Robert did an amazing job as our officiant! He really took the time to get to know us as a couple and tell the story of us during our ceremony. He kept everyone engaged, laughing, and kept the ceremony short and sweet for our 90 degree outdoor wedding! We highly recommend going with Robert for your special day!

Robert delivered an amazing ceremony that really focused on our story and was really 'about us'. He was very attentive during the planning process and facilitated every little detail we wanted!

Robert was the absolute best! He worked well with us was quick to make any changes needed and captured both me and my now husband perfectly in the ceremony speech. He took his time with everything he had to explain on at the rehearsal and made sure we felt calm and ready on the day of! It was also great that he got to have fun and brought life to the group he made sure everything went according to plan and his special flare fight right in too! We really wanted a ceremony that wasn’t drawn out and sounded stuffy and honestly Robert made such a fun and warm ceremony I couldn’t have been happier!

Robert did an incredible job at our wedding last month, and was so fun to work with! From first meeting Robert in person, we knew it wouldn't be a special day without him officiating. His personality and character are plain from the start. Robert was undoubtedly a joy to work with! From the moment my now husband and I spoke with him we knew he'd be our officiant. He was single handedly the best part of our ceremony, he told our story in just such a way that was authentic to us and who we are. Clear and concise communication throughout the planning process, even going as far to do a small ceremony, rehearsal dinner and a bigger ceremony within two months for us. And he showed up decked out in full Jedi garb, as a Star Wars fan it was pretty epic. If you are looking for someone who is unique and willing to make things special, Robert is the guy. our wedding was a complete success and we couldn't have been happier with how things turned out. His services were outstanding in every way. If you are wanting something truly individualized or fun compared to how most ceremonies are, hire him, you won't regret it! Robert was awesome for our wedding. His writing brought laughter, and happy tears during the ceremony. He was easy to work with and we had a great talk with him going over our relationship where he took the time to make a great summary of it all. His energy is great, which helps if you're pacing before the wedding out of excitement/anxiety haha.

My wife and I were in a bind when our planned officiant cancelled on us, and so we hired Robert roughly 4 weeks before our wedding in a panic. His communication was clear from the beginning that he had two other ceremonies scheduled on the same day as our wedding, and that his service might be delayed or below standard, but he was clearly being modest because his service was exceptional from start to finish even with severe constraints. We received a draft of our speech in a very timely manner after our meeting with him, and we even made several last minute changes that Robert handled with a level of professionalism which showed a tremendous experience at his craft. We had an absolutely amazing experience working with him, and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an officiant who is both friendly and accommodating. Just maybe give him some more time to work than we did because I am sure he would appreciate it!

Robert was a joy to work with! He really took time to get to know my husband and I's story. He was very professional and the ceremony he wrote was perfect, sweet with some comic relief. I had multiple guests say how great of a job he did too. Definitely recommend.

We had interviewed several officiants before meeting Robert and were immediately impressed with his attention to detail and expertise. He asked the right questions and got to know our story in a short period of time. The day before at the rehearsal, we could tell he was a seasoned professional, and he made us very confident that everything would go off without a hitch during our ceremony. After the ceremony, we had several of our guests ask how long we had been friends or how he knew us so well, he was that good! His humor, eloquent story telling, and attention to detail are all top notch!

Robert was an absolute blast to work with. He sat down with us and really got to know who we are and our story. I mean if you can make an interview session fun you definitely are doing an amazing job. We're also a couple that likes some tradition but we also enjoy making them our own. He gave amazing suggestions on how we could take normally traditional parts of the wedding and spice them up with our personality. The ceremony he gave was both emotional and gave us the moments of humor that we needed. He not only was relaxed during any turmoil during the ceremony he actively helped us navigate it in a fun and relaxed manner. Robert made our special day even more special and I think that above all else is the highest compliment I can give.

Robert is the best. My husband and I wanted a unique ceremony and Robert was able to provide that. During our first meeting, he listened to our story and helped us decide on other details that we never even thought of. He then told our story in a way that we would have never thought of. There were plenty of laughs and serious moments that just made our day perfect and our guests could not stop talking about how wonderful he was. If you want a unique ceremony where your love story is the center of the day, I would highly recommend him. We could not have picked a better officiant!!!

