The team at Union was not just a venue -- they were incredibly helpful throughout the entire planning process. We found some of our best vendors (food, coordinator, etc) through their recommendations. We couldn't be happier to have chosen this venue and team. The Union on Eighth totally knows what they are doing when it comes to weddings. As a wedding planner, this is one of the best venues I have worked with. They are equal parts kind, informative & helpful. If you are looking for a venue in Austin, look no further than The Union on Eighth!!

Everything about the Union is SO perfect!!!! We love how the photos always come out. They have the flow of each wedding down to a T, from the getting ready time to ceremony, to cocktail hour and reception. Morghan is our ABSOLUTE favorite and she is always going above and beyond to make sure her vendors and clients are taken care of!

The very first time we visited The Union on Eighth while touring venues for our wedding we fell in love. It’s located just outside Georgetown’s town square with the cutest shops, restaurants and wineries. We loved the modern/industrial feel and the versatile indoor and outdoor spaces. We always planned on having our wedding ceremony outdoors and their courtyard garden was just what we were looking for. Thankfully the weather was perfect on our wedding day but the back up plan to have it indoors would have been just as beautiful. We had the cocktail hour outdoors in the courtyard by the Airstream and the reception indoors and it was so cozy and intimate. We loved that both spaces had the ability to blend together when you opened the windowed garage door. Both the indoors and outdoors needed very little decoration to make it look amazing. Even though they were on the smaller side, we loved the beautiful bridal suite and the uncommon groom’s suite which is in the cutest Airstream! They carry the modern/industrial design throughout the whole venue - even their bathroom is photo worthy! We were delighted that the venue provided tables and chairs that complemented the rest of the space and we didn’t have to worry about renting our own. Morghan was always very helpful and accommodating whenever we had any questions or had to make any adjustments. One small thing - it would have been nice to have running water in the Airstream so the bridal party didn’t have to share the same bathroom while getting ready. We would recommend this venue to anyone looking for something unique and timeless just outside of the Austin city limits. It’s already such a beautiful venue but you can really make it your own. We loved our wedding at the Union! The venue is beautiful and really cool - our pictures look great and our guests loved it! We used one of the inclusive packages offered by the Union and I'm so glad we did. It made a lot of decisions really easy. What a relief to just have a list of options instead of having to go out and search for things! In short, working with the Union made both our wedding planning and our wedding day easy, stress-free, and fun. It was absolutely a perfect day!

We knew The Union on Eighth was the place we wanted when we visited. I love the design, which makes decorating easy because it doesn't need to be dressed up that much. We also loved that it was spacious (we had about 150 guests) yet felt intimate. The twinkle lights outside were perfect for our final couples dance! Also, working with The Union team (Katy and Morghan) was professional and easy-going. I'm so glad we got married here!

This venue needed little decoration! It was gorgeous and the different areas make for an amazing vibe for everyone!

We loved The Union!! They were so kind and so super easy to deal with. Katy is great and very willing to help. The venue is beautiful and leaves little need for extra decoration both inside and outside. The included valet parking was a huge bonus for us since we had many out of town guests who would have been overwhelmed by parking on the square.

This venue is perfect for the modern, low maintenance bride. Katie is amazing to work with. The venue is unique, gorgeous, and intimate.

I cannot recommend the Union enough! Seriously what a uniquely beautiful and stylish venue! They're also so talented in making sure all your wedding day dreams come true. I love all the options they provide for adding unique portions to your days like a food truck or the different ceremony sites. You will love the warm feeling you have inside the main hall and the bathrooms are even beautiful! You're so close to downtown which is super nice for your guest. Seriously you have to book here. They have an amazing team, a beautiful location and working with Katy is always a pleasure!

The Union was the perfect venue for our intimate wedding. The venue itself is so beautiful and did not require much to make it romantic at all. Just everything about the venue from the lighting to the structure and all the details is perfectly designed. Our family and friends raved about it for days! Katy, the owner, is an absolute doll to work with! She was very accommodating and responded in a timely manner. I can't imagine my wedding day anywhere else, but here. Plus, Georgetown is such a cute and quaint city. Everyone is so friendly here!

