This venue was absolutely perfect! I’ll break down my review into different categories to help reflect everything great about this place! Staff/Business side of things : The venue coordinator was polite, very helpful, and quick to respond to any questions we had. We had written out how we wanted to flow of the ceremony to go, that she followed perfectly! Halfway through the wedding, anther staff member swapped her out, and they were also very polite and helpful. All the staff we met that day and throughout this process were so kind, and they loved our wedding theme! The staff help out with so much here. They will have all the tables and chairs set up for you when you arrive, and they take them down as well. The venue also has decorations you can borrow, and anything you borrow they set up and take down for you. This was a huge plus for us because we didn’t want our wedding party to feel like they had to do too much on the set up side of things, and it for sure helped make what we needed to do on our end less, so our bridal party could enjoy the day with us! The only thing we had to really do on our end was set up and take down the deco we brought, and clean up any trash, or dishes we used. The venue staff are very knowledgeable about weddings and vendors. They gave us information about a restaurant for catering, that they have worked with before and was super close to the venue, which was great because we were having trouble with finding one at first. Scheduling a tour with the venue was super simple, and reserving a date was also easy! I also felt like the price of the venue was good for all you get. Venue space: The venue has many locations on site for beautiful photo ops. It is also located near a nature park, and river, which provide beautiful spots for photos within walking distance of the venue. Our wedding was Renaissance Faire themed, which the Troutdale House vibes (especially the reception area) fit perfectly! The bridal suite upstairs was huge, and had a curtain splitting the two sides up, so there was plenty of room for getting ready. Which was a big thing for us because we are two brides, and we didn’t want to see each other until first looks. It’s a big venue! So there’s plenty of places for guest to spread out and socialize. The downstairs area was a popular spot for guest. The downstairs area had so much room for relaxing on their fancy vintage couches, and had arcade games, air hockey, pool, and old fashioned games. We also had the venue put up a few extra tables for us to set up a few board games. The venue had Bluetooth speakers, and microphones that we used for music and making announcements, and the sound balance was great! They have fun colorful light that you can change throughout the night with the help of staff. They also had a big kitchen that we used to hold our cake, cupcakes, and snacks. The only thing that was a minor downside, is that the AC only went down to a certain temp, and with it being in the summer with almost 80 people in one room, it did get kind of warm The biggest thing for us, is that this venue is LGBTQ+ friendly, and treated us with kindness and respect. Our day was so special and perfect with the Troutdale House’s help!

I opened this wedding venue to fulfill my dreams, and I am so happy and blessed that I get to do something that I am truly passionate about. It has always been my goal to make your day as perfect and happy as possible. I've strived to make my venue as stress-free as possible, so you have one less thing to worry about on your wedding day. had more than enough room so no one felt crammed in. The decor was also perfect for the all halloween decor we added. My only reason for giving 4 stars instead of 5, is that when we originally signed for our wedding date, we were told we would have the venue all day and could show up/end when we would like to. That changed the day we came to do a walk through with our coordinator. While it wasn't the biggest inconvenience, I would recommend everyone who wants this venue to just make sure to go over every detail in the contract. Other than that, we couldn't have picked a better venue.

You are correct that we offer flexibility in arrival and end times; however, this flexibility is within the confines of the contractual time purchased. In your case, you purchased a standard, 10-hour block of time, which would have given you access to the venue for a 10-hour period. Your chosen arrival time marks the start of that block and sets your end time. This information was outlined in the contract you signed, reviewed during your tour and booking, and the terms were never changed. We appreciate you highlighting the importance of reading contracts carefully and asking questions during the planning process, which we highly encourage as well. Overall, we’re pleased that this timing clarification didn’t take away from what was ultimately a wonderful celebration.

we had our ceremony was gorgeous, it had heaters and a cover hidden by vines (so we wouldnt have to worry if it rained). For anyone who likes the style of an outdoor wedding for pictures but doesnt particularly like being outside, or wants an outdoor wedding any time of the year, or is like me and hates being too cold or too hot, this is the BEST option ! Ours was in October, and it was 100% perfect. The venue coordinators were very helpful and accommodating, and we had so many little requests they came through on! They also have SO many decorations we were able to use, without extra charges! Which saved us a ton of money. This was the most affordable place we found after searching everywhere, and everything about it was perfect and beautiful! Our pictures are amazing with all the pretty lights they have up, and they let you use their sound system and have lights for dancing that went to the beat of whatever song... so we didnt even have to get a DJ (just used my spotify). There was a lot games for kids downstairs, so we didnt have to worry about entertaining them, and a speakeasy style area for guests to have a quiet place to talk or relax a bit. The dressing rooms had mini fridges in both, and steamers, and were super cool just in general. I could keep going on about how awesome this place is honestly, i wouldnt have changed a single thing!

ions are gorgeous. So many gorgeous spots for photos. The bar, kitchen, and buffet room are the perfect size. We partied HARD on the dance floor with about 60 people and it was perfect. It did get pretty hot in there around 8pm when we all started dancing, It was warm outside and the AC couldn't keep up with us. But that was not a huge issue and it cooled down after like an hour. The bridal suite was absolutely perfect for getting ready. There were plenty of stations with mirrors and outlets, so me and my girls had everything we needed. Downstairs, the groom's suite was awesome too with a pool table, air hockey, and even a little putt putt golf setup. We got married in the Wisteria Garden, and it was pure magic. It’s an outdoor space with full coverage, so even if it rains, you’re totally fine. The top is all tree branches that have grown together, creating this beautiful natural canopy that makes you feel like you're in your own private fairytale. One of the coolest things about this venue is that the owners used to be photographers, so the entire space is designed with perfect photo ops in mind. They also have an open catering policy, which was a huge plus. We brought in food from a local Italian place up the street, and it worked out perfectly. Honestly, there was nothing about this venue that disappointed me. And if you're on a budget, they offer weekday weddings by the hour, which makes it even more affordable. I would 100 percent recommend this place to anyone looking for a stunning, stress free wedding venue.

