much makeup, but Brigitte found a perfect balance for me and highlighted my eyes perfectly, which is what my husband loves most about me!
Brigitte went above and beyond to accommodate last minute touch ups for myself and the girls when it was pouring down rain. She traveled down the road with us, and back to the venue with us. She also helped carry my dress and held umbrellas to ensure I was protected from the weather. It was so thoughtful of her to help.
The getting ready area was also perfect for the bridal party and my mom. They had a small bar and refrigerator for our snacks and bubbly, as well as a changing area and restroom. I had girls that were not receiving services, and they were completely welcome in the space. The area was also used for our bridal party pictures. With the rain, we used the staircase for our first look. Overall, the hair and makeup was perfect, along with the location. I couldn't recommend the Union Knot more to any bride having her wedding on the coast, especially Cannon Beach.

She had a gorgeous getting-ready area set up in the salon where the photographer could take photos of my dress and the whole process - it was so special to capture all of those special moments! I would highly recommend Brigitte and her salon team to any bride on their wedding day!

geous and incredibly photogenic so if you are having a ceremony local in Cannon Beach I whole heartedly recommend it. Both our photographer and videographer commented on how easy and seamless it was to take getting ready photos and video without getting hotel room clutter in the background. There also was a small bar area where we were able to set up snacks and drinks since the getting ready process can take a while to get through. For the hair and makeup all of the artists that worked with our group were so kind and professional. My mother and mother-in-law both had little experience going through the process and simply asked the hair and makeup artist to make them look beautiful and that’s exactly what they did. They matched their makeup to their dress choices and were able to give them a hairstyle they never would have attempted on their own and they were so grateful. Myself and my maid of honor had more specific looks in mind and they matched the looks perfectly to what we were asking. Throughout the whole process they kept the conversation calm and light which helped with my emotional nerves of the day. Overall, we were done with all of our looks ahead of schedule which kept me calm and excited for the day ahead instead of rushing at the end. Thank you again for making us all look so beautiful and for having such a quiet and special morning before the wedding. Alicia & Family.

First impression when you walk into Union Knot is that you are in for a treat. Their space is bright with tons of natural light. Their non pretentious service had me relaxed and ready to take on the hectic day. I would call before your appointment to get detailed instructions on how to get up to the studio. I was running late and got flustered on which door to enter and exactly where the stairs were, but was met with a cool and non affected team.
Brigitte and Steph are pros. Not only was I surprised by a complimentary champagne toast for my friend and I, they also took the time to arrange my wedding ring, earrings, and necklace together for a sweet photo opp. Very fast, and memorable experience all around. Great communication via email as well. Cannon Beach is such an awesome community that I am proud to contribute to and it’s because of businesses like Union Knot.
