t was wonderful to work with in crafting our event and everything concerning the venue went perfectly smoothly. If you’re looking for a unique space for a wedding or another event, I highly recommend The Turn.

entleman that was part of their team there helping that night did amazing. He made sure i (the bride) was taken care of before the ceremony and did so much during the reception. Curt, the owner, was there the day of making sure everything was setup right. We never felt alone or not sure what to do the wedding night. The venue is amazing. We used it for a 60 people wedding and it felt just the right size! Wendy and Curt really made sure the space didn’t look too big with our smaller guest count. I would recommend to everyone

We had about 100 guests and the space was perfect, nothing was too crowded and there was plenty of room for our dance floor, taco bar, and DJ to all set up. Curt made the planning process straightforward and stress-free by doing 3 consultation/check in meetings between us booking with the Turn and our wedding day. He was a huge help with communicating what he needed as the venue, information for our vendors, and any things we might've missed in our planning. Additionally a highlight of working with the Turn was that they did our centerpieces and table decor, included in our package when we booked with them! This eliminated so much stress and additional decor costs. The table decor was BEAUTIFUL and was customized to what we envisioned for our wedding and our colors, which was lovely as well. Another highlight was they made it very easy to provide our own alcohol and bartenders for our wedding as opposed to requiring we go through a caterer or in-house service, which saved a ton of money. While we didn't do our ceremony at The Turn since originally our guest count was a bit higher, I'm sure they would've done the ceremony just as perfectly as they handled the reception. Overall it was just a perfect experience working with the Turn—Curt and his wife are friendly, helpful, and make you feel like they truly care about you having the best wedding possible. We highly recommend them for your wedding or any events!

ous. The Turn offers beautiful decor and furniture pieces, with my wedding day turning out exactly as I dreamed. It was also extremely convenient as they provide plating, drink ware, table decor, and other miscellaneous items, saving us so much time and money. We had a 68 person wedding and it was the perfect size—spacious but also cozy. I am so happy we had our wedding at the turn!

hey were very accommodating about our wishes and made sure that everything came together perfectly. The venue is in a great location with plenty of parking nearby as well as other restaurants and hotels. Our wedding reception had about 85 guest and it was the perfect size, plenty of room for everyone without feeling overly crowded or too roomy. The staff on site the day of our wedding was so helpful and kind (even making sure my husband and our photographers had snacks and drinks brought to us while we were hiding before our entrance). Curt was always willing to answer any questions I had, even ones I thought were silly. I definitely made the right choice when choosing The Turn!!

The contract is low maintenance and gives the couple a lot of flexibility in making the day exactly what they want. It's the perfect intimate space. More than that, though, working with the people of 828 The Turn made it all worth it!

t and he was great to work with on all of the planning and organizing. We met in person 4 times before the wedding to go over everything, which was VERY helpful. The day of our wedding went so smoothly and everything looked gorgeous. It was so great to have the centerpieces and most of the décor provided because that was one less thing I had to worry about. We also opted to use the outdoor space for our ceremony, and then have pub tables outside for our guest to mingle. It was absolutely beautiful. We spent some time upstairs "hiding" from guests and waiting for the ceremony to start and while the upstairs is not really advertised because it's not well lit and is storage for all of the antique furniture, the pictures we took up there turned out the best! We didn't mind the clutter because we were just sitting around, so it didn't really matter, but that area would be AMAZING if they could figure out how to make it look a little cleaner and more accessible. They had a gorgeous antique couch up there just sitting in the most beautiful spot in front of the windows and those pictures we took there were amazing! They should really clean that little spot up a bit and advertise that area because omg was it amazing. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because I felt like there were a lot of hidden costs. It seems like every time we met there was something we could add on for "an extra cost." I know that's just the wedding business and it is what it is, but it would have been nice to have a list of all of the add-ons and their prices right from the beginning. We ended up going with a lot of the extras, so the total we paid ended up looking a lot different than that first number we were quoted. We also ended up having to get chairs last minute for the outside ceremony because that was not something that was mentioned to us at first. I know the outdoor space was very new and it had not been utilized for a wedding when we signed our contract (a year and a half before the wedding), but the chairs were never mentioned until our second or third meeting when we were told that the venue could provide 30 chairs (for an extra cost, of course). Our guest list was 110 people and I was told the rest of the of our guests could stand. That was absolutely not what I wanted at all, so I ended up ordering chairs from another company. In the end, I wouldn't have done anything differently. Working with Curt was great and the venue was gorgeous. It was everything I wanted for my wedding. The attendants the venue provided were amazing and they helped everything run so smoothly. Even though there were extra costs, I knew what I wanted and I was very happy with how everything went. I would highly recommend this venue!

