The Tropical Travelers, specifically Jennifer, Maribeth and Kristy were great helping my husband and I book our honeymoon in Jamaica. They offered several options of what we were looking for in our price range. They were honest about what we could get for our budget. They notified us immediately anytime there was a change in our flight schedule. They made sure we had all the correct forms filled out for leaving the country and confirmed our passports were valid. They were very quick to respond whenever I had questions. Once we arrived at the resort, we had a little issue getting wrapped up in high pressure sales meetings. I reached out to The Tropical Travelers with my concerns and frustrations. Kristy immediately called the resort and straightened everything out. I was so thankful for her quick attentiveness. We were able to enjoy the rest of our vacation pressure free. I will definitely reach out to The Tropical Travelers next time we plan to travel. Especially out of the county, I was at ease knowing someone experienced was there to help us. I honestly don’t have anything negative to say about the Tropical Travelers.

With the business of wedding planning, I wanted someone to take care of all of my honeymoon planning from flights, hotels, activities, and transportation. The Tropical Travelers did just that! After providing some input on my personal vision, Jennifer sent me about 5 resort options that aligned with what I wanted for my honeymoon. She made it so easy to pick the perfect location and resort and readily answered all of my questions before I even booked. The booking process is incredibly easy. They scheduled our flights and private transportation from the airport to the hotel. Someone from Tropical Travelers was available to answer any questions I had leading up to my trip- replying to my emails within just a few hours each time I reached out. Jennifer and her team were incredibly helpful in helping us book our minimoon to Antigua! As all brides and grooms know, planning a wedding (esp during COVID times) is incredibly time consuming and stressful. We had so much going on but knew we wanted to do a quick tropical minimoon a couple of days after our wedding, but just didn't have the time to do the research or book anything. A friend of mine used The Tropical Travelers for a bachelorette party a couple of years ago and I recalled how easy it made our experience, so I decided to reach out. Jennifer was so quick to respond, and all I had to do was give her our requirements and what we were envisioning and she did the rest and gave us some options! Once we booked, she and her team did a great job communicating with us on what to expect, and how to prepare for the trip (COVID test and vaccination requirements, etc). Her team even helped make reservations on the resort for us and gave us some ideas on extra excursions to book. I'd definitely use them again!

Planning our honeymoon with the Tropical Travelers was the smartest thing we've done! They listened to what we wanted and found us the perfect match! The planning process was smooth and easy, didn't have to worry about a thing! When we went on our trip, we encountered a few hiccups upon arriving at the resort, and Jennifer was on the phone instantly fixing the issues we were having with the resort. Then a hurricane hit and evacuations started happening. Jennifer was working until 2:00 am (our time, I think it was 3:00 or 4:00 am her time) to help us find a way out. She not only got us booked on a flight when everything seemed to be sold out, she checked in on us multiple times the following two days as we journeyed home to make sure things were okay and we didn't need anything. Once arriving home, Jennifer and her team filed all of the paperwork with our travel insurance and helped us get reimbursed for not only the out of pocket expense to get home, but for the remainder of our trip that we missed. WE WILL ALWAYS USE TROPICAL TRAVELERS WHEN TRAVELING! I can not even imagine the nightmare we would have endured had they not been fighting for us every step of the way!

I am so happy I got in touch with the tropical travelers when it came time to book our honeymoon! I was in contact with Jennifer! We had an initial phone conversation and Jennifer got a feel for what my fiancé and I were looking for! A couple days later Jennifer narrowed it down to a couple choices! We wanted direct flights, all inclusive, good food, beautiful views, entertainment and honeymoon vibes! Jennifer suggested Excellence in Oyster Bay Jamaica! It was the absolute perfect fit for me and my husband! It had everything we wanted in a resort! Jennifer took care of everything for us. Private shuttles to and from the airport etc! I can’t wait to continue to use the tropical travelers for all of our future trips!

Kristy was the best! She helped me plan my honeymoon to Thailand and we couldn't have asked for a better trip. Every detail of the trip was tailored to us and what we wanted to do. Kristy was very knowledgeable of the area and we ended up staying in 3 different locations -- Bangkok, Chang Mai and Phi Phi Island. I didn't have to worry about anything, everything was planned and taken care of for us -- all transportation, tours and hotels. I highly recommend using this company, I am using Kristy again to book a Europe trip in March and again its been a great experience. Thanks!

