We held a small (75 guests) wedding at The Tigermen Den last November. I can't say enough positive things about the venue and the ceremony. My husband and I opted for the 'Full M...
onty' package, and we felt confident from the first consultation that we were in competent hands. Leesaw is an exceptional business owner and event coordinator; she captured all of our ideas and incorporated them into thoughtful touches that really made our evening feel one-of-a kind. Months later, our friends and family are still commenting on the charm of the space and how perfect it was for us. Really grateful to Leesaw and her team for giving us such a lovely experience!
We were looking for an intimate New Orleans venue for a guest list of 75 and the Den fit the bill perfectly. It has so much charm that we hardly had to do any extra work for decora...
tions/supplies. Not only was it a beautiful space, but the people were great to work with. They put us in contact with amazing vendors and our wedding planner who was outstanding (BKco). Would 100% book the Den again.
The Tigermen Den was the perfect venue for our wedding. We wanted something unique to New Orleans and we absolutely found it here. Leesaw and Jessie were fantastic to work with and...
they curated a beautiful space for our reception. We would definitely recommend to anyone.
Tigermen Den was a true New Orleans gem experience!! I had my rehearsal dinner party here and it was such a magical experience. Leesaw Anne was amazing to work with- I trusted her ...
judgment on many decisions and it was like she knew exactly what I wanted. She created a "love alter" area where we had photos of my husband and I and family. It was a total vibe and aligned with who we were as a couple. The food was incredible and my guests are still ranting about it! The space itself is gorgeous and vintage and had the most beautiful outside patio. I leaned on Leesaw Anne for sending me over some live music options and Jacky Blaire and Ross were INCREDIBLE! Everything was so perfect + set us up for an amazing wedding weekend. Don't hesitate to have your next event here, thank you for everything!!! <3
When the pandemic and then a hurricane had us changing our wedding plans multiple times, Leesaw and Phinnie were flexible and helpful all the way through: from pricing to add-on se...
rvices to date changes and guest count changes. When we had to move our ceremony location 2 hrs before it started (because of hurricane power outages) Leesaw worked with our planner and other vendors to make it happen in the courtyard. Our guests were none the wiser and the million or so candles Leesaw put out (due to no electricity) had the space sparklin. The historic building has a ton of character and it's great location near Crescent Park, Bratz Y'all, and Markey's Bar for guests to hang out at before and after. It also was a perfect indoor/outdoor space to use a foodtruck at. Our other caterers were able to use the prep kitchen for all of their setup. Reasonable price, beautiful space, and really friendly owners made the experience for us.
My now-husband and I had our wedding reception at the Tigermen Den in October 2018 and we couldn't have had a better time! Matthew and Phinnie were so incredibly helpful not just d...
ay-of but throughout the entire planning process. They even helped us coordinate having our ceremony at the cute Clouet Gardens directly across the street.
The space was perfect for our size wedding (about 80 people) and they provided almost everything (tables, chairs, water coolers, bar carts, etc.) and had a full kitchen we were able to use. Matthew had sent us a blueprint of the Den as well as an inventory list ahead of time which was extremely helpful when figuring out exactly what else we needed and where everything should go. It also allowed us to keep our costs down. That being said, we were also very thankful they let us stock our own bar and did not require us to use their preferred caterer like most venues do. We were able to have the kegs on the back porch, the bar stocked with our favorite spirits and the pizza stacked ceiling high - just like we had hoped!
Other things we were very happy with was the amount of street parking around this area. My dad was worried about this in particular and thought we would need to hire valet but we decided not to and we had no trouble whatsoever. Also because the venue is so charming, we didn't have to do very much decorating; again, keeping the costs down. They allowed us to hire an attendant (who kept the bathrooms stocked and picked up after guests, keeping the area clean throughout the night) and a bartender through them which was very convenient. We were glad they had SONOS speakers throughout the venue, as well as on the back porch, since we worked hard on our reception playlist and was able to play it off our iPad without having to source a PA system.
It goes without saying that I would high recommend the Tigermen Den for any event - big or small!
