I have to say, Laura and her husband (so sorry, I'm bad with names) are just absolutely wonderful 😊. We went to view them as a venue today for our wedding, the first venue in general for us. I was so nervous and had no idea what the etiquette was or anything. Laura made it so easy to follow her and just touched on all the things I didn't know to think of. They were so friendly and warm and so proud 👏! As they should be! This venue is out of this world, perfect! They care so much, and it shows they love what they do. Definitely came in hot at first place and set the bar extremely high. 🙌 I am in love with it.

There honestly aren’t enough words to describe how amazing this venue is. It was thousands of dollars cheaper than a lot of other places I looked at, but it offered so much more. I didn’t even have to decorate. It came fully stocked with beautiful décor, and I got to choose exactly how I wanted everything to look from their selection. The bridal suite was absolutely perfect for getting ready. There were plenty of stations with mirrors and outlets, so me and my girls had everything we needed. Downstairs, the groom's suite was awesome too with a pool table, air hockey, and even a little putt putt golf setup. We got married in the Wisteria Garden, and it was pure magic. It’s an outdoor space with full coverage, so even if it rains, you’re totally fine. The top is all tree branches that have grown together, creating this beautiful natural canopy that makes you feel like you're in your own private fairytale. One of the coolest things about this venue is that the owners used to be photographers, so the entire space is designed with perfect photo ops in mind. They also have an open catering policy, which was a huge plus. We brought in food from a local Italian place up the street, and it worked out perfectly. Honestly, there was nothing about this venue that disappointed me. And if you're on a budget, they offer weekday weddings by the hour, which makes it even more affordable. I would 100 percent recommend this place to anyone looking for a stunning, stress free wedding venue.

Definitely book immediately! The property is gorgeous with so many locations for each part of the day. The bridal suite was amazing and I loved having the space to escape to. Casey was so incredibly kind and patient. She was also super thorough and organized so the day went smoothly and hassle free. Cannot recommend this place enough.

The day-of coordinator was super helpful in getting ready for the big day! They were available for questions but didn't get in the way of us setting up our own decorations. They also were very helpful in customizing the layout of the venue to better fit our needs. And the building itself was perfect! Everyone thought it was beautiful and we got lots of great pictures from everyone all around the property!

We booked Troutdale House last minute because our first venue shut down (we had a lower guest count by this point so Troutdale House was an option for us) — and we are so thrilled to say that this venue was even better than our original. Troutdale House really offers so much for your money, so it's money well spent! Gorgeous photo areas, room to spread out but still feel connected, a beautiful and rustic feel. My husband and I could not have been happier to end up here and we are very thankful to everyone on staff at Troutdale House for accommodating us and making our big day so memorable.

The Troutdale House is an amazing venue! We had our wedding here last weekend and everything was perfect. We loved their laid-back attitude and their “bring the vendors you want” policy. The place has a ton of charm and character. Our guests loved all the games downstairs and we really appreciated how many extras came with the rental. They always responded super quickly to emails (a rare trait among wedding vendors) and were happy to answer any and all questions. If you’re looking for a fun venue that’s packed with value, the Troutdale House is definitely your place!

My kid's wedding was this past weekend at The Troutdale House. I cannot express how happy we were with our choice. They have so many options for you to use that are included in the rental cost, and although we didn't use very many of them, it's a nice addition if you're on a budget! Casey, the venue manager, did a great job running our rehearsal and owners Laura and Martin were AMAZING the day of, in what was an unprecedented winter weather event with record low temperatures necessitating some last minute pivoting. Thank you, so much, for creating a warm, welcoming and affirming day for our LGBTQ+ kids.

Loved this venue! There are so many different rooms to explore, my wedding guests were complimenting it all night. The biggest perk is the included decorations! The artificial flowers, all the tables, the linens, the center pieces and even some signage were provided by the venue at no extra cost!

Casey and the Troutdale House staff made our daughter’s wedding beyond perfect! We had a small wedding of 70 people in mid August so we had to take into consideration location, amenities, quality, and photography options. The Troutdale House provided everything we needed including the bar with air conditioning an upstairs and downstairs for the groomsmen and bridesmaids to get ready comfortable and separately. The surpassed all our expectations and we HIGHLY recommmend this venue and Casey a coordinator to make your special day, magical!

My husband and I got married here April 2023. What a beautiful venue! We loved how every detail of this place is made to accommodate a lovely wedding/event. We were happy with our conversations with the owner and the wedding coordinator, and everything was set up exactly as outlined by our contract. A really great deal considering is was one of the only budget-friendly options we found in our venue search!

