We rented a trolley for our October wedding and had a great experience! We had the trolley pick us up from the church and the driver was right on time, if not early! From there we went to take pictures and the driver was very nice and accommodating, bringing us wherever we wanted to go before dropping us off at the reception hall. We had a great time and would definitely recommend the Trolley Car & Bus Company to anyone!

We used the trolly to transport the wedding party and guests to and from the church as well as take the wedding party around for pictures. The driver was on time and a good driver! No iPod hook up on the bus would be my only complaint, the driver offered to go but one however it wasn't necessary in my opinion!

I always wanted to ride in a trolley on my wedding day. The Trolley Car & Bus company provided fantastic shuttling service for the wedding party and family before the wedding and returned guests safely to the hotel after the wedding. The trolley was not only quaint but the driver was prompt and polite. We recommend to anyone interested in a trolley in Chicago!

My husband & I hired this company to provide handicap accessible trolley service on 8/1/2014. The process booking them was fine & they had no problem taking our money. Fast forward to the day of our wedding. They sent us a trolley that had a broken air conditioner on a warm & humid 83 degree day (so even if the additional problem I explain below doesn't apply to you, consider that you may just sweat like crazy on the day of your wedding looking all beautiful/handsome). Then, when my brother (who is in a wheelchair) went to use the lift it would not work (only rising about 2 feet before malfunctioning - never reaching the landing where he could safely get off). My husband and 5 groomsmen all tried pushing the lift up to no avail (in the process covering themselves in dirt and grease in their nice clothes). After my brother removed himself from the lift, it would not even retract back into the trolley so that the vehicle could be driveable. Therefore we had no transportation. Despite the contract stating that alternative transportation may be provided in the unlikely event that the one we booked becomes unavailable, the company did not honor this. We were forced to take our very friendly photographer's car & another guest's car so that we could get to our reception as all the bridal party's cars had already been brought to the hotel. The customer service woman at the company, after hearing from us that day, was rude, unapologetic, & completely dismissive of our issue; telling us how difficult this was for HER (not once apologizing for our difficult situation). She couldn't have been any more awful in her response. We did finally email with someone 4 days later who tried to make it as right as he could. He issued a refund plus $200. However, the moments we lost because of the time we spent trying to get the trolley to function are priceless. The worst decision I made for my wedding day was booking with this company.

We used The Trolley Car the day of our wedding for transporting our bridal party between the ceremony/reception/picture locations and had an awesome time. The trolley arrived on time, was super clean (very important when wearing a big white dress :)), and well air-conditioned. It was so nice to be able to spread out in the trolley and walk around (which we wouldn't have been able to do with regular limos). Our driver Ken was excellent and didn't seem phased by our loud music, dancing, or use of the trolley bell (yes, there is a bell... it was awesome). We hit some pretty bad rain on the way to our reception venue, but Ken was the first one to jump off the trolley and make sure everyone had umbrellas to make it to the front door without getting wet. Having a trolley as our transportation was one of the best decisions we made in our wedding planning process!

I hired a trolley to take us around the city for wedding photos and everything went very smoothly. The pricing was at the low end of the range for trolleys with air conditioning (what I thought was a must for my late July 2013 wedding though it ended up being an unseasonably cold day!) and the contract and payment process was very easy. The driver was on time and very patient with us while we drove around town, making three stops in pretty busy areas. He was also very kind and helped me (and my huge dress) on and off the trolley at every stop. I would absolutely The Trolley Car & Bus Company for your trolley needs!

Initially, I was very nervous about using this company for my wedding. After booking them, they sent the wrong confirmation/order three times. However, as the day approached, they were very easy to work with. Someone confirmed all of my locations throughout the day, as well as pick up/drop off times. I changed my mind about some of this information on the night before my wedding. They were awesome about switching this without any problems. The driver was prompt and very professional. The trolley was clean and had nice decorations. My only complaint was that the air conditioning didn't really cool the trolley. When dressed up in a heavy dress (and the guys in tuxes) it was a little warm. It was better than no air conditioning at all, though.

The Trolley Car & Bus Company was great to work with from the very start. Prompt with responding to any questions we had and the staff was very friendly. Our driver the day of our wedding was wonderful...so fun and accomodating! We're so glad we had a trolley on our wedding day! It made for such fun and memorable pictures!!! :) You guys were great! The trolley was clean and the trolley driver was very nice and fun! The only strange part was when he asked my brother for a tip and we thought it was part of the cost. Otherwise very good!

Trolley was ten minutes early. Driver was patient and courteous (we had multiple stops and a lot of people).

The Trolley Car & Bus Company did a great job with providing transportation on our wedding day. They provided a trolley for the wedding party. A friend had recommended them due to their reliability. Not only were they reliable, but the trolley was also high quality. It was a surprisingly 97degree day in May and the AC on the bus and trolley worked amazingly! The trolley was clean, had windows that closed for comfortable driving on the highway, great AC, fun sound system for iphone/ipod playlist, and even had "wedding decorations". We would highly recommend using Trolley Car & Bus Company for your transportation needs.

