I really was against getting married at a hotel but this is not your typical hotel ballroom wedding venue. The Terrace was the most perfect place to get married. From the first mom...ent we walked in to look at the venue, I could see myself walking down the aisle there. With all the planning, the emailing back and forth for months, the rehearsal, and the wedding day itself, I would choose this venue over and over again. Sure, we chose the venue because it was beautiful and the price point was right but what really closed the deal for us, was the event coordinator, Julie. From the start she was WONDERFUL to work with. Responsive, helpful, friendly, so funny and really put my mind at ease through the whole process. She answered all of my emails even when it was something silly that I was asking about. She goes above and beyond in her role and she deserves all of the recognition. I truly could not imagine what my wedding day would have been like without her. She kept things in check with the bridal party, she stuck to the timeline and she made sure that I (bride) was hydrated, fed and ready to go for the long day and night ahead of me. I could go on and on about her. The venue itself was great, too. The bridal suite was a big bonus for me, as I didn’t want to cram my bridal party in a hotel room to get ready in. It was clean, spacious, had lots of mirrors and natural light and Julie came in multiple times throughout the day while she was setting up to make sure that we had everything we needed. It was nice to be able to have a block of rooms for all of my guests to stay in, too. The hotel was very clean, and the staff were all helpful and friendly. I truly do not have a single complaint and I wouldn’t change a thing about my day at the Hyatt House!
