The Trestle Bakery

The Trestle makes AMAZING FOOD! I was excited to work with them and I was NOT disappointed with the food they provided for the wedding! Not a single person had a complaint about the food or cake!! The price for them catering the entire event was fantastic as well! The problem I had was more with the quality of how well they followed through with what we had asked to happen on the wedding day. As the Bride, with 3 years to plan, I had everything planned out exactly how I wanted it and even though I had expressed those details to the company multiple times, they fell through on most. I had to have my groom go and change the lighting for the hall after we sat down and then they changed it back until another member of my bridal party changed them to how we had designed the room and told them not to touch them again. My cake was beautiful and delicious, but they left no room for it to be cut because the layers were so similar in size! The cake was also over priced considering we gave them all the decor supplies! I had a buffet style dinner and we had asked for all food to be left out until a half hour before the end of the event. Almost 2 hours before the end of the night they had already taken almost all the food away. My mother had to go back to the kitchen and ask them to bring it back out and only 4 platters came back out. We were also promised that since we had paid for the food, all leftovers would be sent home with us. THIS WAS MY BIGGEST PROBLEM!! We had 50 people not show up and 20 others decline to late that we had to pay for anyway based on our contract and we came home with barely any food! Several guests saw a whole prime rib leave the hall and we got none of it!! If my decision was based solely on how good the food was and the prices I would recommend this business again, but if you have specific details in mind, I would say no.