Robert was great and helped us immensely with our crazy COVID-19 wedding that we planned in less than two months. He conducted an extensive interview in order to create the most personal and individualized service we could have imagined (AND he also laughed at all of our "cute" stories that he has probably heard from other couples a billion times). It also downpoured during our outdoor ceremony in the middle of the woods and he never complained as he signed our wedding license kneeling in front of our car in the pouring rain (we forgot it in the car, like a couple of newbies). Anyway, could not recommend him enough! Our parents still talk about the personal ceremony we had!

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, my fiancé and I decided to have a small and intimate marriage ceremony with our immediate families. We contacted Robert to officiant our wedding a few weeks before the ceremony. Robert was flexible, met with us via Skype, and helped us create a beautiful and unique ceremony. He did an amazing job, which made the ceremony a fun and memorable event. It was a very special day for us, and we are glad to have had Robert be a part of it.

Robert was able to capture our story and specific details of our lives together during our initial meeting and turned it into a fun, captivating story for the ceremony. We had so many compliments from our guests. We also had to postpone our wedding due to the pandemic and Robert was really accommodating when it came to changing dates. Robert is the best officiant EVER! My first experience with Robert was when he married my sister. Their ceremony was so sweet and personal, as soon as I got engaged Robert was the first person I called! Working with him on the ceremony was so much fun. He met with us to get all the details of our relationship and how we met and why we love each other. His ceremony was so personal to us as a couple and our love story, he just made the whole experience so special for us. He was really good at accommodating all the details that were important to me and being flexible to all of our suggestions and edits to the ceremony text. I would highly recommend Robert to anyone looking for an AWESOME officiant and a wonderful ceremony!!!!

This review is a long time coming. Thanks to Rev Woof, my wife and I were able to carry out our non-traditional wedding where other officiants would not (we were in fact awkwardly declined by another officiant who labeled himself open minded)! He was incredibly receptive to understanding that this would be my wife and I's special day and anything he could do to be a part of it and make it come true, he would do his best. Long story short, he was perfect. Here's to coming on 2 years without a hitch! By the way, if you are reading this Rev, we have not opened our fight box yet!

He was suggested to us by a friend since we wanted an unconventional wedding. He was AMAZING! He worked with us every step of the way. Met with us at the location to go over the ceremony, kept in constant touch, and was very flexible. Had to make a change literally last minute and he was able to accommodate us. Very friendly, knowledgable, and easy to work with, I would definitely suggest him for type of wedding ceremony.

We received so many great compliments on our ceremony! He has a great sense of humor and we had a great time throughout the whole process. More importantly he managed to capture our dynamic perfectly and put how we felt into words. This man is amazing at what he does. He definitely exceeded our expectations and gave us a memorable experience. My husband and I had a hard time finding someone for our personal and non religious wedding. I stumbled on Robert and the reviews looked good so we met in person. Fast forward to our wedding and I would never choose or recommend anyone else! He was beyond amazing for us. He took our stories and turned it into the most beautiful personal ceremony, better than we could have hoped. He threw in some quotes from our favorite movies and hobbies subtle enough only our closest friends caught them. We had so many people come up to us after raving about the ceremony. It was all thanks to our amazing officiant. I’ll never recommend anyone else.

Robert was absolutely perfect. Throughout the night after the ceremony we continuously got comments about where we found him, and how funny and genuine he was during our ceremony. He was punctual, responded in a timely manner, and got us our script well in advance for adjustments to be made. If you are looking for someone who can make your wedding yours, I suggest you meet with Robert!

Robert did an absolute amazing job officiating our wedding. We met with Robert several months prior to the ceremony & he kept in touch with us on a regular basis up to the day of the wedding, providing us with updates/edits/etc. He has a wonderful personality & great lighthearted sense of humor, of which everyone at our wedding loved. Robert was very professional, yet very personable. We found Robert via the Knot & are so glad we did.

