Their list of recommended vendors was a literal lifesaver in picking out the key people in the wedding. Victoria was checking in and keeping me on track throughout the whole planning process. The space is gorgeous. The house has a bridal, groom, and family suites upstairs to get ready in. Downstairs is a nice area for cocktail hour. The ballroom was large and beautiful for our reception. There are also many places outside to have a ceremony! They were so flexible in allowing me to use the space in a way that made sense for us. Everything is so personalized and unique to your wedding. Now, if that wasn't a 5 star review in itself the day of coordination might as well bump it up to a 10 star. On the wedding day Victoria made sure I was 100% stress free by organizing my vendors, keeping the bridal room calm, and doing every behind the scene thing you can imagine. The wedding was outdoors overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains and it was a cold November day, so Victoria set up a hot chocolate station with blankets to keep our guests comfortable. During the reception she made sure my husband and I were eating, drinking, and having a great time. They were even flexible enough to extend the reception for an hour because everyone was having so much fun! I couldn't ask for a better wedding. Thank you to The Trivium and Victoria for a day I will never forget!

We immediately felt at home there and our daughter and her fiance agreed immediately upon viewing the online tour. Our experience was fabulous: Heidi was easy to work with and made the planning and wedding day go smoothly. Everything met or exceeded our expectations. This is a very special place.

The brides suite was nice, but the real selling point for us was the groom suite! They loved getting to have a drink and play video games while waiting for the ceremony. Another big plus about the Trivium is the ballroom. It ended up raining on our wedding day, which was a bummer, but we are so grateful they had such a beautiful indoor space available. Other venues we looked at didn't have that. I would definitely recommend the Trivium to anyone getting married in this area!

I was very upset because my ceremony was planned to be outside under the pergola, but since the Trivium has many different locations to be married on the estate, I was able to have my ceremony inside the ball room! My special day couldn't have gone any smoother or be more organized! They turned what i thought was going to be a disaster because of the rain into a beautiful fairytale !

choosing The Trivium for our wedding were: .Gorgeous venue- I wanted the southern estate and garden feel; my husband wanted those Virginia mountain views. The Trivium gave us both since there is a spot in front that provided a gorgeous mountain backdrop and field for our sunset pictures. Just breathtaking! Also- The ballroom space is updated and the perfect alternative if you plan an outside event that needs to be brought indoors. I was not worried about rain because the stage with the twinkling lights as a backdrop makes for a beautiful ceremony as well. .Convenient location- Out of the way yet still close to a grocery store if you forget or need anything. Easy for our guests to find and drive to with a large parking area and very importantly- ADA accessible. .Impeccable upkeep of the house and landscaping. -One example: Extreme heat hit before our wedding, causing some flowers/bushes to scorch or die. They were all fixed the day before, as the owners took the time to cut back all the scorched shrubbery, so it looked perfect and showcased the beautiful surviving flowers. .The all-inclusive option. -Highly recommended- Having top notch, vetted vendors already chosen saved us so much time and energy trying to piece all that together. Plus the package vendors know the venue and each other so well and work together flawlessly. . Built in wedding co-ordinator who also is a venue owner. It's the perfect additional perk. Heidi is amazing. She is impressively responsive and answered all our questions about the day with the added knowledge only a venue owner would have. I didn't have to worry about anything during the rehearsal, ceremony, or reception. She thought of everything. . The Trivium staff- Additionally, the staff was awesome. Their service and attention to detail made the day flawless. And they're all professional yet friendly. That matters at such a fun event! That's just a few of the perks that come with choosing this venue for your event. In our opinion, no venue could have topped The Trivium for our wedding. Heidi, the staff, and all the recommended vendors were perfect, and everyone went above and beyond to make our vision for our big day come to life.

The beautiful antebellum style house surrounded by beautifully grassed lawns and century old trees was a picture setting for my daughters wedding. Always there to assist us bring the vision to life was Victoria and Heidi. From the first handshake and meeting to the last minutes of the wedding and reception. They were always there to help create the very special day that my daughter had dreamed of. Very professional but at the same time very friendly and hospitable. It was almost as though they became part of the wedding with their caring and helpful assistance. I would definitely recommend them for your special occasion.

The staff were so attentive to the needs of not only the bride/groom, family and wedding party but the needs of every single guest. I appreciated how well established this venue and it's staff were while working with other vendors. Not only were they known by the vendors but they made sure to coordinate all of the behind the scenes work to ensure that day of event everyone knew their role and where they were expected at what time. Aside from the wonderful staff, The Trivium Estate is absolutely gorgeous! Although we chose to have an indoor church ceremony, I made sure to have all of our pictures taken on site at the Estate. I am still gawking at the pictures we have at this venue. Choosing The Trivium Estate for our reception site was the BEST choice we made during our wedding planning and we would not have changed a thing!!

After looking around the area, their wedding packages had the best value for the location, space, everything that came included in the wedding & reception packages (they have multiple tiers to work with any budget), and we just couldn't have possibly picked a better venue. If you're looking for a place to get married in the Forest, Bedford, Lynchburg area, you have to visit the Trivium!!!!

eeded that! One the day of my wedding, the weather was iffy. During our pictures, prior to the ceremony, we made the call to move the wedding indoors due to rain. A mere hour and half later, the rain stopped and cleared up. Heidi and her staff were more than happy to get everything moved back outside and re-set up the reception hall in no time. It was a dream of mine to have an outdoor wedding in the beautiful Fall foliage that The Trivium has to offer and they really made it come true! Many of our guests raved that it was the best wedding they have ever been to; and it never would've happened without such a wonderful venue run by a wonderful group of people. I would highly suggest The Trivium to anyone looking for a perfect wedding experience! It really was the most magical and perfect start to my new life with my husband!

