Looking for an elegant venue with rich history to host your next event? The Jackson County Tower building could be just what you're looking for! Located in the heart of downtown Jackson the County Tower Building was built in 1929 by Detroit architect Albert Kahn. Originally built as the Union and Peoples National Bank the second floor is where the tellers were located. In 2021 original architectural elements were restored and preserved including floor to ceiling Italian Travertine marble, paneled walnut wainscoting, and St. Genevieve rose marble in the lobby. The ceiling, twenty-eight feet in height, is slightly curved and finished in modeled plaster designs. The leaded stained glass windows, designed after the Davanzati Palace in Florence, Italy, have bronze work, rose tinted translucent imported glass and a shield motif. The 4,800 square foot space is a unique, one of a kind design that creates a stunning setting for wedding receptions, private parties, and corporate events for as many as 200 seated guests. The Tower Ballroom's talented and knowledgeable staff strive for your satisfaction from beginning to end. We will work together to accommodate your needs.