This place is beyond amazing. We had 150 person wedding and it was beautiful. The owners stayed in contact with us throughout the entire planning process (over a year), and everything ran smoothly. The venue itself could not be more perfect, with the inside/outside options and big bay garage doors. We opened the door leading to the courtyard, and people flowed seemlessly inside and out. This is a natural, beautiful setting, and it really needs no decoration, although our flowers and decor made it that much better. I'd recommend The Union to anyone!

The Union on Eighth is such a unique and beautiful venue!! We had our wedding reception at The Union on April 14, 2018 and it was absolutely perfect!! We’re still receiving compliments on how much everyone loved the venue! The neat ceilings and pretty courtyard were two of the big hits. I personally loved the farm style tables, they made the space feel and look welcoming to all. Katy is so sweet and was always communicative, quick to respond, and helpful answering my many questions. The manager on site the night of our wedding was also great. The complimentary valet parking service was very helpful and worked wonderfully for our guests. I hope I can attend future events at The Union, it’s such a breathtaking venue!!

We had our wedding in December and this was the absolute perfect spot for us! The space has an intimate feel and made for beautiful photos! We had so many complements from friends and family on the unique style. Katy was a breeze to work with and always responded quickly. We rented chairs because the bistro chairs provided through the venue seemed a tad small for the comfort of our guests, but Katy helped me with some recommendations and feedback through that process. It actually snowed (yeah, that one day central Texas got REAL snow) at our rehearsal which was so magical I didn’t even care that I had to use plan B for the indoor space the next day. It was so easy to set up everything inside and our guests thanked us for not making them freeze! Thank you thank you to our team who helped make our day so memorable! We adore you!

If we could give this venue 10 stars, we would. When we lost our venue due to the property selling, the owners of The Union on Eighth went above and beyond for us to host our wedding day there in less than 4 months. We can't explain enough how professional they were in their business. It was truly a blessing after the drama we went through. The Union was completely different from the garden venue we had but it worked wonderfully with our floral theme. In fact, the venue could host a number of different tastes and still look gorgeous. The lighting inside and out is a photographer's dream. TBH, my favorite part of the venue was the bathroom! So cool! I highly recommend hosting your event with these fine folks. We absolutely loved having our wedding at this venue! We knew we wanted to keep our wedding simple, and with all the different materials and textures inside and out, we didn't have to do much to make this venue shine! The weather was beautiful on our wedding day, so we got to take full advantage of having our ceremony outside, cocktail hour near the airstream, and then head inside for dinner and dancing. We kept the garage door open all day too!

The venue is simply perfect...if you've been to the venue you will know exactly what i'm talking about. I was thrilled to have a venue that would allow for an indoor and outdoor space. The team working at the venue was wonderful and were so glad they shared in making my wedding special. Thank you!

My daughter and now, son-in-law's, wedding was held at the Union on Eighth a week ago. We all fell in love with the uniqueness of this venue. It has an industrial/rustic look but is warm and inviting. The outdoor courtyards are nicely landscaped--the side courtyard with its large umbrellas, lighting, classic Airstream trailer and deck was the perfect setting for the cocktail hour. The grassy area with its bricked walls, landscaping and lighting was just beautiful and no additional decor needed. The inside with its heavy wood beams, garage doors that open to the main courtyard, various lighting, and unique decor is full of character. Our families and friends RAVED about this venue and they had a blast! Katy was GREAT to work with. The valet service was a perk and appreciated by our guests. What a gem just a block or so from the Georgetown square.