Wanted to share my sweet experience having my wedding at The Tigermen Den. I looked at several spaces in New Orleans. I knew I wanted something with a historical flare, I mean wh...
y get married in NOLA and not have a charming old spot. In the end we choose The Tigermen Den for a few reasons. One, it was affordable. We did not want to have an outrageous budget for our wedding and the base rent was totally with in our price range. We had a 60 person wedding . Another point is they let us set up who ever we wanted for catering and bring in our own booze. They recommended a few people they like for events as well. We went with Jacquimos and they were amazing! Professional and the best tasting nola food ever. Phinnie was our point person and she was down to earth and clear. The space is totally adorable and is a good mix of charming and unique. They have a lot more things then other space. Nice hand made wood tables, vintage chairs, table cloths, bar on wheels, vases for flowers, candles, plates, silverware, glassware. It is in the Bywater so its not a super central location and off the beaten path a bit and some parking but most of our guests took uber any ways so that did not matter. They close at 10pm so we had a after toast at Mimi’s down the street but by then the older folks had already head out. My pictures came out great with the wood back grounds and the Clouet Gardens across the street. They have a cute small back yard and lucky for us the weather was great. Phinnie was also helpful with our bar set up and helped us set up a bar with out a lot of waste and set it all up for us. I am glad I got the Den to help with several things so day of I did not have to worry but the things I wanted to do they were fine with us doing it our selves. Overall this could be a good spot for someone looking for a charming spot out side the quarter who wants to have support and not rent everything to bring to the space but wanted to be hands on to planning much of the wedding themselves. Oh and they also run cool events during the week for the community so it felt good to support a space that helps out local. I give the Den at thumbs up!
As a planner, I love working at The Tigermen Den. First of all, the staff are exceptionally tuned-in to the needs of their renters and stretch themselves to offer excellent servic...
e. The bar service they provide is on point, and they always have creative suggestions for how to best use the space.
I LOVE that they include beautiful wooden tables and chairs for your use and also dishes, flatware, and linens! You get so much when you book the den for an intimate wedding, rehearsal dinner, or brunch - especially an experience your guests will never forget.
I also love the location, it's nestled right in the Bywater, which in my opinion is an ideal neighborhood to stay in if you're coming from elsewhere. Great restaurants, dedication to the arts, adorable architecture, history, breweries, and proximity to the Quarter and Marigny neighborhoods make the Bywater a must-stay.
Excellent venue! Easy communication, the contract included so much like furniture and dishes, beautiful indoor space, and exactly what we wanted for our queer wedding! We had aroun...
d 110 people which was perfect, and we spread the bars out to encourage guests to wander. Having spaces away from the music was nice for our guests who weren't interested in dancing.
We hosted our wedding reception at The Tigermen Den and it was amazing! It was the perfect size for our 85 guests plus a full buffet meal and a live band. It is such a charming spa...
ce with so much natural beauty and funky decor that you don't have to do much to dress it up. The courtyard area was perfect as well. It was great that they let us choose our own caterer and provide our own alcohol. The full industrial kitchen was a big help to our caterers. They offer a lot of extras and were super helpful and accommodating. I would recommend The Tigermen Den. I think it would work for a lot of different events!
The most perfect wedding venue! Matt was wonderful and everything went as planned! We had use of the venue all day and access to all of the items he had in storage to use for decor...
ations. It was a beautiful venue and people loved the rustic feel of it!
The building is beautiful and staff is very friendly and accommodating. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a gorgeous and intimate reception.

essly, and even called the food vendor when they hadn't shown up by the time things had started. The venue itself is just so kitschy, and Lou was absolutely a wonderful help during the reception.
We had our ceremony and reception at the Tigermen Den in March 2017. Its truly an amazing venue with some beautiful history.... Its rustic and intimate, yet distinctly hip. Matt, o...
ur liaison, was incredibly helpful with everything, from helping with set-up to serving as our bar tender. We couldn't possibly have asked for a better place to get married!
This place is totally amazing--the space is gorgeous and needs no decoration besides what they provide, and Matthew is the consummate professional (as well as hilarious). He helped...
make sure our plannerless wedding went off without a hitch--coordinating seamlessly with our caterers, advising us about how to stock the bar and work the speaker system, coming up with special touches to delight our guests, calming our nerves, and serving as our bartender on the big night, among other things. He went above and beyond to make everything lovely. Can't recommend this magical place highly enough.
