Based in Central Vermont: The Tricksters perform all over New England; from Boston, Massachusetts to New York City, Portsmouth, New Hampshire to Portland, Maine, Burlington, Vermont to Greenwich CT. Collectively, the band members have done nationwide tours from New York to California.

d of all the important moments (first dance, processional/recessional, parent dances) flawless.
We asked them to learn (and cut/piece together) a song by Lauren Daigle for my entrance down the aisle, as well as “the story” by Brandi Carlile, for our first dance. Both are a bit risky as Lauren Daigle and Brandi Carlile have big voices and The Tricksters blew us out of the water.
Our reception was rockin- many of our guests danced their hearts out, which is just what we wanted. The next day, almost everyone kept commenting, “The Tricksters were fantastic, where on earth did you find them, and do they play anywhere else?”
In short, they’re fantastic and we wish they played somewhere in VT on weekends; we’d absolutely be in the crowd! RUN don’t walk in hiring them.

out us having to worry or think about what comes next throughout the evening. The music was SO MUCH FUN and they played a perfect mix of music for all generations. Guests kept telling me how much they loved the band. Leading up to the wedding, Seth and Lisa were amazing and had calls with us on multiple occasions to make sure everyone was on the same page with how our evening wanted to go. On a personal note, they were such kind and wonderful people to work with- they made a point of connecting with all of the important people in our event and were even there to comfort our flower girl when she refused to walk down the aisle and started crying! For anyone looking for a local, dedicated, very talented, and reasonably priced band, I 10 out of 10 recommend the Tricksters!

were organized and kept everything flowing. During the reception, the band absolutely KILLED. They played a wide variety of songs and were so fun to dance to! I had many family and friends tell me how great the band was. I told them “Duh, that’s why I hired them!” 😆. If you want a group of super talented musicians to help keep your wedding organized, fun and full of dancing/singing guests, hire The Tricksters!

From the start of wedding planning all the way through to our big day in August 2018, we absolutely loved the Tricksters - and so did our guests! They were incredibly easy (and fun...
) to work with, and put on an amazing show for an affordable price. They were also unbelievably accommodating - learning two new songs just for us and going out to visit our venue months before the wedding to make sure the stage and tent set-up would meet their needs. On the day of the wedding, they showed up exactly on time as expected, and were set up well before our ceremony. They also did a call with us the week before the wedding to make sure all final details were squared away. We heard from the event coordinator at our venue that they loved working with the band as well.
In terms of their performance, the Tricksters played a live song during our ceremony, which was a highlight for us and our guests, and they played our first dance song live, which made that moment so much more special and fun for us to dance to. We had not heard them perform either song before the wedding, and they completely blew us away. We wanted to make sure our wedding reception felt like a big dance party, and they definitely succeeded in making that happen. Our dance floor was never empty from 7:30-11 PM, and even with a wedding of only 75 guests, it actually felt packed all night. Our guests actually chanted "one more song" at the end of the night, that's how into it people were, so they finished out the night with "Closing Time" - which was perfect. Their song choices - 80s, 90s, classic rock, and party faves - were ideal for our guests, who ranged in age from late 20s to late 70s. In terms of their musical quality, they're legitimately talented, with killer vocals and guitar skills. Our friends had so much fun dancing at our wedding, they actually went to a Tricksters show at a local bar while we were on our honeymoon to relive the night!
If we could do our wedding all over again, we'd book the Tricksters in a heartbeat.