The Tropical Travelers were great in helping us plan our honeymoon to Antigua! We contacted them after realizing we had no idea where we wanted to go except that we wanted to go somewhere warm, with things to explore, and good food. We were also nervous about all-inclusives after having a very bad experience a few years earlier. After an initial consultation with Jennifer, she provided us with 3 options within our budget. We wound up choosing Galley Bay in Antigua and couldn't have been happier. We had tears in our eyes as we left. When we hit some difficulties with the airline shifting our flights the week of our departure, Tropical Travelers helped us change our flights so we were able to make all of our connections. We plan to use them again for big trips and would recommend them to anyone.

My husband and I reached out to Tropical Travelers to book our honeymoon because we heard great things about them. And we are SO GLAD we did because they made the planning process so easy... I have booked many vacations with Stephanie Lockhart of the Tropical Travelers, but she went above and beyond with our magical Hawaiian vacation. She took care of every single detail meticulously. With so many islands and so much to see in Hawaii I was unsure of where to even start. Steph knew all the best things to do, places to stay, places to eat and and sights to see! Wow!!! This is the only word that I can use to sum up our trip to Unico and our experience with Stephanie Lockhart at Tropical Travelers. Not only was the resort a beautiful all inclusive, but it really was a higher level of inclusivity with the spa services and excursions included. Our room was beautiful, the beach was perfect, the massages were amazing (and included!), the food was delicious and we're still trying to recreate their signature drink, the Jade. My husband and I needed some recommendations for travel this May. We were looking for something all inclusive adults only and not outrageously expensive. He found The Tropical Travelers on TripAdvisor and reached out for there advice. They were helpful and extremely responsive in exploring different options that met our preferences. Had it not been for The Tropical Travelers we would not have known about the newest resort in Riviera Maya, Unico 2087. Jen from The Tropical Travelers shared as much information as she could on the newest resort that hadn't even opened at the time. Needless to say we booked and the booking process went very smooth. Even after booking Jen and Erica were available for questions. For example, I wanted recommendations on different excursions. Erica was able to offer her opinion and even researched private tours for us. After our final payment they sent a booklet of our travel information and a cute little pouch. The pouch also included two luggage tags. I thought this was a nice touch. They also sent a email to check in with us right before our trip and checked in again through email while we were on vacation. We don't usually book travel through a travel agent but after this experience I don't imagine we will travel without their advice!

10/10!!! We live on the west coast but were married in PA. We are SO thankful to have found The Tropical Travelers. With all of the chaos of out of state wedding planning, they made the honeymoon planning so easy especially since we didn't know where we wanted to go! I felt like Denise (or travel agent) respected our budget and listened to what we wanted on our honeymoon. She recommended quite a few places that for various reasons didn't work for us. She was eager to find us the PERFECT island and resort and never seemed annoyed when we declined one of her recommendations.

The Tropical Travelers did a great job of giving us all-inclusive options that met our criteria. Our flights and transportation to/from the resort worked perfectly. We had an amazing time on our honeymoon and loved the resort. We pre-booked an excursion, but wish we had waited until we got to the resort to book it so that we could have booked an excursion with other guests at our resort.

The amount of work, time and effort needed in creating a dream wedding is tremendous and tropical travelers made it a breeze. Our goal, going into the week, was to make sure an spend quality time with every guest and I can successfully say we achieved that. All the time with our loved ones was by far the highlight of the week. For the wedding we choose El Dorado Royal. Most all-inclusive resorts are adults only, which is normally what I prefer. For the wedding we wanted children of our friends and family to be welcome and the travel team made sure that everyone had all the information and made planning easy. We have many family members that needed assistance every step of the way and our agent was always happy to get on the phone with them. The wedding planners will make everything work. Communicating during the planning process with the staff at the resort had its challenges with language issues and timing but our agent with Stephanie provided a ton of guidance and was able to help get things rolling and gave great advise on what locations in the resort to host different events and what upgrades to purchase. She even was able to have tons of great stuff added at no cost and make sure we had been treated extra special. In the end, the entire wedding was a dream come try. I would recommend a destination wedding and tropical travelers to any bride. The right resort will make all the difference and Tropical Travelers was the reason we choose El Dorado and I can not imagine abetter fit for us. Spending quality time with all our guests, enjoying a vacation with all our friends and family was priceless. We have made memories for a lifetime.

