my wedding, scheduled four weeks prior, with my family and bridesmaids who took off work to be there- to a LOCKED door with a note saying temporarily closed! No phone call, no cancellation. A week from my wedding and my dress was hostage inside!! FOUR days later I finally got a return phone (I think I left about 10 messages) and no apology, no explanation, nothing. I was finally able to get my dress which I could have made the bustle myself it was so bad. But the stress was horrible and not worth it!
