About this vendor
Your wedding isn’t just a day. It’s the beginning of a legacy, a story told in shared smiles, heartfelt vows, and unrestrained laughter. These aren’t just photos—they’re the moments you’ll hold onto when the dust settles and the years stretch ahead.
I’m here for the real, the raw, the deeply felt. The kind of moments you'll revisit, side by side on a front porch swing fifty years from now, gently turning the pages of your wedding album and remembering how it all began.
I am so pumped that you are here, if we haven't yet got the chance to meet, I'm Mel— an Oklahoma based wedding + elopement photographer serving the OK, TX, + beyond. I have traveled all over the U.S. documenting love stories just like yours for the past 7 years. (okay not just like yours bc everyones love story is unique)
My approach to your wedding day is all about two things. Documenting your love in a way that feels authentic to you + making sure you have the best time while we do it— more real moments + less perfectly curated portraits. Those are the moments you want to remember most anyways am I right?!

Mel is seriously an artist! From the beginning before we even booked her, we felt so comfortable talking to her. During our engagement she made us feel so comfortable and we got th...
em back so quick! Then leading up to the wedding, she constantly checked in to see if we needed help with anything. She gave us helpful resources and vendor recommendations. Then day of the wedding… just amazing! I seriously cannot thank her enough for catching all the little details and all the special moments and going with the quick requests I asked or changed. Then getting our previews just made me cry and wish we could redo our day only to experience it again! Mel is just absolutely amazing and she will forever have a client from us in all our family pictures and milestones from now on out!
Mel was fantastic to work with, she kept our formal photos short but sweet like we asked and got a ton of excellent shots. The pictures were excellent quality and she did all this ...
while blending in to the celebration catching candid photos and important moments.
I'm not sure there are enough words to express how wonderful Mel is as a person and a photographer. We hired the turquoise lens for engagement, family rehearsal dinner photos, and ...
our wedding. She's professional, easy to work with, and her work is phenomenal. Neither my husband or I are comfortable in front of a camera, but Mel made it easy to relax, have fun and was able to capture genuine emotions from both of us. Not only does she take awesome pictures she easily wrangles the errant family member for formal group shots and kept the wilder groomsman on the tight timeline for photos. She easily captured all the big moments from our wedding and smaller more intimate moments without being obtrusive, my husband and I had no idea she was taking photos of us half the time. We can not recommend Mel enough to help you capture your big day. We wouldn't have wanted anyone else.
Melissa was wonderful, and so helpful! She was also prompt with her responses and laid things out so well! I would refer her to anyone!

could work with her for hours with how easy she makes the process. Her thorough communication made sure we got every picture we wanted and her experience ensured it was all executed in a timely manor. Our bridal party loved her creative ideas and ability to easily explain poses. I was a little hesitant not hiring a videographer, but there was no need as Mel truly did captured every moment of our wedding day. A picture is worth a thousand words but Mel’s work completely speaks for itself! Couldn’t be happier with the results!