Our wedding day at The Troutdale House was as wonderful as we had hoped, everything went smoothly at the rehearsal and the day of. Our vendors had no issues finding the venue and getting set up, and the bridal and bachelor suites were perfect for our getting ready times. I was so happy woth how everything turned out! The Troutdale House was the perfect venue for our small late summer wedding. It has amazing amenities, professional staff, great value, and it provides a really cozy intimate feel while still having room for large crowds if needed.

You couldn't pick a more beautiful venue for your wedding. They have so much to offer no matter the time of year. The also have decorations that you can use at no extra charge. The coordinator was extremely helpful. We had to change our date 3 times due to COVID and they were very accommodating every time. There are so many different locations to take photos as well.

This is a beautiful venue and the employees here take excellent care of you. Whatever you need done in terms of set-up, even helping you decorate with their spare decor, they will do. They even provided a day of coordinator for us, but we happened to have our own, so they worked together like a dream team. Just awesome! There are several spaces indoor/outdoor to hold a wedding. Bear in mind its next to trains and the schedule is impossible to prep for, however, none came by during the ceremony for us.

The whole staff was great to work with! A great value for what you get and you can bring in all your own food and alcohol ❤️ We had an amazing time and our guests raved about how amazing the place is!

This venue was everything we wanted for our wedding! The area with the wisteria is covered so you don’t have to worry about rain and the inside is air conditioned. The kitchen was perfect for our caterer and all of the venue staff were very helpful and friendly. They also have all the appropriate accommodations for any disabled guests you may have, which was awesome!

We were married here July 2022 and it was fantastic! The whole process from touring the venue, booking, selecting decor and arrangements, rehearsal, and then having the wedding was incredibly easy and stress free. Every decoration, sign, flower, table, chair, linen, and dishware that we wanted they set up and cleaned up themselves, leaving us free to enjoy the night without extra work and saving us the money of paying for a florist. The staff was incredibly helpful and answered every question I had. Yes, there are trains, but if you're inside the building you can hardly hear them. They're very communicative and organized, professional and fun. Would absolutely book this venue again and highly recommend!

We had a magical time at our wedding and loved all of the different areas we could use in the venue. It gave a great vintage feel that matched my style perfectly. The staff was super helpful and accommodating. Definitely a wonderful place for a wedding to never forget!

Amazing venue with so many options for a GREAT price. On top of that, the staff were above and beyond helpful. They even sent me pictures of the decor they had when i would randomly text them just to make sure everything was perfect. If you’re unsure- go visit! They have so many places where you have have your ceremony so it is authentically you. 10/10 would recommend

This venue allows you to customize the space the way you want with your own catering options, on own alcohol arrangements and a "keep Portland weird" fun-yet-funky venue vibe. Casey (onsite contact) was phenomenal.

The staff at The Troutdale House is PHENOMENAL! I had a difficult task of singing as I walked down the aisle and due to timing, it seemed as if it wouldn't work. There was also talk that I wouldn't be able to sing because the microphone wasn't long enough. However, they found a way to set it up where I could sing AND after I gave them the timing of when I needed to walk down the aisle to sing, they assisted and planned it perfectly. They were kind, fun spirited and a lovely bunch! I love that they allow any decorations (for the most part) to be used (I used black lights downstairs - I am sure not many venues would allow that)! The only part I wish I knew ahead of time was real flowers needed to be used for the outside prior to the wedding (months prior). Otherwise, communication was great and they were ready to be of assistance with everything!

This place was absolutely amazing! It's gorgeous, vintage styled with tons of space and in a perfect location. Our guests just loved it. Games downstairs, beautiful bar, beautifully decorated throughout, with plenty of amazing photo opportunities. It had everything we were looking for at a very reasonable price! The staff were so kind and helpful and genuine... Highly recommend!!

Omg not only is it beautiful but they are ready to help! They provided a coordinator to make sure the ceremony and setting up went well and you can bring your own food and decor (and I had trouble finding that at other places!) they have so many amazing venue options and they have their own light and sound system! They are amazing and I am so glad I picked them to host my special day!

