A true hidden gem in downtown Boston! I’d recommend the UMass Club over almost any other downtown venue (even the ones that cost nearly twice as much)—and I’ve toured / been to a lottttt of them. It’s a sleek, modern space 32 floors above the city, with incredible natural light and spectacular 360° views (especially fun for out-of-town guests). The staff at the club are amazing and Paige (lead event coordinator), in particular, was amazing—everything ran flawlessly on the big day. P.S. if you’ve already booked the club, I’d highly recommend the timing we went with—it really made the most of the space. Our ceremony was about 50 minutes before sunset, so the lighting was perfect for vows and such, guests got stunning sunset views during cocktail hour, and our first dance lined up with the last glimmers of sunset. To make a long story short, highly, highly recommend!

Thank you to Paige and all of the wonderful UMass Club staff. We had the absolute best experience working with Paige. She is so nice and welcoming along with being very responsive. We knew we wanted to have our reception downtown and when we saw the UMass club we knew it was perfect for us. It has the absolute best view of Boston! We loved the open setting and the overall flow of the space. We also had heard that the food was excellent and it exceeded all of our expectations. We were supposed to get married in 2020 and the UMass club could not have been more accommodating to our changing plans. When we planned for 2021 we picked right back up where we were and our event was flawless! The food was fantastic and our guests raved about it. The staff was so helpful and welcoming to our guests. Overall we had a fantastic reception and can't thank Paige enough for all the UMass Club did for us.

My husband and I were married on July 1st, 2017. The entire team at the Umass Club made our wedding a breezy dream. From the very beginning they were helpful with every question we had. They set up everything for us, and it looked better than I imagined. The food and service are flawless. Jackie, Paige, and the staff there were the best. I highly recommend using this venue. The views are unbeatable. Thanks so much Umass Club!

Jacki and the team at the Umass Club made our wedding day AMAZING. The details that they added, the things I didn't even think of that they thought of - I can't say enough. Our guests were so impressed with the views, the food, everything. I'd recommend having your wedding at the Umass Club over ANYWHERE else!

Courtney and the staff at the UMass Club gave us the September wedding of our dreams. We absolutely fell in love with the place about a year ago when we got off the elevator and saw the spectacular view the venue had to offer. We were so excited to find a classy and chic venue in the heart of downtown Boston where we first met. The planning process was pretty easy and Courtney was so patient with me and my husband's many questions. I was especially surprised how easy it was to plan the wedding from 3,000 miles away (we live in San Diego). The ceremony and cocktail hour was pretty seamless. The only issue was that the dinner service was pretty slow (I guess there was a problem in the kitchen), but our guests did not seem to notice and we were able to get our table visits out of the way between courses. By the time dinner was over all that was left to do was party...and we sure did! We have gotten TONS of compliments on our wedding, and what stuck out the most was how different it was from the normal ballroom/event room. I'm sad that our wedding was one of the last weddings at the UMass Club's Franklin St. location, but I'm sure the staff will make new location just as special!

I have nothing but good things to say about the UMass Club, so I'm going to do this review in list form: . 1) The views of Boston are incredible (which makes it particularly attractive if you have a lot of out-of-town guests... all of my friends from NY fell in love with Boston and spent a good chunk of time looking out the windows!) 2) The service is excellent. The staff was very attentive and friendly, and our wedding coordinator, Courtney, was on top of every detail before the wedding and throughout the day. She's also patient: I emailed her a ton of questions and went back-and-forth on some things and she was always willing and ready to help. 3) The food was amazing. My husband and I both agreed that we had literally the best steak either of us has ever eaten at our wedding. Everyone else I asked said their food was delicious as well. 4) The value is unbeatable for a wedding in downtown Boston. My biggest concern was that most venues do alcohol by consumption only, which means you're left with a big question mark on your price tag at the end of the night. This could tack on thousands of extra dollars for an open bar. The UMass Club offers a 4-hour hosted open bar included in the price of dinner (you get limited options, but the package includes more than enough to satisfy any guest). If you want to upgrade to get different options, then you can do that as well for a fixed per person cost. I loved knowing ahead of time exactly what we'd owe so that I was not stressed about costing my family a ridiculous amount of money so I could offer an open bar. I could keep going on and on, but I think it's clear that I'd highly recommend the UMass Club for a wedding. Every guest I've talked to after my wedding has raved about the views and the whole club in general, so there seems to be a consensus!

I absolutely loved everything about my wedding reception at the UMass Alumni Club. The event corrdinators there were phenomenal to work with and the service staff were excellent. From the first meeting to the last minute of the wedding they were all professional and curtious. When I walked into the room before my guests for the first time, it was exactly how I had pictured I wanted it. The views alone would make any wedding! I cannot say enough great things about it!

If I could give more stars I would. UMASS Club was everything I was hoping for and more. I knew I wanted to get married in the city but wanted the views to go along with it. I looked at several places around the city but nothing could beat UMASS. Heather was wonderful to work with even when I know I asked her the same questions over and over again. The views were to die for and it had a bit of Glam to it. You get the use of the whole club which gives it a very private feel plus you are up on the 33rd floor. We had a separate room for the girls and guys too. We received so many compliments from our friends and family at how beautiful the club was. The appetizers and entrees were delish which many of us know the food sometimes is not very good. I am so happy with the Club and can't wait to go there for our first anniversary dinner! Thanks Heather and everyone at the Club..