i (the Trivium's Director of Operations) to tour the venue, she presented us with several options for the location of the wedding and walked us through the options for different styles of reception. Based on our own preferences and her suggestions, we decided to have the ceremony at the arbor location because we loved the mountain views and to have a cocktail-style reception after an outdoor cocktail hour. We were extremely happy with how the ceremony and reception went off without a problem (the Trivium staff were also amazing), and all of our guests seemed to enjoy themselves thoroughly. During the wedding preparation, the Trivium's list of preferred vendors also helped us to select our caterer, bartender, and photographer, who were all great to work with. We don't live in Virginia, so coming to town to meet with all the possible wedding vendors was never an option. It was comforting to know that we were selecting high-quality, professional vendors. All in all, working with Heidi and the rest of the Trivium staff helped to relieve many of the wedding anxieties, and I would recommend them without reservation.

ng every couples wedding perfect! Throughout the entire process, the folks at the Trivium were helpful, responsive and courteous. This was our first wedding so we had no knowledge and experience of what to do, but the staff at the Trivium made sure we had all the information we needed. They provided information for many suppliers and all of their recommendations proved to be absolutely wonderful! The wedding was planned for outside, however, the Trivium staff provided an alternative -- just in case of bad weather. When the day of the wedding arrived, it was raining and looked as though it would rain through the ceremony time. The Trivium coordinator, Heidi, kept a constant check on the weather in the event of any change since she knew that it was Amanda's dream to have the wedding outside on the breathtaking grounds of the Trivium. As the wedding approached, everything was moved for an inside ceremony. The ballroom was "reconverted" to the ceremony room and guests were starting to be seated. Then, the rain subsided and the weather became better. Even though it meant more work for her and her staff, Heidi, approached our daughter and asked if she would like to move outside as it looked as if the rain had stopped for good. Everything was rearranged so quickly and the wedding was moved outside and was on time. This was all due to the hard work and amazing kindness of the entire staff at The Trivium. I can't imagine any other venue that would have gone to that extreme to help a bride have her perfect day. They truly stand behind their claim to want your day to be perfect. I am so glad that our daughter found the Trivium because I don't believe anywhere else would have been so amazing. At the end of the evening, our daughter told us that her wedding was "even more perfect then I could ever have imagined!" I can't think of a better tribute to the best wedding venue in Lynchburg, VA.

eption (and even the rehearsal dinner) at The Trivium. The entire venue is beautiful but beyond that you get to work with Heidi and her amazing staff. Throughout the planning process Heidi is always available to answer questions and help guide you. She even met me after work at the venue and spent hours arranging tables in the ballroom to figure out how I wanted to set up the reception. On the wedding day, Heidi is your coordinator. You can't do it without her. She keeps everyone calm and makes sure the timeline and vendors are all in check. Any problems that arise (and there will be problems) she will remedy and most of the time without you ever knowing. I was able to enjoy every single minute of the day because of Heidi and her team. It truly was amazing. If that isn't enough, she allows freedom (within reason) to plan your day. You can choose all of your vendors and you can provide your own alcohol for the bar. Many other venues require you to use certain caterers, etc. Your wedding day can look exactly how you wish here. If you choose The Trivium, you will get the wedding of your dreams. Stop looking elsewhere. This is it. After the fact, there might be little things you wish you would have done differently, but choosing The Trivium as your venue is something I would do again and again. Thank you Heidi! I am still dreaming of our day and our guests are still talking about how wonderful our wedding was. Best Ever ;)

The ballroom there is also stunning, and we chose to have our reception there. It was so nice to be able to have our own space upstairs in the house to get ready in and have everything we needed there. Heidi makes sure to take care of everything you need for that day. She is quick to respond to emails and always has an answer for your questions! She made sure that my wedding day was stress free to me, my family, and everyone involved. If you're looking for an amazing wedding venue and an awesome staff at the venue to make your day perfect, then go to The Trivium!

Getting ready with my bridal party was so wonderful thanks to the lovely rooms available. The rooms were sparkling clean, and there was plenty of space for everyone. I had my ceremony at the Pergola, and it was perfect. I love that the Trivium gives you several options for the ceremony. The Pergola met my needs for my guest quantity as well as looking like a dream. Walking out the doors and down the aisle will always be a wonderful memory. This venue also makes for lovely photos of your day. The ballroom also made a perfect party atmosphere for my reception. Our guests greatly enjoyed celebrating with us in this beautiful room. Highly recommend this beautiful Estate. Everything was perfect. No regrets at all!

absolutely GORGEOUS inside and out and has everything we were looking for... The Trivium is a beautiful venue with several locations for a ceremony (inside or outside), has a gorgeous on-site reception venue that requires nothing in terms of decorations (except maybe centerpieces), you can bring in your own catere, and even has an onsite photo booth which was a HUGE hit with my wedding guests! Plus the inside of the home is beautiful and is a photographer's dream, so your "getting ready" photos will be very pretty. Finally, I can't say enough about the service... Heidi was AWESOME to work with through the entire planning process. She was very helpful, very professional, and very friendly, and we felt from the beginning like she appreciated our business, which is rare in the wedding industry. Only downside is that if your GPS is set to "shortest distance", it tends to send people a squirrely way (down a dirt road!) so the guests took a bit longer to find the place then expected. That being said, the place is right off a main road and is NOT at all difficult to find... but you might want to suggest a specific route for your wedding guests on your website or invitations. I have received NOTHING but compliments from my guests and family about my wedding location. My husband and I (and all family members) would WHOLEHEARTEDLY recommend this venue for your wedding or event!