The Troutdale House was amazing! Martin and Laura and their staff made every aspect of our big day exactly what we hoped for. Martin doubled as our photographer and the pictures turned out incredible! When we did our sunset pictures, it felt like we had our friends taking the pictures for us. They were laughing and telling jokes with us. I am sure whoever is reading this knows that with weddings comes a long to do list that can make things stressful. Martin and Laura did a great job taking away a lot of those stresses. The Troutdale House by the Sandy River is the perfect venue for couples who are looking for an eclectic, rustic, vibe on their wedding day. It is very reasonably priced considering you have access to the entire venue so there is no need to book separately for a place to conduct the ceremony. It has both outdoors and indoor options (which is great for Portland weather) and it already comes beautifully decorated so there is very little you need to do. I loved that we both had our own space to get ready; both the bridal and groom suites were perfect for spending time with the wedding parties and doing some pregaming :0) Most importantly, though, the staff was wonderful and offered a lot of day in preparation for and on the wedding day. Everyone was easily accessible, friendly, and easy to communicate with. Casey was fabulous and really made sure everything ran smoothly. It was the best day ever!

I have nothing but the best to say about the Troutdale House! From the price to all of the features they offer, you really can’t beat it. On top of that, they were incredibly flexible the day of my wedding when we had a very last minute decision on where the ceremony would be! Not only that, but the decor is fantastic, and there is plenty of room for people to hang out. I would recommend this venue to anyone getting married in Oregon because it is a great venue! Oh, and the bridal suite is to die for! Thank you again to all the people that work there and helped make my wedding day perfect!

We love the Troutdale House! Very flexible, affordable, offers a lot of perks that other venues do not. It is already beautiful enough, you don't need to buy a whole lot extra to decorate with

My husband and I just had our dream wedding at The Troutdale House and we couldn't be happier. The venue is gorgeous and the staff is wonderful. The owners, Laura & Martin, are amazing people and did everything in their power to make sure we had the best day ever. The manager, Jolynn, was awesome and was always very quick to respond to emails and questions and allowed for us to come see the venue as many times as we needed during the planning process. Our day of coordinator, Crystal, was also very helpful for both the rehearsal and the big day. We had a ton of decoration and special set up to do (even though the venue really doesn't need it as it's beautiful all by itself) and she was great at assisting my set up crew and really helped to make the day go smoothly. The venue is mainly a one stop shop and so much is included in one reasonable price (tables, chairs, linens, centerpieces, microphone, ice, etc). We are so happy that we chose The Troudale House and you will be too. Everything was just perfect and we can't say enough good things about it.

Great venue, staff was amazing and it was nice to have options of things to borrow. I wish I would have had a few other things that came with the price like dishes and glasses etc. I feel like the coordinators weren't all that helpful prior but the day of they were beyond amazing and helpful and made our day run smoothly.

This place is so beautiful. When me and my fiancé took a tour of the venue, I was on the phone with the owner and he comes running up to me telling me that this is the place we are gonna get married at. Made my heart melt. The place is mostly already decorated and the staff is incredible. There are so many options to choose from and themes in every room. This place is everything I have been dreaming about and I love that there are always little upgrades that the owner does to make the venue even better. I really like that there is specific spots for the DJ booth that is hidden so they don't end up in your pictures. I really liked the vintage appeal to everything. There were really great memorabilia showcased and the photo booth is awesome. My fiancé loved the grooms suite. My dad is a huge car fan and so he was really excited when he heard there are vintage cars at the venue. LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!!

We were married in April 2015 and we loved the all inclusive feel to the Troutdale House! The initial price tag was a little higher than some other venues we looked at, but we more than made up for it in not needing to do any additional rentals (tables, chairs, and tablecloths are all included). We've both been a part of so many weddings that end up being lots and lots of work for the bridal party and guests (we've all had to take down christmas lights from a ceiling at 12am or roll away tables to a distant closet), so I wanted something as easy as possible for my family and friends. That's the Troutdale House! The venue is booked for 10 hours that day, and you can buy more hours. Included you get a wedding day manager with extra staff, all the tables and chairs and tablecloths you need, and they do all the set up and tear down (bonus!!!). They will also let you bring in any caterer so you don't spend the rest of your money on an expensive "venue approved" caterer list. From the very beginning the staff were professional and friendly. If I had questions they would get back to me right away, and they had answers for everything! It was supposed to rain on our day, and had poured all day the day before, but it was sunny that morning so they set up for an outdoor ceremony anyway (which we had discussed before hand). The only thing that went wrong was the speakers for the downstairs portion did not work, which we were told they would. So anyone downstairs couldn't hear emcee announcements or toasts. Not a big deal for us, but could be for somebody else. If you book I would ask about this specifically. I would highly recommend the Troutdale House for anyone, but it especially for anyone with a large guest count looking for an indoor venue.

