I believe this is the best option for a large formal event in the St Joseph, MO area. I would recommend it as a possibility for a reception or party site!

The bartenders we paid for (friends of ours) arrived early to set up and he very rudely asked them where their skirts were (which was not only sexist, but completely inappropriate). They were dressed in dressy tops and shorts because it was SO hot in the ballroom. Guests took their beers outside to smoke and he would take them away and even people who were just smoking he would glare them down making many uncomfortable. His servers kept taking guests full drinks off of tables during the night. He ended up in several of our wedding pictures (he was NOT invited to the party). We were promised security at the door so people who were downtown and not invited wouldn't come in, there was NO security. When I (the bride) went to confront him about what he said to my bartenders he felt the need to argue with me when we paid him 2,000 dollars to rent out his place. Please, please, please NEVER risk your big day in the hands of this place. He and his wife were extremely rude and unorganized.
