The Trough

The Trough is a mobile wedding bar and catering service operating out of Nashville, TN. Owned and operated by Chris and Sherry, this husband-and-wife duo has converted a Ford Flatbed truck into a fully-functional food wagon they lovingly call ‘Gertie’. They offer a comprehensive selection of classic homemade food options as well as full bar services and strive to add a touch of Southern class to every celebration. Chris and Sherry met in 2009 and quickly bonded over a love of good food. Sherry had worked for years in the restaurant industry while Chris had made a name for himself as a certified barbecue judge. They both knew exactly what it took to create delicious southern cuisine and in 2018, they fixed up Gertie and The Trough was born. Since then they have delighted in providing Tennessee wedding receptions with the finest barbeque food items. Having been raised in traditional Southern households, Chris and Sherry know a thing or two about good hospitality. They relish the opportunity to be a part of every couple’s special day and make customer service their top priority. Whatever you are looking for from your outdoor reception, they will work hard to accommodate every need and desire. The Trough specializes in providing only the finest Southern cuisine and features an array of sumptuous menu items to choose from. These include BBQ classics, delicious sides, appetizers, desserts, and more. All menu items are prepared completely from scratch using only the freshest local ingredients and can be customized to accommodate any dietary needs or requirements. For beverages, they would be more than happy to serve whatever alcohol you wish to stock for your party, from kegs of beer to signature cocktails.