These people were great! Everything was so easy and would always get back to me so quick and they showed up on the wedding day with exactly what was promised and it was just great! We fit everyone comfortably, the driver was great, they decorated it and gave us champagne. The driver was dressed professionally and we had music and they took us to a couple different locations. They were prompt and safe and I really just cannot say enough good about them. Use them for any event really, but if you are nervous looking for something for your wedding this company is a fantastic and flawless choice!

More like 4.5 stars.... We rented a trolley from Trolley Car & Bus Company for bridal party transportation for our wedding. The trolley was on time and the driver took us to multiple locations in the city for pictures. We hit a traffic jam and he pulled a u turn to get us out of the traffic! Much appreciated, as we didn't have time to waste! The trolley was clean and air conditioned which was one of the main reasons we chose Trolley Car & Bus Co! The only minor issue was some yellow dye got on my dress (thank god for shout wipes). I'm not 100% sure the yellow came from the trolley, but the trolley is bright yellow and it was slightly raining. Either way- it all worked out. I would hire them again.

We used them in our recent wedding and they were very easy to work with. The driver was on time and was actually quite funny and enjoyable to be around. He even slowed down to assist my sister in turning on some music. I am sure the people behind him did not appreciate it but we sure did. I would definetly recommend them to someone that is looking for something a little different. The trolley was a the perfect touch!

I used the Trolley Car & Bus Co. for my wedding & the service before hand was great~ However, they showed up in my driveway before I was about to walk down the aisle & the air conditioner was broken! The IPOD hookup was also broken- This was the main reason i used this Co. because we needed air conditioning on our HOT August wedding day! I paid way too much money for the trolley when we didn't even get what was promised to us. We still made the best of it but I know everyone was sweating their butts off on the way to the reception :(

Damien was so easy to work with and the wedding package was a great value. Our driver carted us around the city for pictures and was always there when we were ready to hop back on. He navigated perfectly and got us everywhere on time! No stress here!

We used them for our March wedding, the price was great! the staff was easy to communicate with. The trolley was clean and spacious for our big wedding party. Overall a great experience and would recommend them to others.

We called these guys like a week before the wedding because the weather was looking like it was going to be in the upper 70's and sunny - in Chicago - in March!!! So we called them, it was paid for and scheduled for a three hour time frame in just a few hours. The trolley guy was late by about 20 mins - but we later learned why so I am not blaming them - I blamed Obama for having a party and Screwing up the traffic EVERYWHERE! (It later put us behind again) He called me and it worked out all fine. We used the trolley to get photos at three separate location down Michigan Ave - he was kind and patient with all of us. He made it fun and made sure that the photos were in the best spots.

We loved having the trolley for our wedding day. The company was very flexible with the spots that we wanted to stop at for photos on the way to our reception. The driver was friendly and helpful. With the size of our bridal party, it was the same price as getting two limos, and it was definitely much cooler and easier to get in to. I think the trolley was our bridal party's favorite part of the day!

The trolley and bus we rented were both on time. The drivers were great. The price was even better.

We hired The Trolley Car and Bus Company for our wedding day. The trolley arrived on time and was decorated for the occasion. We used the trolley from 2pm-6pm to drive around Chicago to 3 photo locations before our ceremony and reception. Everything went very smoothly, there were no wrong turns and we arrived on time to my ceremony. The trolley was very clean and they supplied us with a cooler and some champagne. The trolley is also air conditioned although we didn’t really need it as it was a perfect 70 degree day  I would definitely recommend The Trolley Car and Bus Company to anyone planning a wedding.

Linda was the best driver! Derek was awesome to work with. Worth every last penny. The trolley was incredible! Go with them you, the best transporation!

easy to work with I got married on a friday and it was great. the price was better on a Friday than Saturday. I had NO issues with the driver or the service. He was on time every time. we had several Stops for pictures

We used our trolley for 4 hours and it was a blast the whole time! The company was great to work with and reasonably priced. They showed up on time, hit every location I asked for to take photos and dropped us off on time. Our driver was great too - had good music and made sure everything was taken care of, as we discussed.

Our trolley and driver were great - he went above and beyond! The trolley was clean and the temperature and perfect and we were all comfortable for an October day in Chicago. We had a great time going around Chicago for 3 hours, seeing the sights and taking awesome pictures.

We were thrilled with our choice to go with The Trolley Car & Bus Company. The trolley was spacious and clean and the driver was very prompt and courteous. We had a great time riding from our church, to photo opportunities, to the reception, while we played music and toasted with champagne they provided. They were easy to work with and reasonable for a trolley. We would recommend The Trolley Car & Bus Company!
