Darrell and the staff at the Tumwater Room did an excellent job for our wedding. The food was very good, the service was amazing, and the view was beautiful. They helped us throu...
gh every step of the process and made planning a wedding simple, especially since they were able to provide nearly all services as a package. We highly recommend this venue.
My overall experience with the venue was actually amazing! It wasn't until after the wedding that we experienced any problems. The venue is gorgeous, the price is so reasonable, an...
d the staff are great! The only problem we had was with the manager. He wasn't very friendly and isn't much of a people person. But his staff was wonderful and was so helpful. I would completely recommend it, just be extra nice to the manager!
We recently held our daughter's wedding at the Tumwater Room. The staff was professional and helped us with so many details. Their referrals saved us a lot of money and helped to...
create a wedding that was over-the-top fun. Our daughter was beautiful and the wedding ceremony one that made tears come to my eyes.
The Tumwater Room is beautiful! The views stunning. Their in-house catering company, Alimenti Catering, provided the most delicious meal at such an affordable price I was amazed. Their staff was not only professional and polite but gracious in every step of the way.
A wonderful venue!

ded meetings there with my company that is located in Portland.
The room has recently been remodeled and is beautiful! Cherry wood floors, cathedral ceilings and custom lighting add to the ambience. The staff is incredible and willing to work with the bride and groom to create the perfect occasion. Natasha is the in-house wedding coordinator and a fantastic resource for ideas as well as the various vendors that are available for weddings. She really helped us during our wedding!
They have a wonderful in-house catering company (that is incredibly, surprisingly affordable!) but they also allow outside food venders to serve at the facility. The room has spaces to accommodate 12 to 299 people.
The room has dramatic 360-degree views of the area and overlooks the historic Willamette Falls.
Overall, pretty incredible!

We worked with James at the Tumwater Room to plan our September 2010 wedding. He was very nice and responsive, answered our questions and opened up the building for a tour when we ...
came in from out of town with family. We used an outside (non-preferred) caterer, but negotiated to avoid their extra fees.
When it came time for the wedding day, we were able to set up the afternoon before, which saved us a great headache the day-of because this venue doesn't do ANY work for you. Once you sign the contract, their only responsibility is to open the doors and place tables where you requested. We had to bring in a team of 20 people to set up the entire reception in two hours. Be prepared to do the same for cleanup.
This is a good space with a beautiful view, but facilities are not as clean/nice as they could be (nicks in walls, one option for chairs). Its a good place if you're into DIY, but if you don't want to be responsible for all the set up & clean up make sure you hire someone else to do it! IF you just need a room, look here. If you're looking for a full-value package, I would recommend going elsewhere.