Unique to their space, they have a giant chalkboard wall that you can have customized with chalk art for your event; I would highly recommend! I LOVE that you get to bring your own food (catered or not), and even better, you supply your own drinks (including alcohol). The outside patio with gorgeous string lights is perfect and it gave our guests an additional space to hang out. There are heaters for cold weather, which was perfect for our wedding. 828 The Turn is perfect for a wedding, shower, rehearsal dinner, really any event! This venue is absolutely gorgeous and I cannot wait to have my next event here!

We just got married a few months ago and had to change plans last minute due to COVID restrictions (100 guests to 25, and moved the wedding up within a week's notice), and they did everything they could to make our day safe, perfect, and just as cared for as the wedding we had planned! Every detail at 828 has been thought for, I saved precious money and stress not having to think about decorations because they have everything you need already on the tables and in storage for you to use!! They meet with you several times leading up to the wedding to make sure they can answer all of your questions and give you the vision that you're after. We did both ceremony and reception here, but it would honestly be the perfect spot if you were just looking for reception too! If you're even thinking about this place, make an appointment to check it out, you will not regret it.

Wendy and Kurt were wonderful to work with, I realized the night before our wedding that I had forgotten an entire table of guest on my seating chart and they worked with me at 8:00 the night before to revise the seating layout. They literally take care of everything for you; the gorgeous unique centerpieces and vintage china place settings, table numbers and display stands, you name it and they are probably able to help you out. All of our guest were enamored with the space and so many people came up to me on our wedding night and couldn't stop raving about the venue and how unique and beautiful it was. Sincerely can't say enough wonderful things about this space and the people who run it. Also the ability to stock your own bar was the icing on the cake!

a new venue called 828 and I loved The Turn Vintage Warehouse so I immediately contacted them on The Knot! Boy oh boy, Curt answered so many of my questions right off the bat, as I had a lot, and we were able to get in to see the venue so fast! I fell in love and felt we should have had our wedding here all along! It was so me, so us, so everything we needed in the chaos that was happening! The process for planning was made easy when Wendy got involved and she really let me have whatever I envisioned! I am still blown away as I think back to the Wedding day, as everything looked so amazing and exactly how I wanted it! We could have had double the amount of guests if we needed, as 828 has so much space! I am so glad we had our ceremony facing the doors as our pictures turned out so beautiful! If you decide to have your wedding here, use their preferred catering list! We did and the working relationship was so amazing! They worked with eachother so well! We had both our ceremony and reception and it was beyond what I anticipated! I could go on and on... Just very friendly and amazing people to work with!

n we realized that wouldn't be possible due to COVID restrictions, we asked The Turn to change our reservation by one day and host a dinner after our small wedding ceremony, with about 40 people. Changing our plans with them was so easy. They were communicative and flexible and the space is absolutely gorgeous.

Sound system, chairs, tables, and beautiful vintage pieces were all there at our disposal and we didn’t have to set anything up ourselves. It is truly the perfect location for any event!

ally took into account all of our tastes. Our guests commented all night on how unique and fun our venue was. We had 93 people for a sit down dinner and the space did not feel cramped at all (I was clearly very nervous about it!). Becky was so helpful ahead of the event and made so many accommodations for us. We wanted one table that sat 12 people so our family could all be together -- although they do not normally do that, they made it work for us! We also had a few pieces that we wanted to work into the centerpieces and they did it no problem! My in-laws were from out of town and wanted to drop things off the day before and they were accommodating. They also wanted to show a slideshow during the event and The Turn made it easy to get the equipment. I cannot stress how easy they made the whole event! Last thing -- for potential brides, this place is perfect because you can bring in your own catering, alcohol, and bartenders. This saves so much $$!! For our size, we hired one person from The Turn to be there on the day of (not bartenders) and it was totally worth it! They kept the buffet, drinks, and tables fully stocked and were very helpful in cleaning up. I would love to serve as a reference for The Turn and would recommend it to anyone for any event!

n a venue. We could bring our own caterers and alcohol which saved us a ton of money versus venues that make you pick certain caterers and beverage options. Wendy and Becky were absolutely wonderful to work with. They're very knowledgeable but also made sure that the style matched what my husband (!) and I wanted. We did have quite a few issues with the attendant that was there the night of the wedding, but when Wendy (the owner) was made aware of the situation, she came promptly and resolved the situation and stayed for the rest of the night. You can tell that Wendy has a lot of pride in her business and wants the couples who have weddings there to have everything they need and for it to be as stress-free as possible. Also, the fact that they set all the decorations up (besides what you bring) and tear it all down is so amazing. It relieved so much stress because my husband and I were so exhausted when the night was over. We even forgot a few things at the venue and they were kind enough to reach out to the person working next store a few days after to let me in to get them, even though Wendy was out of town. I've gotten so many compliments on the venue from guests and people who have seen guest photos. I can't wait to get the preview from the photographers, but I don't think professional photography can show just how beautiful and magical The Turn was for my wedding day.