Every decoration, sign, flower, table, chair, linen, and dishware that we wanted they set up and cleaned up themselves, leaving us free to enjoy the night without extra work and saving us the money of paying for a florist. The staff was incredibly helpful and answered every question I had. Yes, there are trains, but if you're inside the building you can hardly hear them. However, they found a way to set it up where I could sing AND after I gave them the timing of when I needed to walk down the aisle to sing, they assisted and planned it perfectly. They were kind, fun spirited and a lovely bunch! I love that they allow any decorations (for the most part) to be used (I used black lights downstairs - I am sure not many venues would allow that)! The only part I wish I knew ahead of time was real flowers needed to be used for the outside prior to the wedding (months prior). you have access to the entire venue so there is no need to book separately for a place to conduct the ceremony. It has both outdoors and indoor options (which is great for Portland weather) and it already comes beautifully decorated so there is very little you need to do. I loved that we both had our own space to get ready; both the bridal and groom suites were perfect for spending time with the wedding parties and doing some pregaming :0) Most importantly, though, the staff was wonderful and offered a lot of day in preparation for and on the wedding day. Everyone was easily accessible, friendly, and easy to communicate with. Casey was fabulous and really made sure everything ran smoothly. It was the best day ever!

I would recommend this venue to anyone getting married in Oregon because it is a great venue! Oh, and the bridal suite is to die for! zing people and did everything in their power to make sure we had the best day ever. The manager, Jolynn, was awesome and was always very quick to respond to emails and questions and allowed for us to come see the venue as many times as we needed during the planning process. Our day of coordinator, Crystal, was also very helpful for both the rehearsal and the big day. We had a ton of decoration and special set up to do (even though the venue really doesn't need it as it's beautiful all by itself) and she was great at assisting my set up crew and really helped to make the day go smoothly. The venue is mainly a one stop shop and so much is included in one reasonable price (tables, chairs, linens, centerpieces, microphone, ice, etc). We are so happy that we chose The Troudale House and you will be too. Everything was just perfect and we can't say enough good things about it.

This place is everything I have been dreaming about and I love that there are always little upgrades that the owner does to make the venue even better. I really like that there is specific spots for the DJ booth that is hidden so they don't end up in your pictures. I really liked the vintage appeal to everything. There were really great memorabilia showcased and the photo booth is awesome. My fiancé loved the grooms suite. My dad is a huge car fan and so he was really excited when he heard there are vintage cars at the venue. LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!!

than made up for it in not needing to do any additional rentals (tables, chairs, and tablecloths are all included). We've both been a part of so many weddings that end up being lots and lots of work for the bridal party and guests (we've all had to take down christmas lights from a ceiling at 12am or roll away tables to a distant closet), so I wanted something as easy as possible for my family and friends. That's the Troutdale House! The venue is booked for 10 hours that day, and you can buy more hours. Included you get a wedding day manager with extra staff, all the tables and chairs and tablecloths you need, and they do all the set up and tear down (bonus!!!). They will also let you bring in any caterer so you don't spend the rest of your money on an expensive "venue approved" caterer list. From the very beginning the staff were professional and friendly. If I had questions they would get back to me right away, and they had answers for everything! It was supposed to rain on our day, and had poured all day the day before, but it was sunny that morning so they set up for an outdoor ceremony anyway (which we had discussed before hand). The only thing that went wrong was the speakers for the downstairs portion did not work, which we were told they would. So anyone downstairs couldn't hear emcee announcements or toasts. Not a big deal for us, but could be for somebody else. If you book I would ask about this specifically. I would highly recommend the Troutdale House for anyone, but it especially for anyone with a large guest count looking for an indoor venue.

h I would want that calm, knowing presence until our rehearsal when she showed up and took care of everything. My family was able to leave less than an hour after we did, as the Troutdale crew took care of all the cleanup as well. It was a wonderful day and I couldn't have imagined a more perfect place to get married. I have nothing but good to say for them.

enue itself. It was perfect for us! The location is stunning. There are now multiple locations on-site where you can choose to have your ceremony. We chose the new Bridal Park, and used the end with the wooden-covered archway. The venue is very beautiful as a background in our wedding photos. I took one star away from my overall rating due to what I felt was a lack of attention from the on-site coordinators during the wedding, particularly the reception. I think our expectation of the assistance we were going to get from the coordinators was higher than what we actually received. We certainly take responsibility for this... but it was disappointing nonetheless.

It may look small, but we has 200 guests and it was more than big enough!! :) I loved having our very special day at the Troutdale House! Especially with such a Special couple.