The Troutdale House is incredibly beautiful, with so many sweet spots for both fun and romantic pictures. The wedding coordinator was extremely helpful and I never realized how much I would want that calm, knowing presence until our rehearsal when she showed up and took care of everything. My family was able to leave less than an hour after we did, as the Troutdale crew took care of all the cleanup as well. It was a wonderful day and I couldn't have imagined a more perfect place to get married. I have nothing but good to say for them.

I fell in love with this venue the first time I saw photos on their website. When my fiance and I went and visited, we were very impressed with the owners (a couple) and with the venue itself. It was perfect for us! The location is stunning. There are now multiple locations on-site where you can choose to have your ceremony. We chose the new Bridal Park, and used the end with the wooden-covered archway. The venue is very beautiful as a background in our wedding photos. I took one star away from my overall rating due to what I felt was a lack of attention from the on-site coordinators during the wedding, particularly the reception. I think our expectation of the assistance we were going to get from the coordinators was higher than what we actually received. We certainly take responsibility for this... but it was disappointing nonetheless.

I had so many questions and Laura the owner was always so nice and responded quickly. She let me come out to see the venue anytime I wanted or needed. Not only is it a beautiful venue, they provide the flowers, table cloths, center pieces and some extras. I really feel that our wedding was meant to be there. That any other place would not have been as perfect. It may look small, but we has 200 guests and it was more than big enough!! :) I loved having our very special day at the Troutdale House! Especially with such a Special couple. Thank you Martin and Laura!!!

My husband and I looked for the perfect place to get married and hold our reception. Once we found the Trout dale House we knew it was the perfect place for our special day. Laura, the owner, is so incredibly sweet and has thought of everything. The price was very reasonable for all that was included huge bridal suite, lots of room to dance, plenty of comfortable seating for guests, game tables for the kids. Everyone said they loved our wedding and thought the Troudale House was perfect. The wedding coordinators was absolute angels, they made the day run smoothly and calmed my nerves, with everything taken care of for the day. It was truly the wedding of our dreams!

This venue is already decorated beautifully (felt like home) and they were very reasonably priced. Laura, the owner of the venue, was very flexible and had lots of great advise to give us. We were able to buy our own alcohol and choose any caterer we wanted so we could stay within our budget. I am SO glad we held our wedding here. It was absolutely perfect.

The Troutdale House is not only a great place for a Wedding but after My Daughters Wedding, I can see that it could be used for any type of party or get together! The Help there was great and stay all though the wedding to make sure that every thing went will!! A beautiful place to have pictures also!

My husband and I are so pleased with our experience with Martin and Laura! They were so helpful from the first time we toured the venues to the fifth time we walked through with our planning crew. They were so great about letting us come walk through and plan out how we wanted to decorate and letting us come through with our florist so she could fit her vision to the reality of the venue. We were worried that it would be awkward having the reception split upstairs and downstairs but it ended up being so nice having a downstairs! We hired a few babysitters and got some crafts to create a children's area downstairs and the game area was great for the teen/young adult crowd. Our other concern was the size of the dance floor but we actually ended up enjoying having it be rectangular because we were able to use in numerous ways. One great bonus was being able to bring in our own food and drinks. After touring numerous venues we truly realized the benefit of this. In fact, our cost for the space rental and food/drinks was less than many of the other venues food and beverage minimums. (My dad has a few chef friends who offered their services so we saved a lot there) I would definitely recommend this venue to friends who are getting married.

No bride wants to plan an outdoor wedding and then have the ONLY day the whole month that it rains be your wedding day. All I can say to that is THANK GOD for the Troutdale House! From the moment I saw it, I knew it was the perfect venue. My husband and I were planning and paying for everything ourselves, and the Troutdale House was perfect. Then when I got to my rehearsal time and Kim was there... It made my day! I thought we would have to do the run through all by ourselves, but she made everything go smooth. Then there was waking up to the rain... The pouring rain.. Everything was moved inside, and no one missed a beat! Kim set everything up perfect and was SO helpful with everything! SHE WAS AND IS AMAZING! I never saw the few kids at the wedding because they were playing downstairs on the Fosse Ball, Air Hockey, or pool table (with parental supervision). I was lucky and smart enough to book Laura's husband Martin of Martini Photography for my photographer, so I also had them there helping and making sure everything went off without a hitch! I am actually happy we moved everything inside... Walking down the stairs and seeing my husband waiting for me... The best feeling ever. If you are a bride and want the perfect venue... THIS IS IT!