I’m not a big wedding person and we are going to do an overseas wedding just us on a private beach/island, but we ended up doing a wedding where we live first as the real one so our families could be there (75 people of just family). So then all the wedding tasks racked up and we needed an officiant since we did our ceremony/reception at Graystone Wine Cellar. We weren’t doing our church leaders at an off church site, so we got to searching, and I think I have looked at every vendor website in the entire state. Some were people who just showed up right before and read a short basic script, some were catholic leaders that weren’t marrying people in a Catholic Church which isn’t considered appropriate if you are actually catholic (which is fine to me but just odd). We had two family members who could technically make it legal as a backup. The reviews helped me search through the rest - a few others on here seemed wonderful. But reading all of Robert’s amazing reviews caught our eye. We did a very elegant/formal wedding so we thought, would this be too quirky (which I absolutely love but just not what we were going for this day)? However, seeing he is an English bachelor and masters degree, and a great public speaker and writer, we knew he could probably do any type of ceremony but make it something people won’t fall asleep to and something we would enjoy standing up there too. I didn’t want to just go through the motions and stand up there looking around until the speech and formalities were done just waiting for the food and cocktails. The cost was way above worth it for a hand written from scratch entire ceremony centered around us and our story, all from just a quick meeting with him before. We never could have done it, nor had the time to do it ourselves, and there was something that just fit better with the officiant being the one who came up with it and said it. When you think of all the wedding costs, not to mention you will get far more here for what you pay, this is actually the one cost you should actually pay for since it is the actual wedding ceremony and what the entire day is actually about - not the party and reception or decor. It was so elegant but funny and personal, the crowd was engaged, and I have never heard so many compliments on an officiant before or for the whole event. We loved every minute of it. And he did a beautiful, formal, and religious ceremony for us so effortlessly. He showed up early, well dressed, well prepared and organized, flexible, ensured our paperwork was good, and was a wonderful presence. Availability for a rehearsal was great too. We highly recommend you talk to him about the possibilities for your big day. The reviews are what sold me, but he was far more than we could have expected. I would book him ASAP to ensure he is available for your date. Thank you Robert!!!!

We selected Robert for our May 31st wedding and could NOT be happier! He understood our desire to mix traditional with nontraditional and was willing to not only tolerate but participate in our wacky sense of humor. Our ceremony was so personal, well written and orated that even with a small close group of 75 guests, people still thought Robert was a close friend of ours they didn't know! Robert even went out of his way to do a separate rehearsal with us before meeting with the venue to help ensure our kids had an understanding of what to expect. I'd give him 10 stars if I could...we were that pleased with his services.

It captured our relationship perfectly, incorporated the unique elements we asked for, had a great sense of humor to it, and required very little editing on our part. Robert was also extremely helpful and so fun to work with when it came to both our rehearsal and our actual ceremony. We had so many family and friends come up to us throughout our reception to tell us how much they loved the ceremony, and that it was one of the best wedding ceremonies they had ever seen. Many of our family and friends also asked us how long we have known Robert, and were so surprised to hear that we had only met him recently, which I think speaks to how good he is at what he does. My new husband and I are thrilled that we picked Robert to be our officiant on our big day! Upon meeting him for the first time we were a little taken back by the situation - we're both quiet and keep to ourselves - but within a few minutes Robert made us feel comfortable and made the whole process easy. When you're having a themed wedding like ours, it's difficult to find someone who is willing to go along with this. We had a Kingdom Hearts wedding and Robert incorporated aspects of that game into our ceremony flawlessly. My husband and I loved it so much we are actually going to print it off and frame it as a keepsake. If you're looking for a non-religious person to marry you, Robert really is the best you can find. He was ALWAYS on time - even to the rehearsal when the men were not - and went above and beyond for us! Funny story - my husband actually forgot our marriage license, and Robert hung around longer than he was supposed to so we could have someone run and get it. I would 100% recommend using Robert's services for your wedding day, as he takes the steps to make your wedding truly and uniquely yours!

We started out our wedding planning journey struggling a bit because no one talks about who marries you if you're not religious, and you don't "just want to go down to the courthouse"...enter Robert. When I found him, he was very patient and professional with us, and immediately after we met up for the first time, he put us at ease - it was like we had known him forever; he is definitely "our kind of people". The ceremony he drafted had me crying and laughing all at the same time; it was exactly what we wanted. He shared most of our geeky tendencies, and was absolutely tickled when we asked him to come dressed as his favorite Doctor Who regeneration! (happened to be the same as me; 10....!!!) Every single person who I talked to said it was the perfect representation of us, and we couldn't agree more! We were laughing the entire day, and the photos are the proof - it was perfect. I sincerely appreciate all of the work that he put in for us, for not laughing at us during our Shotski ceremony (LOL), and for making our big day one of the most memorable experiences of our lives <3 (And PS, the game night invite is coming after the 1st of the year; get ready!!!)