The Union on Eighth was so dreamy and perfect. My husband and I loved it- and Georgetown was the perfect town. It will forever have a special place in our hearts! The Union is unique and stunning, the service was great & easy to communicate with, best price we could find, loved getting married in front of the windowed garage door + being able to open it up for the reception! My only comment would be that there is only one bathroom. The getting ready area for the bridesmaids only has one mirror, and the getting ready area for the groomsmen didn't have any mirrors. So be sure to either bring extra mirrors, or have the groomsmen + groom get fully ready before coming to the venue so there's not awkward bathroom encounters :) This is an easy thing to be prepared for, it just slipped my mind during the planning process! It all worked out and my husband and I successfully did not see each other until I was walking down the aisle! Choose this place!!! <3

Sheer enchantment from the time I saw a video view of the venue! Any of the 2-3 places I'd seen on line or in person I knew this was the place to have our big day! The space is huge! The trees give it some calming and dramatic, earthy vibes. The greenery give you the most beautiful and natural pictures you couldn't believe! They have spaces that could double for changing and waiting areas for whatever parties, events you could be hosting.( mine was for wedding party changing and hanging out) The bathrooms are gorgeous! To me they are huge and also, made for good backdrop for pictures! I can go on and on about the Eight! The owners are super nice and! And from my experience take care and help make my day go as easy and smooth as possible! They even have valet parking so your guests if wanted don't have to worry about parking! Long story short , I'd love to do it all over again! This space delivers and you don't need much of anything to add your own personalized touches! I still get compliments from family and guest s about how beautiful this space is! You can dress it up or down at this venue. I'd give it 10 stars overall! Book fast this has everything you would want and need at one spot ! Thank Union on the Eight❤️!

The venue is gorgeous! Staff is so kind & easy to work with. Only thing they can improve on is communication leading up to the wedding. Overall, we loved our day at the Union on Eighth!

From the initial visit to wedding day, I loved working with the Union. The venue will absolutely blow you away. Very rustic chic on beautiful grounds just a block away from beautiful downtown Georgetown.

The amount of compliments I received on my wedding day on my choice of venue were far too many to count. The venue needs minimal decor due to the beauty of the wood, garage doors, and lighting. The staff was pleasant to work with and helped create a seating arrangement that fit my guest count and activities perfectly.

Look no further. Book this venue. I can't say enough about how beautiful it is. For such an open and "clean slate" venue, there are SO many sweet little details that make it so dreamy. I wish I could live there. Katy was so wonderful and accommodating in answering all my questions and working with us to make sure we had everything we needed on our wedding day. Go visit the venue and you won't turn back!

If I could give The Union seven stars I would. First of all the venue was stunning. The simplistic beauty was a dream come true. More importantly the owners are amazing Katy answers all of my emails promptly was flexible and so laid back. Have your wedding here. Period.

We LOVED our wedding at The Union on Eighth and so did our guests! This venue has such a fun atmosphere and we loved how unique it was. Our wedding guests couldn't stop raving about how "cool" of a place we'd found! The courtyard was beautiful and was perfect for our April wedding :)

I loved our wedding venue. Katy and Justin were very easy to work with and are in general just good people. They always answered my questions asap and were ready to meet me in a moments notice. The venue itself is gorgeous!! They did a great job with restoring it, so we didn't need to decorate much at all. If you decide to have your wedding there you won't regret it!! Georgetown square is just around the corner. That means your guests have a lot of wonderful shops, restaurants, and beautiful views in walking distance to discover before and after the wedding.

This venue is absolutely incredible. Not only is the structure and the outdoor courtyard breathtakingly beautiful, but the owner of the venue was a gem to work with. Justin helped us every step of the way and was cool, calm, & collected at all times. We had a wedding reception here in January 2015 on a VERY rainy day - it didn't dampen anything! We had a large band in the facility and Justin really helped us plan the layout etc. I can't thank the venue and all the vendors we had in this amazingly rustic, but modern building. SO so so happy with everything. Anyone would be thrilled to celebrate their big day here.

We hosted our rehearsal dinner at the Union on Eighth. This space is breathtaking. We hardly used any decoration, because the space looks so great. All of our pictures came out amazingly. I could not be happier about the space. During the planning process, I had some trouble getting in touch with Justin, but everything came together fine on the day of. I would definitely recommend this space to other brides or anyone hosting a special event in the Austin area.