I cannot begin to tell you how much my fiance and I LOVED working with Denise Perkins from Tropical Travelers for our honeymoon! Denise was so in tune with our wants and needs and was prompt in returning my every email. First of all, the Secrets St. James resort in Montego Bay, Jamaica that Denise recommended was absolutely the most beautiful place we had both ever been. The scenery from the moment flew over the bright blue water was stunning and only continued to get better as our airplane landed and our trip went on. The transfer company that Denise set up for us was phenomenal! We had a nice, clean, private car and a wonderful driver who offered us a drink as soon as we got in the car. He was such a sweet man and I knew right from then that we were also going to love the people of Jamaica. That feeling only became more prevalent when we realized everyone we came across during our entire trip was so warm, friendly, and genuinely caring. When we got to the hotel, the bell man welcomed us excitedly and made us feel right at home and the woman we check in with upgraded our room just because we were early and couldn't check in for another 2 hours! We would've waited all day, just gotten some lunch and hung around the hotel, and not have cared one bit, but the staff was so amazingly over-accommodating - we couldn't believe it! When we did get into the room, we were stunned with how beautiful it was. It was spotless, spacious, had balcony view of the pool and ocean, and the set up was to die for! The service at Secrets was over the top excellent in every aspect. Every restaurant had unbelievable food and there was never a wait to be seated or get your meal! All in all, Denise planned the perfect vacation for us and we will be using Tropical Travelers for every vacation we take from now on!

We used tropical travelers for our honey moon to maya riviera mexcico, el dorado casitas. Everything was seamless. The entire booking process to actual travels was perfect.. We arrived in Mexico and felt like royalty our agent set up private transportation to and from the airport. Our hotel wa fabulous and the service was beyond our expectations we would definitely book with Stephanie at tropical travelers again

I can't say enough about everything that The Tropical Travelers did for us in planning our honeymoon to St. Lucia. We worked with Denise Perkins. She was so great, patient, and even after we booked, she found us a better rate and reduced our total by over $200! She responded to every single one of my emails quickly...and I was sending alot! Even when we encountered problems at the resort, we got in touch with Denise and she went to bat for us and fixed everything. She even got us a room upgrade with an amazing view!! If you want someone to be there to help with the planning or to be a resource when you are actually at the resort, no doubt go with The Tropical Travelers!!

Although there was trouble w/ the airlines canceling flights during the hurricane season she was on the ball and filled us in on the details and rebookings. Tropical Travelers was amazing when my husband and I were planning our Hawaiian honeymoon. Jennifer set us up for a couple nights on Oahu and a few more nights on the Big Island. Unfortunately, we had to attend a funeral right after our wedding, so we had to cancel our honeymoon and rebook. Jennifer was easy to reach and extremely helpful in being patient while we decided when to rebook. We completely changed out itinerary, and Jennifer just rolled with us! When planning our honeymoon I knew I wanted to go to Aruba and I knew I wanted to stay at the Bucuti Beach Resort, but I couldn't get the room I wanted. She was so easy to work with and I just love not having to deal with the hassle. My Mom also used her for her and my Dad's 40th wedding anniversary trip to Hawaii. It was their first time there and Jennifer really helped them out. Since I already knew Jennifer, I e-mailed her and my brothers and I surprised our parents with a sunset dinner cruise. Jennifer set it all up for us.

My husband and I got married in 2005 and used Jennifer at The Tropical Travelers to plan our honeymoon. She was incredibly responsive to our emails and asked us a lot of questions in order to understand exactly the kind of trip that we had in mind. She gave us several different options that she thought best fit our requirements, and outlined all of the amenities, pros/cons, and costs. We loved the location in the Bahamas that we chose, so there was no question that we would use Jennifer again when we decided to take a vacation to Mexico in 2009. She again provided us with great customer service and helped us to find a property that best matched our wish list. As with our trip to the Bahamas, she had all of our documents and paperwork to us very quickly. She was also able to help us book airport transportation, excursions, and dinner reservations - all of which went smoothly and we had no issues with. I have recommended The Tropical Travelers to friends and would use them again myself without hesitation.

