The Ticket

OH MY GOODNESS! We're still reeling from the amazing wedding we had, and The Ticket is a MASSIVE part of that! They were so much fun, so professional and even let my wild Cousin get on stage to join them for a song. The MADE the party! Their covers were spot on and they knew how to make solid transitions and turn it up, the party never stopped! We recommend Steve and the gang for all weddings and parties! Miss you already!

The Ticket provided dinner and dance music for my daughter's October 2017 wedding. Although the space was a bit challenging acoustically Steve and his band members were able to provide us with the best variety of dance music all night. The band was fun, good natured, adaptable, and had the most incredible energy that got even the shyest guests up on the dance floor. Steve was responsive and easy to work with. Per our request Steve paid strict attention to appropriate sound levels at dinner and for dancing. They even graciously allowed guest musicians to sit in! Nothing compares to a live band to make an event fun and exciting and The Ticket is a phenomenal choice!

Steve and his band were AWESOME at our wedding! They got the entire wedding out on the dance floor - people of all ages could dance to their mix of songs. I will say though, that as a bride who works in event planning and PR, Steve was not very responsive, which is very frustrating when you are trying to plan your own wedding and juggle a million little details. He also didn't end up playing a lot of the songs we had requested, especially the last song of the night, which I was really bummed about. We also danced to a track for our first dance, and his sound engineer didn't start the song from the beginning so we were a bit flustered rushing to remember the routine we practiced and paid to learn at dance lessons. I was really happy when they started playing, but there were points along the way that were frustrating. I will say though, for the cost, it's really worth it to go with The Ticket versus hiring a band from the Boston or Burlington areas. There aren't a ton of options in southern Vermont or New Hampshire, and you and your guests will not be disappointed with Steve and his band. They also played very elegant and classic music during the cocktail hour, which was great. Overall, we were very happy with Steve and his band; but I do think they could be a bit better in communication leading up the day.

Absolutely amazing! From the time The Ticket started playing until the end of the wedding everyone was dancing. Having a live band at the wedding made the whole evening and added something special to the evening. The Ticket provided live music from drinks to dinner to dancing. Excellent job!!!