Robert is AMAZING! Everyone who present for the ceremony asked if he was our friend because he just captured our relationship so well. My guests overwhelmingly said how it was the best ceremony they have ever seen and truly loved it. He is great at what he does and I cannot recommend him enough for your wedding, you will not be disappointed with him officiating your marriage ceremony.

Robert was wonderful. We met him in a Panera bread near our home to discuss what we wanted for the ceremony, and to tell him about us. He also had a great idea for having a sapling as part of the ceremony, instead of a hand fasting or sand ceremony. We got the script for our ceremony about a week before the wedding, we had very few changes. As a former full time and current part time English teacher, Robert wrote very well. He was involved in our rehearsal as well. The ceremony was light and a lot of fun, very funny as well. We had a great time, as did the guests!

Like we told Robert, if we could give him 8,000 stars we would. He made every step of this process absolutely enjoyable. He sat down with us and got to know us and our story and he created a perfect ceremony that was personalized just for us. Robert was outstanding. We instantly felt comfortable with him at our introductory meeting, and the rehearsal was great. He was professional and directed everything, but also helped to lighten the mood (stress before a wedding haha). The ceremony he wrote was unique and so special to us and our guests. Robert was amazing! He was the first officiant my now-husband and I spoke with, and turned out to be the only one, since we knew that day that he would be great. Robert is awesome! We were looking to have a nontraditional Halloween themed wedding and Robert's profile jumped out at us immediately. He turned out to be exactly what we were looking for. After meeting with him just once, Robert was able to create an awesome ceremony that fit us perfectly. We decided to have an unconventional wedding, and we needed someone to marry us. We planned a costume Halloween party - that turned into a wedding. Robert met with us to talk about our plans, and we spent about an hour and a half together talking. The next day, Robert sent the 'script' and ceremony plan. He had nailed it! We were very happy with how he captured the vibe of who we are separately and together and wove it all together into a beautiful story. Everything went smoothly, and Robert did a great job. I am very happy with the entire process.

Robert was a great choice for our wedding. Our theme was steampunk and he cake dressed to the nines for it. We’re both major geeks and he was able to incorporate that into the ceremony flawlessly. He kept everyone entertained even though it was outside and more than a little chilly. Highly recommend!

Robert was the perfect officiant for my now- husband Steve and I. We chose him for his nerdiness. On top of that we got an excellent writer, a clear and projecting orator, and an experienced wedding ceremony organizer. Robert helped us through tough spots. We came to the rehearsal totally unprepared for what we needed to do. Everyone in the wedding party was from out of town. This was our one chance to practice. We only had one hour at the venue before another party came to rehearse after us, and we started 15 minutes late due to traffic. People were a little stressed about it. When we got there, Robert took control of the situation and directed us so clearly and smoothly that we ran through it twice and even got done early. He also had many ideas for parts of the ceremony Steve and I were unsure about and guided us to making a ceremony that was very uniquely us. Robert wrote us a touching and personal ceremony. Before the wedding we only talked to him once or twice via Skype, but from the information we gave him about our relationship he wrote a great piece about how we met and how our lives have evolved together since. He sent it to us for review and edited it with our notes. The day-of this piece took our guests through our whole story, filling them in on parts they weren't involved in. There were jokes, serious parts, sappy parts, and videogame references; it was so personal that several of our guests asked if he was our longtime friend. It was a bummer that he gave us the first draft about a week before the wedding. Steve and I happened to be apart for that week, so it would have been more convenient if we had gotten it earlier and could review it together in person, but with Google Hangouts and Drive to use, it wasn't such a big deal. I was a little worried getting the draft so close to the event, but everything turned out fine. I understand that Robert had several other clients with weddings in the surrounding weekends, so Steve and I weren't upset. Despite being busy and behind schedule he still communicated with me via email in the weeks before the wedding, usually responding within a day of me messaging him. In the future, I'd like to wish him luck figuring out how to manage so many weddings on top of his demanding day job as an English teacher. Getting that much work definitely says good things about his talents! Thank you for everything Robert. Steve and I will remember our ceremony forever.

Excellent officiant, we had so many people come up to us and tell us how great he was, and asked how we found him! He wrote an excellent custom ceremony that fit us perfectly, and performed it flawlessly. Two thumbs way up!