When looking to book our honeymoon I really didn't know where to start or even where to go. On the knot's honeymoon message board someone recommended Jennifer at Tropical Travelers and I decided to try her services out. I went on her website and filled out the questionnaire and within 24 hours she had already sent us an e-mail with 3 different options. I couldn't believe it. I am the indecisive type so she sent me many more options - she was happy to do it. We ended up picking Aruba after many back and forth e-mails with Jennifer. Aruba was the original place Jennifer said that she thought we would enjoy most and she was right. We had an amazing time in Aruba and our hotel was unforgettable. I would have never even considered Aruba had it not been for Jennifer. My husband and I loved it so much that we are hoping to go back soon! When Hurricane Irene threatened our trip, she was very thorough with our options and made sure we up to date with the weather and the situation. Spent countless hours researching honeymoon destinations online at tripadvisor, which can certainly become overwhelming. Comments from a few travelers in the forums section referenced Jennifer and her company. All were very pleased and to my surprise, Jennifer was local to me. So I said why not. Well after one phone call, I could tell this process was going to be much easier. Jennifer made everything seamless, from narrowing down my selection, to booking the trip, to organizing transfers, to room selections...you name it. And I think we only spoke that one time! She was able to accomodate everything thereafter via email and/or text. We ultimately chose Excellence Playa Mujeres and the wife couldn't have been happier. I highly recommend Jennifer and Tropical Travelers. Good pricing, always prompt and attentive and overall fantastic service. Destination was just as she advertised. Will be contacting her again soon for the anniversary.

A good friend of ours recommended Jennifer to us when we were planning our honeymoon. We originally thought we wanted an all-inclusive location, however through working with Jennifer, we realized we didn't need or really want to stay at an all-inclusive resort. Jennifer was so patient as we changed our minds a bunch of times. We weren't even positive about a location, so she made sure to show us all of our options...throughout out the entire Carribean! We ended up in Turks & Caicos, which was gorgeous and absolutely perfect for us. I tell everyone we had a great wedding...but an even better honeymoon!

I had never used a travel agent to plan a trip before because I thought planning it myself would be cheaper. But, I wanted my honeymoon to be easy and called Jennifer after I read a recommendation on theknot. Much to my delight, the prices she quoted me for my honeymoon in Riviera Maya were less expensive than what I found myself! AND, she coordinated everything! After a year of planning my wedding, working with Jennifer to plan our honeymoon was like a breath of fresh air. She gave me wonderful advice on the places I was considering and then sent me tons of pics from her own personal experiences at the hotels I was looking at. She emailed me my itinerary right away, then followed up with everything in the mail. It was amazing to not have to worry about a thing. Jennifer and Tropical Travelers were amazing and incredibly helpful. We booked our honeymoon at the Excellence Playa Mujeres through her and had the most amazing time. We got a great deal and private transfer to and from the airport. The resort was incredible; we had such a wonderful time that we booked our anniversary trip through Tropical Travelers for Jamaica this October. We also plan on taking a group family trip next year and will use TT for that trip as well. They really know what resorts to recommend based on your needs.

Jennifer at the Tropical Travelers arranged all of the travel for the guests at a destination wedding in the Dominican Republic. Jennifer always got back to us quickly with prices and various options for flights and the amount of nights we wanted to stay at the resort for the DW. After I got quotes from the Tropical Travelers, I shopped around a little bit and no one was able to match her prices. While we were in the Dominican Republic, we got news that a giant blizzard would be hitting the Northeast on the day that we were supposed to be leaving. Jennifer was amazingly helpful in rescheduling our flights for one day earlier and then helping us get a refund of the night that we missed at the hotel. Her impeccable service was a huge help when we were in another country and weren't sure what to do. Even more amazing was that Jennifer took the time to help us when she herself was already snowed in. I would highly recommend the Tropical Travelers for your destination wedding & honeymoon needs. I know I will be booking with her in the future!

I wanted to make sure all the details of my honeymoon were taken care of and Jennifer helped with all of that. She was extremely helpful in reccomending and booking multiple resorts for our ST lucia trip and was even able to get us the most amazing suite at Ladera! I felt very comfortable that everything would be great and it was! I would definitely use tropical travelers again for a special trip!

So after 7 years of dating I wanted to make sure our honeymoon was amazing and that I didn't have to mortgage our marriage to afford it. Jennifer Byrne worked within my budget to make that happen (I just checked, she went 32 emails with me to make it right) If I ever need another honeymoon... or just an amazing vacation I know tropical travelers will make that happen.

I came across Jennifer's name on message boards online. Together, we planned a wonderful week-long honeymoon. We had an issue come up the day before our trip that almost caused us to cancel, and Jennifer was easily reachable even though it was a Saturday. A quick email to her during our stay when a few issues came up resolved those problems as well. I loved working with Jennifer and highly recommend her. We've already used her to help us book a second vacation, and will definitely continue to use her services in the future as well.
